well, every truck becomes unstable if you drive them NFS style ;)
It's funny how so many drive like they have a race to win, they need to slow down and relax, take in the game.
I drove a dump truck in NFS Carbon
If they can't drive a truck without tipping it constantly... I pray they give up driving and turn in their licenses 😆
Speeeeeeeddd is key!
@@davidclark6133 one of my fav cars in carbon
Now make a most stable vehicles XD
Hey im the second viewer in this video
With this driving style ther wont be stable Truck i think haha.
@@phoenixsui lol
I have some idea of what would likely be included in that list. Not sure what order they’d be in, but I’ll list the top ten vehicles that impressed me the most with their stability. Some of these might just seem stable to me because they’re slow, but there are others here that I value highly because of how well they stay on their wheels at speed.
White Western Star 4964
TUZ 420 “Tatarin”
Caterpillar 745C
DAN 96320
Caterpillar TH357 (with fork held low)
AZOV 73210
AZOV 5319
International Loadstar
Pacific P16
Voron AE-4380
I still need to try some other vehicles. I have a feeling the KOLOB siblings will be pretty impressive, but haven’t used either before.
Its a feat to roll the tuz420 tatarin
80% of these trucks flippiness can be solved simply by slowing down....many of the trucks listed are very fast and we all know that snow runner does not like any fast vehicle.
I said it in the beggining that I intentionally fliping the trucks but that doesn't mean they're not unstable...there's a problem and that's all i want to say in video and BTW it's my opinion, what I felt
Most of these trucks I've never flipped kodiak and voron D are only 2 that give me problems.
Some yeah, but there are times I have the gears in LOW - and the it still flips ... The PAYSTAR is one such truck .. I have flipped it many times going slow ..VERY unstable truck ..
@@davehart7943 Fucking raised suspension...
Some of us got loads to deliver 😲
Everyone's commenting like they didn't even read the first few seconds of the video
The actual footage is probably just meant to be a show, not an accurate representation of what it's like to drive these trucks
Did you know that even stable trucks will rollover when you go off-roading or go in circles at full speed, it’s just physics that every truck will obey
Additional note: he did actually state that he will be intentionally flipping the vehicles as examples, and that it’s based in n his experience but you can flip any truck like that, I flipped 8x8 Azovs a lot of times, although SD1ONE considered it a stable truck and I still agree with that, I was just too inconsiderate, as I said, all trucks will obey physics. And the “based on experience” part, I completely agree, all of the trucks on the list are unstable, I but it’s kinda over exaggerated to high hell and it’s not shown accurately. And I’m not here to criticize SD1ONE, he is making awesome content, and he helped me out a lot with Mud-runner and Snowrunner, and he is making amazing gta content, so keep it up SD1ONE 👍👍
Absolutely agreed, strange top.
I AM THE SECOND VIEWER IN THIS VIDEO
same thought with you here
Yes but it's also true that some trucks have higher center of gravity by design like the Western Twinsteer. This truck is hopeless I swear I will never use it anymore.
Nah the trucks in the video are really unstable to begin with. Most trucks just tend to drift and lose the rear end instead of catching and flipping like they do in this video
The ANK has excellent ground clearance even just naturally. You don't need the extra tall suspension on it. Run it with regular suspenion upgrade and either dual rear tires or Tayga tires (both increase stability and are better then a single rear tire) and the ANK can be some what decent.
that's why it's low in list
Quit driving 25 mph around curves and the raised is fine.
i love the ANK its my personal favorite
Active suspension, lower for off-road and raise on roads (to drastically reduce damage taken when driving at high speeds). Works well enough that I used it for quite a few missions, and I generally steer clear of any tippy vehicles.
I second that. I use the Civilian one with either a saddle or the fuel tank, active suspension and duals/tayga singles, and rarely have any issues.
