    I sit in a comfy chair, eating good food and watch UA-cam videos. I cannot start to imagine your situation. Every day I drive past a very large waterfront estate that is hosting 100 or so Ukrainian ladies and their children. The media might be distracted elsewhere but I think of your country and its plight every day.
    You do what works best for you and I'll happily watch.

      It’s more pleasant for me to accompany the video with my voice, but it’s difficult and long for me to complete this task. Of course, modern translation systems with accompanying sound make it possible to cope with this, but it takes a lot of effort and time. (so many). That’s why I at least partly want to make the work easier and faster.

    Your English is perfectly understandable, every thing is fine: vocabulary, phrase construction, pronunciation, etc, I'm sure it would still be perfectly fine if you put half the effort into it, and if it meant that we get more videos, most of us would advise to do it !

      I would like to pronounce part of the text in the video myself, so that I can still learn to pronounce and understand the English text, but at the same time use part of the text from the speaker. In addition, there is another problem: when I have to say the entire text myself, I am forced to shorten it as much as possible, realizing that the work of dubbing will be enormous. Using a speech synthesizer, at least partially, I do not limit the volume of text, and this is better.

      Hello! By chance, I had the most interesting opportunity to repair a fairly large machine using only manual work and technical calculations. Fortunately, I recently purchased an excellent autocollimator. It turned out that I have everything I need for this. I myself am intrigued by this project. Moreover, after the repair I will be able to use this machine at my discretion, paying a rent. For me, this will be an excellent opportunity for further work on creating UA-cam content and for practical work.

    Gena,
    Like many speakers of English as a second language, your speach is better than native speakers. Certainly you have an accent but your clear and precise annunciation more than make up for it. Your AI friend has English as a second language too, her native tongue is 0's and 1's and she gets the intonation wrong and has no clue what she's talking about. I'm sure it is more work for you but it will get easier every time as you learn along the way. Your videos are very interesting and well worth any wait.
    Cheers,

      Hello! Thank you for analyzing the situation with the audio on my channel; opinions in this regard are important to me, since I do not have criteria for independent analysis of this part of my work. Comments like these help me focus correctly and act more rationally. Circumstances have developed in such a way that there is an opportunity, and I would like to move forward as quickly as possible with the work on the topic of the channel, and simultaneously prepare and publish new material. Therefore, I am trying to save the time needed to prepare new video material, since the quality of the audio only to a certain extent affects the ability to convey information, the essence of which is more important than the quality of its presentation. I hope that in the future I will have the opportunity to devote more time to studying English, and I will be able to create videos of better quality in terms of pronunciation. I have a lot of useful information to publish, and the circumstances are not favorable due to instability, so I think it’s not worth wasting time on something that is not essential. Thank you!

    Those animations are high quality, excellent work. As for the voice over, I will watch your content either way. The 50/50 split in this video was also nice. Though, if you continue to use text to speech I would prefer a male voice if possible - or a lower pitched female.

      I used a female voice to emphasize that this was an assistant, that was the motive for the choice. I will take your opinion into account, thank you. In any case, I intend to pronounce part of the text myself so that the video is not impersonal.

      In order to pronounce the text more or less correctly, I have to make a lot of effort, listen to the sentence many times, then pronounce it many times until it turns out more or less satisfactorily. When I entrust part of this work to the announcer, it is much easier and faster for me to make the next video.

    It's amazing to see how this is done, such a precise process performed with relatively simple procedures, but so carefully. That particular synthetic female voice has gotten some negative connotations attached to it because it is very common in low effort foreign productions, not that your's are anything of the sort. I understand that videos are very time intensive, and that anything that can save you time is precious, so perhaps use the same automatic translator with a different voice?

    Можу порадити виписати усі слова з якими у вас проблеми у словник та зубрититїх. Це найбільш ефективний метод. Хто б що не говорив.

    In order to understand which bases to take as a basis, it is not necessary to invent, for this there are Pekelis and other authors. These bumpers, which you check half the film, have never been guides. The base is the guide frames - flat and wedge-shaped. The accuracy also depends on the condition of the spindle.Check its geometric accuracy, the condition of the bearing supports, if you are already offering the audience academic accuracy, go to the end, and you have taken up your games again. Do you at least know the main base of the grinding machine, what orient is aiming at, placing it, for example, on a huge flat-plate? It will not be the sole of the bed, if anything. They all tell the same story, fragments without beginning or end.

    • @gena_bazarko
      @gena_bazarko  8 місяців тому +2

      In the video I explained to the viewer the meaning of my actions. I understood that these grooves do not have to be geometrically accurate, and most likely they are not. But I should have checked their condition. If the machine on which these grooves were planed or milled was new at the time of processing this bed, the accuracy of these grooves could be higher than the accuracy of worn guides. In addition, if these grooves had a slight defect in straightness, I could correct it with less labor. In this case, I could use them to reduce the amount of manual work on the main guides. What's my mistake? To eliminate translation inaccuracies, I duplicate the comment in Russian.

      Я в видео изложил зрителю смысл моих действий. Я понимал, что эти пазы не обязаны быть геометрически точными, и скорее всего таковыми не являются. Но мне следовало проверить их состояние. В случае, если бы станок, на котором прострогали или профрезеровали эти пазы был на момент обработки этой станины новым, точность этих пазов могла оказаться выше, чем точность изношенных направляющих. Кроме того, в случае, если бы эти пазы имели бы незначительный дефект прямолинейности, я мог бы поправить его меньшими трудозатратами. В таком случае я мог бы использовать их для уменьшения объема ручной работы по основным направляющим. В чем моя ошибка?

    • @user-Master1969
      @user-Master1969 8 місяців тому

      @@gena_bazarko The mistake is that no one will grind the ridges or collars to limit the free movement of roller separators as the base surfaces. У шлифовального станка есть неизнашиваемые базовые поверхности, относительно которых ведутся все замеры. Надо смотреть паспорт. У токарных станков это, обычно, плоскость крепления коробки подач. Именно относительно ее (а не тумб или ножек станины), надо выставлять все остальные плоскости. Вот какую мысль я пытаюсь до вас довести. Многочисленные ошибки в видео и самописных "руководствах по ремонту" не отменяют объективной реальности :-)))

The point is that with special knowledge and skills, you can simply make a very precise metal-working machine with your own hands. It’s even easier to take an old, worn-out machine, which in this condition is worth little, and give it a complete overhaul, turning it into an excellent, accurate machine that, accordingly, allows you to make high-quality and accurate parts.
