    Wanted to let you know I made this today with the whole cream cheese bar and had no problems. I braided the pastry tighter to hold everything in tack. I also added some peach preserves and had no leaks.

    You just made my danish game go up significantly! I hate store bought pastries but I cannot live without having a danish here or there. I did the same thing but with strawberries and it was 10/10

      Yup. I just thought about the juice lot I literally put a bunch of ingredients in my shopping list hoping my mom would by the stuff to make raspberry jello cake I couldn’t stop thinking about making it last night.

    I remained bent on not making anything with puff pastry because i always wanted to make EVERYTHING from scratch. But I realized it's okay to use store-bought puff pastry hahah! This looks so delicious!

    I tried it with fresh peaches and it didn't work they were to sweet so they let out so much juice that the pasty puff didn't cook it was saggy and the cream cheese got all nasty looking failerrrr but am definitely gunna try again with the canned peaches hopefully It comes out good 😬

    I'm Danish and this has nothing to do with traditional, Danish pastries :) but it does look good. Odd thing is, in Denmark, we call it "wienerbrød" which translates to "Vienna bread", so calling it a Danish is nice but it simply sounds wrong :)

    I was so excited doing this recipe but the cream cheese completely ruined I did just the way you did I used mascarpone I don’t know if that’s important so sad not successful this time

      Hi Daria! I had the same question so I tried it with the full 8 oz and it was just too much and it started to ooze out. The 6 oz was just right :)

      It actually can matter. Some fruit grown in other countries is still sprayed with pesticides or fungicides which the US banned many years ago.

    Total fail! Disappointed. I took the pastry out of the oven, let it rest and cooled. Drizzled the glaze, cut into slices and it was hard to slice cause the filling was too soft it looked all curdled and the inside of the pastry was super soggy.
