- I finally get around to working on the E36 again. I test fit my turbo manifold, shoot some flames, and do a OBD2 header conversion. There's going to be a ton of videos coming soon so stay tuned!

but you have the internet at your disposal... live on forums and youtube. I didnt even know how to change oil when i was 16, but i'm slowly learning. Also try to get some tools, and just go to junkyards and take cars apart.

Just found this channel by chance.. Looking forward to seeing this build take place. Would love to see the full turbo installation etc. Subscribed and will be keeping a watchful eye on this. Would also love to see this car restored. That colour is beautiful. Maybe one day I'll be able to turbo my E46 325ti compact if the price can stay relatively low! 😊

That manifold is a bottom mount I’m using it on my m54b25 in my e39 It says top mount but a lot of guys did the same just flipped it and it fixed the problem lol

Hey Austin, I watch all of your videos and this 325 is becoming a badass drift car. Can you tell me wich diff ratio are you using? I have a friend with the exact same model of yours but his one was originaly a automatic imported from germany with a manual gearbox swap and he thinks his diff isn't good for drifting.
Thanks and I currently run a 3.15. I'm actually switching to a 3.91 soon (what your friend should have). They're great for drifting but the close gearing makes it a bit obnoxious at highway speeds.+Breno Silva

It's not an egr port. It's the secondary air injection Orr for emissions upon first start up.

Yes but it never hurts to upgrade something in the meantime. Plus, I wanted to pull the headers so I could test fit the turbo manifold anyways. Truthfully I'm just ready to start the turbo build though.

you could get an e36 M3 header though...cause i use an M3 header for my 328i

M50 manifolds are better than m52 because they tend to crack in the heat and cold (m52)

luis lopez Get a chip from ebay, ebay headers, and a three inch exhaust. You should see some notable power gains. Yeah people will give you crap for ebay headers but I've had mine for about a year now and they are holding up.

How do you always spin first and second with 141 horsepower? You don't have to dump the clutch everytime you shift.
Well the car comes stock with 189hp, and I also have a Dinan performance chip clone that adds a wee bit more (and let's me rev out to 7k). Combine that with the car being completely stripped out, and it makes for quite the little tire shredder.
Austin Ferguson oh is it an m52? Love the videos by the way! My buddy has a 325 that can barely spin 1st. But he lets the clutch out quite slowly.
dont understand why you changed m50 to smaller headers diameter m52? while they both was out you could see that m50 are bigger, thats means better gas flow on higher rpm....

the exhaust sounds great! I assume 1994 doesn't require emissions test here in NC. I have an 88 Toyota and want to get rid of the catalytic converter, but not sure if you have to have it for safety inspection.
