Owen, my experience with this type of battery is that frequently the battery will charge but the BMS prevents discharge and the only way to keep using it is take the output directly from the battery. Many times this is not practical due the bike wiring, cheers

I think you hurt them cells by soldering them.. should in vest in a spot welder be way safer that room looks really flammable 😂

the one with no charge port is a common charge port and the other is a separate charge port. Nice to hear an Irish accent on the tube

Every since I had an 18650 go up in smoke on me from using a soldering iron on it I will never solder onto a battery again. Brought a spot welder off ali express and works a treat. So much more safer.