“Top ten unstable trucks”
me thinking mk38 is going to be in here
mk38 is the video picture
Me: 😂
YO IM THE SECOND VIEWER
I thought it is no.1, turns out it's 9, almost got kicked out of the list. And F2070A, NO.10
@@junitobalio2896 no one gives a damn
Actually, mk38 is very stable IMHO, just dont install raised suspension on it. It gives absolutely no advantages on offroad for mk38.
@@MrGeraskin true, also it has crazy acceleration which only gets you in trouble if you don't respect it
The point about Fleetstar, the Twinsteer and ANK is you all just cannot drive it
if vehicle is fast, doesnt mean it's good at going offroad or curves fast.
Yeah they all try driving it like a damn lamborghini and do the pikachu surprised face when the truck cannot do that as expected lmao
Come on, its fun having high range on the twinsteer while on icy road turns and getting it to drift
@@swagmasteryolo6259 Yeah but complaining about the truck itself being "shit" after having done that is simply stupid...
Nothing wrong with having fun, as long as everything stays reasonable!
With the twin steer you do need to plan your approach a bit more cautiously than with some other trucks though, like with the Bandit uneven terrain is not something it seems to like, especially with a heavy load. then again it's length seems to be the primary issue there and is something that can be dealt with for the great 4 slot carrying capacity.
The ank is good for affroad
I've been using the ZiKZ for the new Long Log hauling missions. It's surprisingly capable and stable, and doesn't use fuel too fast. I think the log load being closer to the front wheels than with most trucks really helps it. It has no problem hauling long logs out of the logging site at Black River, all the way across Smithville Dam (never got stuck in the swamp), to the sawmill at Island Lake. Deeper mud might require a tow, but a Kolob can take care of that easily.
this man helped me more in snowrunner than the entire codex, thanks
I also found that the CK1500 is really unstable with the raised suspension, it tips over the first chance it gets, too.
Doesn't matter with autonomous winch.
@@calvincharlie703 actually it matters. As for me the merit is how fast truck does the job. Any turnover takes huge amount of time ) And you have always have a choise to drive right in the middle of puddle or try to go over with risk of tipping.
The bandit always flips whenever I drive it
True. sold mind
Same
Yep
For me it nice truck, flip just one time when I stuck in difficult place with rocks. Hard to imagine how to flip it, especially with tayga tires.
Owerall many of these trucks pretty stable, can't understand why they in these top.
Put the maintenance fuel attachment on it and the stability is great! The frame articulation is intense but it is a massive difference in stability. It's my rescue vehicle. Goes anywhere and stays on its wheels pretty good
If you drive off-road at full speed, and take sharp turns, trucks Will roll. It's quite a realistic game physics wise. Trucks are not meant to be driven like racing cars and the entire game is about precision driving
On road and empty, trucks wont tip over even at high speed, but loaded and offroad, when the tires dig down into the ground and it acts almost like a rail, obviously itll tip over, even happens with normal cars.
Read the first 5 sec of the video and you will see why he did that
I had my worst experiences with International Paystar 5070 (even at low speed), with and (even) without raised suspension.
Nah bro i can drive the pay star anyday
*drives truck off side of hill*
“This truck’s balance sucks”
I see you're not a reader.
I knew the bandit was gonna be here, I use it all the time because it’s my favourite truck but it falls over all the time
I love the Scout 800 but you have to drive It slow.
I think the Scout would be a good deal more stable if the game allowed you to use softer springs with it, allow it more axle flex. Unfortunately that isn't an option, at least not yet anyway.
@@oengusfearghas9608 Or keep the extra gas into the car instead of the roof.
@@pilot_xoan For the most part I use other scouts, especially a couple mod ones that I love. One because I own the IRL counterpart and the other is one I want to own IRL.
@@oengusfearghas9608 That's cool! I would like to have my real life car in the game.
I like the Scout desing so I use It a lot.
Which are those 2 mods you use?
@@pilot_xoan One is called XJ Sport 88 (2 door Jeep XJ Cherokee) the other is C.C.M. Kaiser-Jeep M715 (Jeep M715 military truck). Within the game neither of them seem OP to me compared to the base game scout range, both perform well but not unrealistically better than the base game comparable vehicles in the class. Though the in-game price for the XJ seems rather steep when compared to similar vehicles within the game.
