Hi Gavin, can I just say a massive thankyou for engaging with your audience. I follow many drone pilots and I have communicated with all of them since I got my drone last year. It is very rare any of them reply which totally sucks. Needless to say I no longer listen to them. I always answer every comment from my audience and I am so pleased that you do too. Keep up the good work you are a star best wishes Jon
Great video again. DJI needs to add more quickshots like spiral, but also add the option to continue video recording when the quickshot has ended and drone is returning. Also add some more variations to mastershots and extend video length
Great video! Thanks for your educational video. My Air 3 arrives tomorrow and this video really helped me understand more about the drone and how better to use it. Thanks again.
On the Mastershot, I click the Plus tracking symbol on myself then start it, but instead of basing all the shots around me it just focuses on whatever location I was when I started it... so even though tracking is on me and I start walking, it ignores me and just focuses on the now subject less spot. Why does it give me the subject tracking option if it's just going to ignore it?
Hallo Gavin, sehr schöne Videos + super Erklärungen. Die Möglichkeit der "Umkehr" habe ich bei Quickshots schon öfter genutzt. Das macht Sinn. Viele Grüße aus Deutschland vom "kleinen" Gert
Nice video thank you very much. Can you tell if air 3 allows to shoot quickshot/mastershot in d-log? For both cameras? Thank you very much in advance 😊
Good question! The Mini 3 pro doesn't support it which is really disappointing. And for Air 3 and Mini 3 Pro there are no details around this topic on DJI's website.
@sackerlzement3377 Yes I am one of the disappointed mini 3 pro owners. Having a d-cinelike 10-bit workflow I automatically have to exclude 8-bit quickshots to have a consistent timeline when color grading.....hope Air 3 allows d-log in quickshot but this info is nowhere.... Let's wait for the answer 😊
As a new "droner" Ii found you video very interesting. Once I find a suitable subject, I will apply the effects. I think for me, the most daunting scenario is when the drone does not recognise the obstacles and hits something and is beyond recover. Need to overcome that fear. Thanks for the video, very clear and detailed. I would be curios about your mic setup though. There was a slight delay between your lips and the sound coming out so I assume is done in post ? TA.
Funny how title of this video says create pro drone footage, and first seconds of this video my eyes burned because of over exposure.. xD 1:24 1x optical lens zoomed to 3x.. Beginner mistake, done it myself also. Use 3x optical lens instead for better quality. :P
Are you able to adjust the speed at all with Dronie and Rocket etc? I know you can do it in post but was wondering if you could adjust the speed from the RC.
How do from Yorkshire .. Do you know if the new update for the dji rc is working as it should be or should I hold off !! Can’t do owt at the moment as it’s still pissing it down up here !!!
Hey! Nice capture ❤ i have a question sir. If I will do the mastershot/ quick shot, do I need to manually set the drone higher than the trees/tall buildings? Or will drone do it by itself (self detect the obstruction)? Thank you
Air 3 has been out for a while now. Many firmware fixes and updates so it should be more refined by now. Still think I will wait for the Air 3s if and when it comes out. Still not sure why DJI did not update the camera, etc. Love watching all the Air 3 capabilities though. Thanks for sharing.
Nice video, and thanks so much to learn with this drone! What i was noticing is you seen to switch from normal camera to x3 while it's still recording video. I've tried on mine but i have to stop recording then switch camera and then start video recording again, am i missing something ?
I have a doubt about the Air 3. 4K/60fps HDR. Is this function automatic? Because on the mini 3 pro it clearly says HDR if you record in 24-30 fps. But with the Air 3 no such visible option is available. I just got my Air 3 yesterday. So does it record HDR automatic? Or do I need to change anything?
Boomerang is cool, man... Awesome demo and wow, you picked the perfect place to do this... the graffiti was a little off putting though... lol You definitely got some great results...
hahaha! i know, to be honest I forgot it was there ! it is cool I just rarely use it to be honest! ha hope youre well my friend! keep up the great work
Well Gavin as usual that was brilliant now i don't know weather to part with my Air 2s and Mini 3 pro and get the Air 3 what a problem to have i love the mini 3pro as i film a lot at nature reserves don't know if the Air 3 would be to noisy ?regards Dave
I wouldn’t say so Dave no, by the way I still watch your videos. Truthfully the mini 3 is very quiet but the air 2 isn’t overly bad at all and certainly quieter than the air 2s!
Great video that Gav although its given me Drone envy as a mini 2 pilot. Its brilliant footage and i did pause it, checking if my eyes were seeing that graffiti correctly. 😂. I wish the mini 2 had some more features like spotlight etc as i am not a fan of 3rd party apps unless you can recommend any. Keep up the good work pal
Hi Andrew, have you ever checked out my series on litchi!? It’s a great piece of software which massively improved the functionality of the mini 2, of course it carries rick but being careful it’s amazing. I have a full playlist on it you can check out! Oh and I know haha!
Love the video . Would love to see a tutorial or explanation of how you sync your audio with video from the drone. I have a idea but can’t get it perfect
CLAP! seriously :) i just fly the drone infront of me and clap, it creates a soundwave for the audio and as i see my hands touch I know to start the audio there
@@peterkarpati I very very rarely use ND filters for anything. If you are doing long exposure photos then yes but generally with drone videos you are too far away from objects to ever get the motion blur effect. ND filters are something all these UA-camrs will tell you that you need but I generally go against the grain and be honest
@@peterkarpati if you was filing fast moving objects and flying close to cars and stuff then maybe it would look a bit more natural if you was close up but when we fly drones at relative heights there is no motion to be had
Good question, but here's an issue I had with a gopro, live in Arizona, summer temps run about 112 degrees, running at 4k 60fps the recording (camera) started to heatup and then stopped. Then went to 1080p 30fps the recordings lasted longer. So depending on where you are filming the temp may dictate your settings. Just a opine.
4K 60 doesn’t mean highest “quality.” It means highest resolution at the highest frame rate. 60fps will produce a much different look in moving objects than 24fps, which will look much more natural and organic. 60fps is also used to produce slow motion footage in post. And yes, 4K 60 will take up a lot more memory space as the files will be much bigger. So choose your frame rate based on what your image needs to convey.
Awesome video! Very easy to catch on... FYI, someone drew a d**k at the top of the tower... On a serious note, obstacles... does the Air 3 avoid obstacles when it is going sideways?
Nice work mate i did have a chuckle at some of the graffiti on the tower anyway that's my childish humour keep them coming mate
haha I know! I should of used the other lighthouse really!
Thank you sis, it's really amazing. I like the way you explain it, greetings from Indonesia.

When using this feature, if there is an object blocking the drone's flight, can the drone automatically avoid it?
Obstacle avoidance works whilst using quickshots yes 👍

Why does your microphone not pick up the noise of the drone? I refer to the beginning of the video. How far in front of you is the drone?
Some mics have the ability to tune the noise out or to edit it out completely in post
adobe voice enhancer is a dream for this sort of thing!
