Hi Quenby! Awesome that you’re expanding into selling on Thred Up. Yes, 30 pounds sure is a lot. You’d need lots of inventory to spare but then we resellers usually have lots to spare! 😅

I did not know about the estimator! That is good to know! Also I didn’t know about Juicy Couture until it was too late lol. I had gotten a few of pieces from my friend. I used ThredUP up as a way of cheap “shipping”. When I was in Cali I got a bunch of jeans like Paige, COH, etc from my sister and law. I send those so me they were heavy plus the Juicy Couture (thinking they won’t keep it but send it back). I send stuff that was mostly free inventory and from the bins thinking they will send the majority back and shipping would be $10.99. That would be cheaper then paying for an extra suitcase on the plane. Well they kept my Juicy Couture!! Hahaha I would have made more money selling it on my own since it was vintage and no cost to me. Had I known about the estimator I would not have send it…good video! I will look up the course.
This is an example of what I love about UA-cam.. There is so much available education on UA-cam. Now you learned about the payment estimator yay!! . Great tips! I usually send in inventory to ThredUP that hasn’t been selling or no interest. I just let it go and let them do what they want with it if they haven’t been able to sell it either.

Thank you for your video. I bought Rebecca’s course & am slowly going through it. I am currently emptying out my closets to send in, but would love to do this as a side hustle. (I’m home in the summer recovering from foot surgery). I’m a full time teacher. I know you said that you’ve been selling on e-bay & (maybe) Poshmark. Where else do you get inventory from? I saw that you ordered from Jomar. Do you actually shop for it or are you just having it delivered to you? I’m curious for when I run out of my own things to sell. Right now I have an embarrassing amount of clothes from gaining, losing, & regaining weight. Way too much. Looking forward to your next video.
That is the way to do it! Sell everything in your house 1st. I sell on ebay and poshmark. I get inventory mostly online these days bc like you, I have another job, so....I need to be smart with my time. I buy from Thredup Rescue Boxes and Jomar Wholesale mostly. I also thrift when I can. I actually shop for things specifically to sell so I can get the best brands that will sell for more $. Keep me posted on your progress. xo Quenby
I’m so thrilled today because a human hair wig I’d ordered online in a weak moment during Covid lockdown… sold for over 700.00 on Posh and the money came through today so I basically got back what If paid. Btw I love wigs and toppers. Anyhow the money is now in my account.. sooo happy. It’s wonderful to be able to sell our “ mistakes” ! 👌