Scout 800 I very unstable with roofrack. The footage: jumps from a hill and "somehow" falls over. Brilliant, mate
Lesson learned never go too fast to not get flipped
notice how every truck he's using either high or automatic lol
@@theunhingedgamer3762 yeah
That lesson would not help with AZOV Antarctic. It would flip without any speed at all )))
Great) Next is Top 10 Most Stable Trucks.
Tatarin, 2x Kolob, Cat 770, P16 AZOV 73210 should be top5 definetely ;-)
I have exactly never had any problem with the Royal BM-17 flipping over. Only twice and that was just because of my own stupidity
I don’t understand some of these on this list like the bm-17 is an amazing truck I’ve never flipped it
well I have bad experience with royal in Alaska...I was hauling a 5 slot semi trailer loaded and at one point royal just keep flipping over and over...I was so frustrated and that's how it get spot on my list....but it's based on my experience, my opinion...if you like it use it... don't listen to me or anyone
@@SD1ONE don't worry I was just giving my opinion. I use it as one of my main American trucks, but the lack of diff-lock is sometimes a little struggle
Royal is such a beast, it almost never gets stuck. But sometimes it can really pick up speed, too much even sometimes.
Hm, for me, your honourable mention is my #1. Twinsteer and Zikz are unstable by design, but still can be made to work if you drive carefully and leave away the raised suspension on the twinsteer and stick with the 55" Tires. Zikz performs passable if you use it with a saddle and 5-slot sideboard trailer, cures a lot of its bounciness and was my way of getting that achievement for transporting 10 units of goods with it.
The Bandit on the other hand... while those other two simply are somewhat incapable, the Bandit imo is downright malicious! I mostly drove (past tense, not using that bugger anymore) it in Low+ and yet still it tipped all the time, even with the Tayga tires. It feels to me like a horse that's not quite trained to the saddle yet, that will reluctantly tolerate its rider, just waiting for him to let his attention slip for a moment, then toss him and take off. Other trucks can get you into trouble, Bandit WANTS to get you into trouble!
The only way for me to ever get fun out of this particular Truck was if I had the chance to take it in the middle of a parking lot, toss in a grenade and watch it burn until it's reduced to a smoldering frame.
The one of these that I have had the most issue with personally is the Bandit, then again out of this list it is one of the ones I have used more. the primary issue I've had with it is the chassis seems overly flexy and with a heavy load/add-on it can damn near twist to a 90 degree angle, which on uneven terrain even at low speeds can cause it to flop on it's side with ease.
So glad it's not just me with the D53233!
If anybody here thinks that his list is wrong then you clearly haven't been playing for long. Ive been here since launch, and I wholeheartedly agree with this assessment
SD1ONE : posts a video .
Me : still waiting for Transtar vs CLT 9000.
Plzzz I want this battle since summer .
man I am waiting for them to get awd or something... they're too weak to test
I know but we all know that they didn't have awd or diff. lock. . Oh yes and SD1ONE . I am watching you since mudrunner . 🙂 . I like this vids but...... When was your mudrunner era your vids were better : Bob , good music , great explenations of mods , great challenges . Nower days your vids are pretty good but pretty boring .
I wish someone would make a debadged mod for the CLT. If I knew how to make mods I'd make one myself.
I have a hate/love relationship with the twinsteer… Its a beast and can carry a lot of cargo but it constantly wants to roll over. This truck teached me quick winch reflexes :D
Every truck would be unstable if you followed Jeremy Clarkson's advice of speed and power.
The twin steer is my favourite truck in the game. Very tippy but so damn powerful and useful.
Totally agree! Sometimes even a tweaked version mods from these trucks are bad, despite of BM17 in my opinion, which is a beast.
SD1ONE: "These trucks are so unstable!"
