This raises the argument that you can purchase pants that are actually rated and better for less money. He is able to pay influencers, supply coupon codes, push an absurd amount of google / IG / social media marketing/PPC because he has 85%+ margins on his products (he is more than likely paying $20-30 per pair). This is getting close to DOUBLE the margins that giants like Apple make. Obviously everyone is in the business to make money, but he is borderline praying on peoples lack of knowledge and making money off them. It's a shame that some influencers are now seeing this and speaking up. "Better than nothing" shouldn't be the standard to which people are buying pants to protect themselves but that isn't even the biggest argument against NBT. I don't even really like Yammienoob, but he made excellent arguments and exposed NBT for who they are. NBT is a joke in the world of protective riding gear, praying on naïve minds to make money. I'm not saying they won't protect you, but just buy them off Alibaba for $30-50 instead lol you can literally buy the exact same thing, you just don't get his weird "nickboytoyz" branding

I don’t disagree you can find better protection roughly around the same budget. This doesn’t make nbt a bad company though.The company is fairly new and is growing and with this can come better products and better actual in-house made items. The pants that are sold have protection in them now (I can’t find these on alibaba) His prices are in the same range as competitors yes some competitors sell full on leathers and actual actual gear which sure is better bang for the buck BUT once again the average rider doesn’t want that. They want someone that looks good and is subtle. I understand both sides of the arguments but I’m sticking with NBT as I love the brand they are and what they can become going forward into the future 🤙
Where do you draw your line then? NBT isn't tested and has no safety rating. It is the equivalent to $100 chinese helmets, would you support those? People crash with minimal gear and come out fine, some don't, just because one person crashes with NBT gear and came out fine does NOT mean they are safe and that is horrible way to try to express the safety of NBT gear. If all you can focus on is that Yammi used discontinued pants as his example, then you completely missed the point. There is a lot more than goes into making gear safe than "adding CE padding and protection". NBT sends out free sponsored gear all day, but he can't send out a pair to get them tested and earn credibility? Why do you think that is?
