In regards to the bike that had the steering problem, The forks could've been twisted slightly! My bike was doing that and that is what the problem was with it. Loosened the bolts and realigned everything and problem disappeared. Idk, just thought I'd chime in in hopes of maybe helping someone else who has the same problem!😉

Former rider from 1996 to 2001...Yamaha Seca 2 600 Vance n Hines Custom 4 into 1 exhaust....Corbin Seat. Custom. 62 HP air cooled thing of the past when i was in high school but Point is my bike wouldnt lift as they do nowadays...i had to roll backwards on a hill and stand her up to achieve..these kind of phone numbers..numbers?#
.broke a chain doing so also. ..a reminder there. Remember your chain. You stretch here from wheelies ...could come off at a random time months later. AS it did me. Luckily i was in a neighboorhood not going fast i just fished tailed into the grass when my back tire locked up...from the chain wrapped around it.
Save lives just give her a look. if i had a camra back then i would have it.. Alive tho. Crazy.
if i may suggest...its not speed needed when doing a wheelie...youll learn that later...roll in 3rd.....its the dump to second while RPMs from 3rd were at 6 maybe 8 depends on the bike...basically a smooth drop into gear and speed but is now on the throttle with balance.....
its like when you learn how to shift without the clutch....up and down...tis a feel for it. All bikes are different. Be safe.Practice in parking lots first...like stadiums where no games etc...even if you drop her, no one saw it, hit no other cars. just go home trained better.
with a no clutch shift my right hand never lifts off throttle..i slightly pull more the moment i shift as if pulling the tweak from the motor off the handlebars a tinybit the moment it grabs and twists like its going to....if that makes any sense out there? You must find the gear and RPM she agrees too... for control of wheelie in only that gear. You must work up for the rest. You must train.

Thank you sir. Just buy the more expensive chain if practicing wheelies, and give her a look for 5 extra seconds before a ride, just in case. When mine broke i couldsee where it strected before gave way. That moment i knew it was my wheelie impressive phone number feats lol. Because no internet back then for me and most. Also adjust your clutch for less slip if adjustable. Should be. If hydraulic clutch, i must step down for have not tried on one. @@wishesm3