Also SD1ONE: *Speeding them through uneven terrain and doesn't show any footage of the trucks in low gear*
Можно сказать что в целом эта игра по борьбу не с бездорожьем а с заваливанием на бок. Застрять не так-то просто, надо место поискать, а научится сбавлять скорость и не падать, это то чему учишься очень очень много часов игры.
Reliant Robin he says🤣, that is too funny. I’m surprised the Freightliner 114SD didn’t make your list.
Came here after flipping my Bandit.... again.
Ive only flipped it once....and ive used it a lot...did you use the taiga tires?
Watch the bending of the frame to get a feel for when it's about to flip and you need to back up and reapproach the slope
100% agree on 2070A ans the Bandit. I first noticed the 2070A after I put upgraded engine in it, seemed as if the rear end started breaking loose more often.
The Bandit with tayga tires and maintenance frame add-on is like my mobile truck stop in maps that doesn't have a garage or trailer store. It goes anywhere and I hardly get stuck in deep mud.
With it, I can repair my other trucks in a pinch and get them topped up with fuel so they can keep going longer. Then once supplies have run low, I just recover the Bandit back to the nearest garage and drive back to the previous location with no issues.
It does like to tip to it's side on very uneven terrain, that's why you have to be smart on choosing your "supply routes".
The twinsteer is no joke my favorite truck in game, mainly because there is no trailer for me to go and clean up, so I can drop off my stuff and recover without leaving my trash everywhere
The Royal BM 17 is one of my favourite trucks, as it can go anywhere, pulling anything.
It needs lockers really bad in my opinion.
I honestly got the Antarctic just for the Steam achievement, drove it around a bit to see if I liked it, absolutely hated the inconsistent steering rate (the way it snaps to the side when closer to facing straight forward, then turns slower from greater turn angles back toward center), and proceeded to sell it. I make an exception for the Western Star Twinsteer because not needing a trailer makes it useful enough that I just drive it carefully. As for the Bandit, I find that the crane is the difference between it being one of the best offroad trucks I own, and flipping easily. I almost never flip it, even with cargo, if I don't have the crane equipped. As soon as I equip the crane and the sideboard bed, it will flip as soon as the ground gets uneven or there's soft mud on the outside of a turn but not the inside, even if I'm using low gear and being careful. It has trained me to always be aware of nearby trees, and lightning fast winching reflexes to attach it to a tree as soon as it begins to tip. I don't like that KRS crane. The anchors don't extend far enough to effectively stabilize it on uneven or soft terrain when collecting cargo in hard-to-reach places for tasks. I find I actually prefer to use the Tatra Force for such tasks (as long as it can reach the cargo, turn around, and get out of that spot), even if it turns like a barge, just because it's more stable and has a better crane.
The benefit of Fleetstar being a starter truck that’s unstable is it teaches the player the importance of slowing down and driving more carefully across unstable terrain.
As a twinsteer main I’m surprised it’s on the list, cuz I’ve never managed to flip it
Nice one mate. Best truck in the game for me.
Hey now I love the twin steer
A couple of the trucks you have mentioned , I myself have not had an issue with at all, why ?? Let me think I controlled them properly and I didn't take corners at full speed
I agree with pretty much all your selection. I think its fair to say that all the 4 wheeled trucks (not scouts) are very bouncy, and because of that they tend to tip over more easily. I play the D-53233 a lot and it hasn't yet aggravated me to the point I would consider it unstable but who knows maybe one day I will see it diferently!! :)
it does that with crane or any other heavy addon...I liked it's performance but it's a bouncy boi
@@SD1ONE AWWW that makes sense. I almost never use the crane unless I really have to or I let my team mate carry it :P
i love the zikz 5368 i use it with fifth wheel pulling semi flatbed (5 load) no problem with it , only train tracks is the enemy :)
Try go on Khan Marshall on high speed on offroad, not in mud
The truck on the first place is (in real life) a Maz 500 series. I saw (in real life) at one of my local airports, three Maz 5335 TS-500 (tanker for planes) which were buildit in 1988 and one Zil 131. Two of the Maz trucks were looking almost brand new but the Zil and the third Maz truck were abandoned and were looking crapy. Those 2 remaining Maz trucks are still used today.
