Congratulations Larry! WOW! You picked up some beautiful looking books there. love the Capt.A by Steranko I remember buying those three Steranko issues off my local corner store wall rack as a 6/7-year-old. Those 50's Atomic Age comics look really clean too. It's a shame that missing cover piece was there even loose. So maybe it could be somewhat repaired. Very nice!
Yeah, I’m happy with the outcome overall. That one cover could be leaf cast but in truth, it’s value just really wouldn’t be worth it and my leaf casting ability is still at the toddler stage.
Congratulations! That's a pretty cool group of book you got there. I have bought from Heritage many years back and I got some fantastic deals, though nothing recently. Thanks for posting.
Thank you very much. I actually shop with them quite often, but I don’t collect them for several months and then have them shipped. I’m getting ready to actually consign some high value books with them to see what happens it’ll be my first time.
Congratulations! Great pickups. FF243 is one of my favorite covers of all time! I have the Marvel Legends sculpture of it as well as a 9.8 candidate Mark Jewelers of this one as well. John Byrne was one of my favorite artists as a kid. Good stuff!
Congrats Larry on these beautiful Heritage Auctions books. Drooling over the gloss and how good they all look! By the way, I’m glad you got the Avengers #4 that you guys discussed briefly on the program on Sunday (episode 8 I believe). Always liked this book. So much so that I painted Captain America from its cover.
Thanks Peter! Yes, that’s always been one of my personal blue chip grails. I keep upgrading it overtime. I had a 3.0 signed by Stan Lee that I couldn’t hang onto because I was offered such a good price on it and then I have a 2.5 still in the collection, which is the one I have a purple label on because it was really really in bad shape. so I’ll hang onto this one until I can afford to keep upgrading
@@FlyingLComics I have two low grades Avengers #4 in my collection! I value them even more than Avengers #1, which I also own in low grade. I have to send them to CGC but haven’t had the time.

SOTI books - they were not necessarily used in the senate hearings but they were mentioned in the Seduction Of The Innocent book.
Amazing 👏 🤩
Thanks 🤗
Nice comics
Thanks!
