Hello Stephen , all my aquariums are purpose built for breeding flocks of individual forms of the genus Pterophyllum , or for breeding their offspring , they are not ornamental aquariums , therefore they are all without substrate and only with the necessary equipment . As is probably obvious from the content of my channel , my passion is Angelfish , sometimes out of curiosity or opportunity I get some interesting cichlids or catfish.
Am been seeing the Angel fishes with a red top at the first time (!)... A one word, - the breeding (!). Such result may be got by a way of the selection only (!). Perhaps.., this sub variety is very rare... Not knowing this preciously... My greetings with a very lucky setup, designed in the Amazon style, as I'm thinking ! BfK.
Hello, this is not unusual for me, the fish in the video are descendants of catch fish from nature, no one has ever crossed them with another form - the original genes are still preserved, so the aids are 100% uniform, all offspring are identical with their parents, no defects in coloring - there is no need to select anything Quality feeding, water quality (low nitrogen content) - hygiene in the tank, are, in my experience, an essential parameter to achieve excellent results in breeding Thanks, good luck
@@marcdunord Hello, he did not try - it was not necessary .... I never noticed any manifestations of inbreedeng, the original breeding flock had 12 pieces, there were 7 males and 5 females - no permanent pair was ever formed in this flock (angelfish do not form permanent pairs in nature), the fish almost always chose another partner for spawning (with a few exceptions) - out of several dozen offspring, young fish always had 100% uniformity, an estimated less than 1% had some minor defect such as deformed gills, fins, etc. - which I personally do not consider for a defect caused by inbreedeng
They are Manacapuru - commercially referred to as Red Schoulder, the video shows FIII generation fish, and you can sometimes get them from me in Prague

Hello, it is definitely possible, unfortunately, I do not have enough time to handle and arrange transportation, the picking is only possible personally in Prague, kind regards, M.M.
This is just sad. You have way too many fish in this tank and you seem to be flaunting the fact they are fighting. I guess you haven't kept Angelfish for a long time or you have and you moved them out of this crowded tank when you were done filming (at least I hope you did) with this many Tiger Angels who are flashing their colors so brightly and are actively fighting right in front of the camera you are going to have shredded fins at a minimum and pecked-out eyeballs or even dead Angels at worst. Angels need a lot of room, they need lots of hiding places which means a heavily planted tank which you do not have. There is one rule to good fish keeping which I think says it all. You must put the needs and the well being of the fish first. Meet those conditions and do what you want. All you have here is a tank full of stressed out Angelfish who are starting to fight as we are watching. Beautiful fish, horrible tank conditions.
blah blah blah!!! got tell it to the fish police if your so darn concerned . Fish get free meals plus A lush carpet of greenery . Those fish are far away from bigger meaner predators than in the wild . They looked like they were healthy let it go already negative nancy .
@@seehearspeaknoevil5090 Aylah is right and you comment is crap and so is your "logic" vs wild. This particular angelfish comes from Rio Manacapuru in Amazon, lives in shallow water and has not so many natural "big predators" , in fact it IS more of a predator for smaller fish and their "big predator" are humans from local villages who understood some people would pay $20 a piece ( same for wild Discus and a few other species from the area ) , so you're basically just talking non sense about things you don't even know. Also when you buy animals , you should care for them , but i guess the concept is a bit complicated for you , huh? That being said, if it's just a temporary aquarium for raising/selling , it's fairly normal for a short period of time , it would explain why no soil and plants still in pots, but i guess you didn't noticed that detail either? :))
he needs to add few more angels and up the filtration, so that the aggression is evenly distributed and there wont be no fights...this logic works universally for all fishes, even flowerhorns..
Angelfish will always fight regardless the tank size. I have just two at the momment in a 60 gallon and they fight all the time. A little fighting is common and won't hurt them because that's what angelfish do them lip locking isn't gonna kill them . They are all healthy and active and have room to swim . I'm adding 4 more to my tank this weekend. And I'll be adding a few More later on. The 1 inch per gallon rule is bullshit it's all about having good filtration . Even very experienced hobbyist will tell you this and are known to over stock . And what you see in the video is actually healthy, they are sparing it's called a peking order just like chickens they will do this to demonstrate who's the boss. It's natural they are healthy and if you know anything about angelfish you would know this . You don't know as much as you think you do. The more you have the better cause these fish prefer to be in large numbers verses just a couple.
@@JosephKarthic I'm adding a bunch of angelfish to my tank more equals less aggression and keeps one from being singled out. Just having A couple of odd numbers are a bad idea in my experience.of owning these fish. The more the better .

are they compatible with chocholate gourami?