Das war sehr hilfreich. Danke. Wie könnte ich nur so blind sein mit dem Azov Antarctica🤪
Nice 😁👌
Fleetstar 2070 is my favorite little starter runabout, sure there are better options, but it holds a special place for me
The Zikz is a badass scouting truck in my honest opinion. It feels to small for other tasks but I am sure ppl are able to haul with it.
Nice video
Oh great - I've not been playing this game long and I use the Bandit a lot but it's forever tipping over and I have to be really careful when driving it. If these others are worse then it looks like it's all downhill performance-wise (no pun intended) from now on. Great videos though as usual. Well done.
Ank is kinda my personal fav ❤️
That included every trucks i currently use🤣🤣 maybe i should sell some… the Fleestar is my heavy crane truck🤣
I thought the Khan Lo4f scooby doo van would be nr1 for sure, but you didnt even mention it xD
The krs bandit becomes leagues more stable by simply repositioning the crane over the bed.
The chassis twists as part of the suspension, and the crane stops the cab from having full movement. And puts more weight higher up over the cab, where there is already a ton of weight.
Without the crane it becomes far more stable, to the point I would use it for many tasks and utility jobs as a loader and hauler
Agreed. I use this setup too and it's much better.
So far I've only rolled the fleetstar once. It was loaded, and was trying to slowly get around a turn on a hill that encouraged rolling.
*Rolls truck on 60 degree slope* "BaLaNcE fEeLs A bIt OfF"
I agree with the international scout and twin steer, but other than that I've never flipped the rest of em and havent noticed anything wrong
The cranes make you top heavy and who the hell drives like that anyway lol
I couldn't agree more
Zikz
Alternative title-vehicle flipping montage
I haven't seen somebody make compression for trailers. both 2-axle sideboard trailer and 4-axle flatbed trailer have 2 slots of cargo, how different are they? Which one is easy to tow in hard terrain?
Youre damn right the Twinsteer is unstable. But that stil the favorite child lmao
I used Twinsteer a lot, and it's awesome 😎, flips ones or twice. But yes, luck of addons.
I agree. Great video.
The Twinsteer surprised me. How on earth does a vehicle flip while sliding on ice!? That's awful.
Well if youre going fast sideways on ice and it suddenly gets really good grip and it'll happen faster than an unexpected jack knife
With the Scout you really have to choose between the lift kit or the roof rack. It’s fine as long as you’re only running one or the other. The good news is that unless you have to deal with deep water it’s small size and light weight mean it can usually drive around anything other than deep water.
Lol I was watching and I was like "I hope the bandit ain't make it in here" when I saw it I was like aaaaaah sssssshit lol, still decent truck tho,I almost be using at on scouts AT TIMES,AWESOME video 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I particularly only had slight problems with the ANK, but they were few, with the Bandit I had problems for a long time, but after I got used to it, I never overturned it, the Antartic never had problems, I don't know why they say it's too unstable, you just have to know where you can or can't go with it
I find the fleetstar pretty damn stable tbh . Just dont be taking corners with a load in high gear pretty simple. You wouldnt be going that fast in real life around corners lol.
Fleetstars problem is that the crane weighs more than truck, shifting COG way up. It's so bad it makes it basically unusable with a crane, but the crane is the only reason you'd use it in the first place because it can do crane+bed+trailer while not being particularly good at offroading or pulling.
I love how he says these trucks are unstable but when he's driving them on side of rocks
the Zikz is just so fun to use tho
Would you like to test Kolob 74760 again but this time with active suspension?
it's best super heavy truck now period
C70 is great as an extra scout with no attachments and for light loads but putting a heavy load on that one, I always flip. Ill make it through a tight spot and flip on a rookie spot. One of my fave trucks but my god... no fun haha
I can live with the western star twinsteer azov 42 20 tipping they are fairly easy to tip back I'm surprised the tux 16 acteon didn't make the list though these trucks are very enjoyable
"Deja Vu, I've rolled my truck before, up higher on the ridge"
With the Twinsteer there is an updated mod wider tires more add ons more horsepower just an absolute monster!!
