Hey Chris, yes you. Do you know how special you guys are? Do you know how good you make us feel? Do you know how much we appreciate you for your kind words and always thinking about us. Well you make the world a better place. Your kind words mean a lot to us, you made someone’s day. Oh wait I need to stop and press the like button. 😂 See you next time and safe travels.
I absolutely ❤ the fact that you share parts of Disneyland (almost) nobody else shares 🎉 I would love if you could take us to Club 33 after your amazing 21 Royal experience 😊 Thank you so much Chris for these insights and inspiration 👑 I’m also looking forward for the new rethemed Tiana New Orleans Square together with the rethemed Slash Mountain 💦🏔️
Chris and Amanda, When New Orleans Sq. first opened this shop was called Le Gourmet. You could purchase all kinds of hard to find ( back then) culinary items and small jars of spices. I'm surprised that theres no Tiana cookbook for sale. Where the cast member stands at 13:30 in the video. In the late 60's and 70's from time to time you would find Brer Fox and Brer Bear in the exact same spot. A sort of unanounced meet and greet long before there was such a thing. In the summertime evenings when D/Land opened to 1a.m. before the fireworks the 2 charactors would stop by here as a little extra. They were the only charactors who performed late into the evening. Cheers, Chris Perry.
You ought to take a vacation to New Orleans and visit both the tourist traps and some of the locals-only haunts. You would get a greater appreciation of Princess and the Frog and this shop, and New Orleans Square in general. :)
Thank you so much. I really love that Disneyland is getting back into "exclusive" shops. It's was always special to our family to have special "you can only get it here" shops of years ago. We are coming to back Disneyland again after Christmas! We will be meeting with our Army fam (son, daughter-in-love and 2 little grandsons) to spend the holidays together.💙 So excited. I will keep watching you guys and make a list of what we need to see, eat and do! Thank again you two❤❤
Cafe' Du Monde Brings back memories. Love the beignet scented Mickey Ears. The shop is a really nice touch. I think a new infectious song will emerge from the new attraction. I went there the year the movie came out. They were signing Comin' Down the Bayou from the Mark Twain. It was really cool. I don't blame Amanda being intoxicated by the lovely scents.
Yesterday we rode Star Tours, the one with Leia and Corusant, in the lower left side when you're in the city has a hidden Mickey! ✨ I told my husband I needed to make a comment on Provost Park Pass 😊 I love your tips and the hidden surprises! I relate 100% to Amanda appreciating scented fun! Lol We don'take much time to go in shops, knowing which ones to prioritize is great. ✌️
Oh my…this shop is amazing…I ❤️it…. I would spend a fortune in there. The scented ears look so good.. Oh my I want it all….. Those dolls are outstanding.. Thanks for another interesting off the beaten track Disneyland video… You always do great alternative things, that most bloggers seem to either miss or doubt know about……👍🇬🇧
Would you ever consider doing a new tour of the California versions of City Walk and Downtown Disney? Whenever I look for videos of that I wind up getting Florida stuff. I absolutely love how you do walking tours tours. I'm a bit of an anxious person and find them to be really helpful before going on trips.
The green glass plates are called depression glass and after they made the first Superman movie with Christopher Reeve they realized that they had to use that in Superman's cave so now it's known as kryptonite
The Yellow coffee and chicory cans are a common sight in south Louisiana grocery stores. It's the signature coffee served at Cafe du Monde. Good for Disney doing their research.
Thank you for your videos, hits the feels most of the time. I'm a new dad and the magic of Disney has been re awakened for me thanks to that and watching your videos help sooth the need to almost live at Disneyland.
It was so awesome to see the café Dumond coffee behind you I went there when I was younger it was a trip i never for get. Lol saw my very First cross dresser in New Orleans ooh fun tip Café Dumont is where you go get your beignets
I love that shop!! I'm definitely buying the ears & a can of the Cafe du Monde coffee and the hot sauce looks really good too! I have a New Orleans themed kitchen, so all of that will look nice on display. ❤🎭
I ate at dooky chase in New Orleans which the owner Leah chase was the inspiration for the move princess and the frog. The restaurant is called Dukes in the movie. I have a pic from Disney thanking her for her inspiration for the movie
