Nice tool! I’m battling my 99 Silverado daily. Guess I’m stubborn? I have a egr line leaking, and I’d rather just delete the whole device. Unfortunately it is going to cost about the same to flash the pcm to delete the egr, as it would to buy replacement egr. Wish the code readers would evolve to include basic reprogramming needs!
Good luck! If the tools were able to program, then the companies would be out of business on selling you a new one.
Hi I have same machine and I just picked up a Santa Fe,no engine light but I said I'll put my computer on it,it shows all green lights except cat it's red,,is that ok
That means it hasn't yet run the CAT test. Drive it some more and it will either clear to green or set a code.
@@FarpointRestorationsAndRepairs I've just pulled a stored code p0421 warm up catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 1,, but no engine light and I've been driving it for few days now but I do have an occasional judder like as if power could be better it's 2ltr petrol,I appreciate any advice, cheers john

If that had TPMS I'd be all over it, the hardware seems pretty nice.
I finally found a scan tool that covers TMPS and OBD2 all in one. I'll review it over on the main channel.
Im curious how long does your stay charged? I just got mine new on amazon about 2 or maybe 3 weeks ago, turned it on when i got it, hooked to wifi, it was already updated. Never used it yet, turned it on tonight and the battery was dead, it had 99% when i shut it off. I deffintly shit it off? Do they just not stay charged long?
I'll bet it didn't fully shut off. I have mine in a car and it goes weeks turned off without issues.
Anyone know the passwords it needs when you tap model (or either of the two system version options) multiple times under settings > about?
I am not sure, have you reached out the the manufacturer?
Like the car is cold in my drive is red mean a sensor or something or is it normal, cheers john

You failed to mention that it's going to cost another $40 for these options.
it is common practice for scan tools to have upgrades that need to be paid for of you want the extras.