All this video did is make me want a reliant robin in game as a scout to flip around
thats why I use the FleetStar only with standard Suspension - makes it WAY more stable - and ground clearance is still okay for Michigan
the thing that I dislike at the AZOV is that its nearly undrivable without diffLock meaning you allways go in L-gear, one axle allways spins otherwise
Scout 800 is horror due to flip overs; the voron wasn a big issue for me
I think both of the TUZ-Trucks have the same problem, I flipped the TUZ16 a hundret times on Kola - thankfully it has autonomous winch! Same for the Ford with the highest suspension, tippy as hell!
This got me thinking. You can put wide tires on a truck, just smaller if it not raised. Would it be better against flipping if you use smaller tires but lower ride height vs the bigger tires higher height?
"like last time, it's tall and narrow so it sucks"
*drives into an orphanage*
Always turn into the roll
Yes. I agree so much with this, saved me a million times.
@@herobrinesbudy I ended up drifting a 9 slot road train with this once lmfao
You are the best
Truck manager: you done trucked it up!!!!
My 5 favorite trucks in SR are P16 / Azov / Boar / International Paystar / Ford 9000
I got so sick & tired of the 4220 that I refused to use it, despite it being the strongest engine & the biggest tires.
And so, the potentially best truck is not useable.
But, one mod got it right, the Iceberg which not only stabilized the 4220 but also fixes its steering. I use this mod instead of the vanilla 4220.
I found that the other way to fix the 42-20 steering is to use a wheel with force feedback, which makes it oddly precise. It's still unstable as all hell and ironically useless on ice, but it takes a lot of mud and snow to stop it.
Royal BM-17
I still have nightmares because of that truck...holly crap I have fliped so many times with that crap... it's unbelievable
The bandit is very stable for me
Great vid. Are you going to make a 'most stable' video?
maybe.... but not anytime soon
To be fair, the heavier a vehicle is made, the less effective the springs will be, and alot of trucks actually bottom out just by having the fuel cistern added to them. You did that Kodiak dirty lmao
Voron D has become one of my favourite trucks and it's not a easy roller. Again, use dual rears not single rears. Although personally I don't run with cranes on my trucks either, that helps as cranes make all trucks more tippy. The Bandit and Azov 10X10 are the only two trucks in the game I've got a crane on. And I only have a crane on the Bandit because it's the best packing crane in the game.
literally Voron with double tire, and low suspension is unflipable
@@katogergo4710 The Western Star Twin Steer is also a lot more stable in that setup. Lowered suspension and dully 55' OHD's. It's still a pretty capable truck.
The Krs Bandit has a little more power compared to Khan scout, sadly the Bandit suffers badly from instability. I experienced it flipping too many times even cautious and slow
3:24 I use this truck alot and it has never flipped idk if it got buffed but its really good one of the best trucks I have in the garage though it needs a little bit of help with hills offroad and idk if this is a different truck that I use but its good witha. Flatbed and crane and sometimes trailers make it more stable i think but if you get used to unstable trucks they kinda become more stable
I think the Fleetstar has bugged suspension. Once, I was driving it with an empty bed, and I came to a minor uphill with a small bump at the top. As I went over the bump, the truck's front end lifted much higher than it should have, and it started bouncing. I stopped moving to let it settle; it bounced straight up one more time, then bounced violently to the side and flipped. There is no reason I can think of that the last bounce was stronger than the first two.
With the way you are driving, you could have put every single vehicle in the game in this video.
I run that last one as my scout its small flippy but strong if u keep it light
lmao it will flip first chance it gets....funny but tru.. i also noticed that most of these trucks will self aim at poles and trees at higher speeds..lol
