Jake’s fund raiser started late last week. Hasn’t even been an entire week yet. So much world-wide pent up support for Ukraine. US citizen’s wanting to help especially after 6 agonizing months watching Washington political dithering and incompetence. All as Russian attacks killed Ukraine’s people and destroyed critical infrastructure. If we believe in democracy we are obligated to help others who seek democracy as well. There is much soul searching required to get my country back on track; to live up to the dream and the promise. Above all, Ukraine must win!
People in USA could send used trucks directly to Ukraine. It will be a very powerfull and visible sign of support. US trucks just look different from European. And they need transportation in Ukraine.

There is a big world wide support network for Ukraine showing that we do not want to live in a world run on fear and repression. As with all “stories” there is much more! Given past record it seems very likely that Russia will not be able to maintain much momentum in the long term. Logistics in the supply chain are the source of a maintained offensive. It is very early to expect Ukraine, so long starved of supplies, to bring themselves up to their full war potential in the battlefield now supplies seem to be emerging. Hopefully their supply lines are many and varied. And secret!

Ukraine needs to get their draft up and running. Take this spring and summer and be defensive. It is an easier learning tool than going on the offensive. IMO

Ukraine, if it wants to stay as a sovereign country has no choice but to fight. Yes, the West is slow and still bickering to some degree and supply of military material is halfhearted, it needs to be strong and solid. But Ukraine needs to sort out it's corruption and manpower issues. There is need for them to recruit and train many more soldiers than they are producing. No running to foreign countries for military able man. It's their country do defend. Stay strong, Ukraine!
