Everyone does reviews on this thing but really gives any real information. The best heads up is the buyer will need to buy the packages. That does help a lot but other than that. Its a scanner.
Thanks for a great review, but if I buy one, is it the price of the device, then $99 for all system diagnosis, then $79 for all 28 reset functions and then $59 for bidirectional?
Thank you for your Video! Do you know if it would reset Collision Mitigation Braking System problem and/or Forward Collision Warning System on a 2017 Honda?
Not quite to their level yet with this scanner. The lack of some basic bi directional functions is what makes me say this. Maybe a higher model in the mucar lineup may be more comparable but I dont have access to those yet.
Lou, I am not great with UA-cam on putting question where it really goes. I wanted to follow up your assist.....on my 2002 S55, I found the fuse that was out of place under hood on driver side and put it in slot 26 and now my problem, which was all the buttons along dash were not working, bow they work....however....now my battery is drained and I have to charge the car.....what do you think regards what appears to be a parasitic battery drain perhaps?
Master Tech Lou!! I have a 2007 S600 that has been diagnosed with a bad valve stem gasket on cylinder #6. Compression is good on all cylinders. What kind of money am I looking at for a repair? Thanks!!
Dude you don’t even wanna know! Its not cost effective to just do 1 cylinder. I don’t think theres a labor time for it either. I would guess easily over 2k for doing valve stem seals. If you can find someone willing to do it on car. I don’t even know if I would want to do that job. I know mine (04 S600) needs a complete engine reseal. All gaskets are rock hard. I have yet to tear into it.
@@datdamndavisboy its a beast of a motor. The engine itself is nothing scary. Its the fact if having to remove it and with twin turbos to remove and all the piping. Just takes so much time, shops Dont wanna down a rack . Hard to find techs as it is let alone tie up a bay for weeks.
@@MasterTechLou The answers are getting bleaker and bleaker. Should I give liqui moly seal rejuvenator a shot? What happens if I don't find a reasonable answer? Will the motor lock up or go bad?
@@alexsarkisyan1 negative. I never had to ever clear any crash data from a Mercedes srs module, nor is it something I am aware that needs done, if there is another make and model that you need to do that too, that is out of my realm of experience.

...hi what is the difference between clear the code and the reset función? ...is not the same thing? Thanks!
It can used for 24 volts sir?

Probably could erase codes but not do a relearn or calibration

Hello! Which models are made In brazil? I can check for you. ❤️
What are your thoughts on this scan tool vs the Xtool A30M?
A30M . It has surprised me how functional it is with Mercedes
How would u compare this to say a professional shop grade autel like the mp808 ? Tks

guessing fuse was pulled due to drain, but I cannot answer what is causing a draw. a draw test is the only thing that can answer that.

@@datdamndavisboy you can try . once all the seals fail you will consume mass amounts of oil which will clog the cat converters.
Does it also depends on wifi?
No you can use it offline. Only needs wifi for updates