Dude! Beignet ears are awesome, but you're buried the lead! They've brought back Cafe du Monde chicory coffee!!! I'm tellin' ya, Eudora's is the reincarnation of both One-of-a-Kind store & Le Gourmet (they both used to exist in the store next to Pieces of Eight). The chandeliers are right out of OoaK Shop and the big brass pots and pans are from Le Gourmet. And they've brought back beignet mix. I wonder if there's Aunt Sallies Prailines, too? This place is amazing! I've missed that Cafe du Monde coffee for a long, long time. So, so happy to see that it is back after all these years!
I LOVE Eudora's shop. When we were at Dland in December, I bought two of the softest, cutest winter hats in there! (same hat, one in grey, one in ivory!)
As always Amanda an Chris thank you for another enlightening Vlog! You too always put so much dedication into showing a lot of park goers the hidden gems, tips and facts! Your energy, humor and caringness is top tier in my books! And I'm loving the funny songs at the end the videos LOL
Our 7 year old absolutely LOVES Mardi Gras (bc of the beignets and beads) so he was totally enthralled by this video. He really wishes he could smell those Mickey ears! 😂
I collect uranium glass. I have a cabinet full of it and having it glow bright green when the black light hits it is amazing. Yes I'm aware it's somewhat radioactive, it's not used aside from display and it's not near the main living area
Huh... the Café du Monde stuff was EVERYWHERE in New Orleans. I went to the Café du Monde in New Orleans and it was... good I guess. But the powdered suga was stupidly ridiculous. EVERYTHING was sticky it wasn't fun and beignets are better without the mountain of sugar on it. I visited the workshop where they make Mardi Gras floats while in New Orleans, it was pretty fun! Could be something to consider for one of your videos one day.
Thanks so much for this! As someone who love’s beignets and has gone to Downtown for these at Ralph Brennan’s with my daughter on my birthday it is wonderful to see the ears, tee-shirts, etc.
Thank you Chris and Amanda for this video! I love the shop and pop in there sometimes but had no idea of everything it offers! I’ll have to make a special visit to the store next time we’re there.
Thank you to the Amazing Chris and Amazing Amanda...thank you for your positive message and playful way you do your posts.. Amanda...you go on smelling things all you want..and Chris...you just keep filming her buddy!
Ok, now I have to get those beignet ears 🙈 Thank you so much for this video! Princess and the frog is one of my favorite Disney movies and I loved Eudora's store! I'm SO glad I subscribed! You guys are the BEST 💕🌟 One more thing: now every time I watch a video on UA-cam, I keep hoping you'll pop up and sing a song about it 🤣
Woah I really want that conversion spatula do you think it would come off in the dishwasher? I also want the magnet anyways. I love love love uranium glass as well I will ne sure to go check those out when I im there in may👏👏👏👏👏
Great tour ! Love these kinds of videos, next time I’m at the park this will be a stop on my list, my Minnie ear collection needs a new pair 🥰🥰 Thanks to your beautiful wife I’ll be coming home with a candle too ❤ Hugs and love from my family to yours
Just a little suggestion on pronunciation of beignet. Ben yay. ( it sounds like you’re saying bin yay). Yay for beignets ! Thank you for the shop tour!
Hello Chris!! This is very new to me and it looks really awesome. It's great that Tiana is getting a new attraction dedicated to her, great move Disney. Thank you for the kind words as always, it means a lot to me right now because I'm dealing with Covid 19. I've been going through a lot lately and I'm glad to have you in my life.
HOW is it that I’m in the parks the same day as you guys 😢 I was literally in this store on Tuesday /Monday and bought that cook book! Disney eats it’s so adorable
I hope you have fun at Disney Tokyo Resort! And I hope you go check out other stuff around Tokyo. SEGA Joypolis on Odaiba is pretty fun, and next door is the 1-Daiba Shotengai which is a reproduction of a 60's (or so) shopping street. Try to get tickets to Team Lab Planets!
Hey Chris!! Thank you for this! I really needed cheering up, my dog is at the ER right now and I've been very worried. You are such a bright, kind, and uplifting person and I truly can't thank you enough!
Chris, do you if their going to change or retheme the Blue Bayou to a restaurant themed for Tiana's Bayou Adventure? I took my wife to the Blue Bayou in 12’ or 13’, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the quality of the food and restaurant overall.

