Pretty sure the farm is already there, and I don’t think they can build a new house while being quiet enough, (and tents aren’t really good for long term), there’s also winter time, and since sound travels faster in the cold they gotta worry if the waterfall somehow freezes

I just realised something, how come the shotgun fire attracted the 2 other aliens practically instantly but the fireworks from earlier didn't?
The fireworks were from a distance, so they probably did but no one saw. The monster from the house just ran out and saw the kids on top of the grainery, but ran away when it go too loud. The others didn't find any people at the fireworks so they left
I also wondered why the one breaking a hole in the silo didn't attract more either.

They most likely heard the firrworks from a far and had barely just gotten there. They move fast so they could've been in another state for all we know