Such a fun store! I hope they include something that includes Tiana and Lottie’s friendship.

Love a shop tour, this did not disappoint. I’m used to just seeing new merch updates but full shop tours are soo much better 😊

Chris, the gumbo "base" is the seasoning for the soup. You still need the rice, chicken, shrimp, crab, sausage, onions, peppers and lots of love.🍲 😋
Hi Chris, What a great new addition to New Orlean’s square. I can’t wait to see it !! Thanks for sharing with us. 💜🎉💜
So cool can’t wait for the restaurant and ride!
I have had the coffee and chicory brand before. My mom brought it to me from New Orleans!
Our 7 year old absolutely LOVES Mardi Gras (bc of the beignets and beads) so he was totally enthralled by this video. He really wishes he could smell those Mickey ears! 😂
Thank you for the few moments you give words of encouragement. They actually mean a lot to me 🥰
Yeah, stopped by Eudora's right before Christmas, and I bought my youngest daughter gumbo bowls, since she collects mugs and stuff. Very nice place.
I collect uranium glass. I have a cabinet full of it and having it glow bright green when the black light hits it is amazing.
Yes I'm aware it's somewhat radioactive, it's not used aside from display and it's not near the main living area
I think Amanda should try on Tiana’s dress
Soo getting that awesome sauce on Sunday

Once Upon a Time’s Rapunzel had natural black curly hair and dark skin! Loved that! Magic hair is having curls!
Starting watching this on my phone and when you pointed out Amanda I was thinking, "Okay, I'll take your word for it." She was less than an inch tall.
Thanks!
Gumbo is best made from scratch, such as by my Grandma.
Thank you for brightening our days with your cheerful enthusiasm. Showing us everything we need to know for our next visit to The "Mouse House"!
Love this charming shop and how you point out all of the fantastic details! 💛💚💜
I have never seen so many details on this place! Thank you very much!!!
Thank you Chris and Amanda for this video! I love the shop and pop in there sometimes but had no idea of everything it offers! I’ll have to make a special visit to the store next time we’re there.
I love the songs at the ends of videos! So hilarious and fun!
What a cute lil shop. I’ve never noticed it before. Definitely need to stop there next trip
Your jokes make me smile 😊
Great, detailed information. Thank you
I'll be in that store next week.

How much is the artwork?
You showed it several times but never mentioned the frog door knocker on the door to the sewing room.

I’m REALLY wanting to go back to Disney. I love watching your videos to get my little Disney fix.
That dress makes me think of Yzma from The Emperor's New Groove
I have never seen New Orleans Square that empty. Nah, it can't be, must be CGI ! :-)
Great video! What a great shop to visit! ❤️ Thank you for sharing.
I am lobbying Disney to make you a tour guide character in one of their upcoming films complete with glasses white shirt and tie.

Chris, did you end up getting all the collectors coins? That was one of the most enjoyable videos, would love an update.
I think a video idea would be cooking some of the mixes at home. What do you think?
Thank you for the upload that looks like the old shop that used to see Christmas ornaments. I might be wrong though.
It was the old gourmet shop in the 90’s and the Mardi Gras shop briefly and a Christmas shop briefly
@@valeriadixon5166 thank you for telling me.
Great job. But why dose Endora not have a pitcher of her late husband?

I don't see Tiana's father's Gumbo pot?
Loved this video! How much is that hot sauce?
Chris, do you if their going to change or retheme the Blue Bayou to a restaurant themed for Tiana's Bayou Adventure?
I took my wife to the Blue Bayou in 12’ or 13’, I was EXTREMELY disappointed with the quality of the food and restaurant overall.
How many Tiana themed restaurants do you think they need in the park?
Howdy!
Hey Chris, do you discover these secrets yourself, hear them from others, read about them- how do you do it?! Lol
Just curious why are the restaurants and shop for princess and the frog so far away from new ride.
