A bunch of people don't know this is actually originally my au! I'm certainly not the one who made it big, but I just thought it would be fun to talk about since I do so many evil spottedleaf map parts haha.

What if Hollyleaf found out about Spottedleaf’s plans, so Spottedleaf stripped her powers away from her. She passed the powers onto Dovewing and had Hollyleaf ‘killed’ by the tunnel collapsing.

I kinda made an au like that, but it was different and had a huge impact on the normal wc story.
Basically scourge believed in starclan, so he went to the dark forest. He trained cats and the most important cat he trained was ashfur (bum bum BUMMMM). Ivypaw/pool realised what the dark forest wanted them for, but she stayed training. Ashfur, scourge, hawkfrost, and ivypool all where really close, Ashfur and ivypool the closest. Ivypool helped the dark forest, and ashfur killed hollyleaf for revenge. Ivypool was nearly killed, but dovewing stopped who ever it was and looked ivypool in the eyes and says something like 'Why would you do this?' then ivypool snickers and attacks. In complete self-defense, Dovewing would most likely kill her.

I know everybody hates Spottedleaf's Heart and how it isn't canon in the "Evil Spottedleaf" AU but I always thought what happened to her in the book would have strengthened her hate for dying so early.
She became a medicine cat to avoid Thistleclaw pretty much, but she wanted to be a warrior, she wanted a mate and kits.
So, she was stripped of that privilege and while she was still young, and didn't even have an apprentice, she was killed. Thus, she had a huge reason for doing what she did, if that makes sense.

I enjoy your AUs so much! Evil Spottedleaf, Aldershadow, Blue eyes White Tigerstar, Redtail killing Thistle, UNF! All of them resonate with me so nicely. The trans Redtail au makes me, a trans boy, feel so good and valid.

Mine is basically Evil Jayfeather, with his supply of deathberries, guided by Spottedleaf...
And Hollyleaf basically kills her once she realizes how twisted she's made her brother.
Mine is Evil Hollyleaf, where she kills Leafpool, Ivypool, Firestar, Brambleclaw, Jayfeather and Lionblaze.
And is lead by Spottedleaf, who is like "FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!" and Hollyleaf is like "XD get rick-rolled"

My AU is where Spottedleaf was the same age as Firestar so it's not creepy for her to love him, and shes a yandere

I have this AU, and I was wondering if I could get some opinions on it. I'm also wanting to start a MAP for this AU, if anyone's interested.
Bluefur chooses to keep her kits in ThunderClan, and Thistleclaw becomes deputy (and eventually leader) in her place. Thistleclaw becomes a little impatient, and drowns Sunstar in the river with the help of Tigerpaw and a few others, burying him before he wakes up. Every time he regenerates, he suffocates again, causing him to lose another life until he is dead. Thistlestar turns ThunderClan against the others. (I'm thinking of giving a few of the warriors more menacing names. Mistystrike and Stonefall instead of Mistyfoot and Stonefur, etc.) Mosspaw also becomes a medicine cat, Spottedleaf's apprentice, and earns her name Mossdawn. Stonepaw is Tigerclaw's apprentice, and Thistlestar soon has all of ThunderClan's apprentices training in the Dark Forest without their mentors' knowledge (except Tigerclaw). Later in his leadership, he begins having elders and medicine cats eat last as they are not warriors themselves, nor are they helping to make warriors. Bluefur's secret with Oakheart is found out. To prove their loyalty to the Clan and be made into warriors, Mistypaw and Stonepaw must kill their mother. Stonefall and Mistystrike are not good cats in this AU. They've been groomed and trained to think that only power matters and they're right in the same boat as Tigerclaw and Thistlestar.
(There's a lot more I could talk about, but I'm rambling a little bit, so I'll leave it here!)

This is a very good au for the people who dislike Thistleclaw, but I honestly think he wouldn't be a horrible leader like Bluestar insisted he would be. Still, I like the idea and passion behind this!

Idea on three cat's behalfs;
Redtail:
He and Spottedleaf could be quite close is StarClan and one day Spottedleaf could be talking to him and loose track, slipping up on some things. Redtail doesn't tell anyone though, as she's his sister and he doesn't want her to start hating him. So Redtail knows about all of Spottedleaf's meddling, only really coming to terms with the fact it's a bad thing during the war when he sees just how many cats were hurt. When Spottedleaf is being chased, she runs to him to try and get help. The reason he turns on him (from the video clip) is because he personally feels betrayed as well. He hadn't wanted her to feel betrayed by him spreading things, but in turn hadn't cared about anyone else's feelings.
Breezepelt:
As you said Hollyleaf had been training in the Dark Forest, he could've seen her a few times and been quite confused, as she'd been said to be dead at Gatherings. One day while training, he bursts in and demands an explication. Perhaps Spottedleaf had told Hollyleaf it was her who'd caused her birth, so Hollyleaf shared that with Breezepelt which made him absolutely livid. In return for this information, Breezepelt tells no one about Hollyleaf being alive.
One day, Breezepelt decides to see if he can confront Spottedleaf at the Moonpool. He sleeps, finding himself in an open field with Spottedleaf, who looks confused until she sees the rage on his face. Breezepelt is about to strike her when he wakes up, howling at the sky in anger.
Spottedleaf decides to manipulate another cat, Crowfeather.
Crowfeather:
After Breezepelt attacks her, Spottedleaf is enraged. She starts making Breezepelt mess up in front of Crowfeather and make him look like a fool. She also starts whispering in Crowfeather's ears, unknowingly spreading more rumours through the clan about Breezepelt being in a relationship with a loner or something.
This makes Crowfeather feel even more distant from his son and just makes him depressed. He sleeps one day to find Spottedleaf, who introduces herself as Leafpool's friend. The two talk, Crowfeather having no idea Spottedleaf had been making him and Breezepelt so distant. He confides in her a little about how he misses Leafpool and his thoughts on Breezepelt. Spottedleaf listens, secretly enjoying his pain.
Breezepelt/Crowfeather:
Things progress as usual in your storyline, except during the war Breezepelt doesn't try and kill Lionblaze, instead it's Spottedleaf he attempts to kill. Crowfeather stops him, as he thinks Spottedleaf is his friend. Suddenly, all the cats hurt by Spottedleaf see her and start chasing her. Crowfeather is bewildered and Breezepelt has to quickly explain things. Then the both of them join in the chase.

Woah I love this AU, it would be awesome to have a villain in StarClan, especially someone like Spottedleaf, who is an underdeveloped and uninteresting character in canon. The one thing I don't understand is why Mapleshade would be in charge of the Dark Forest, when there are cats like Brokenstar and Tigerstar who have been charismatic and powerful leaders during their lifetime.
When you read mapleshade’s story that I forgot the name of, it’s shown that at that time the dark forest was just where cat wondered alone, forever hungry, forever alone. So when we see the dark forest cats at a later date working together to train living cats, it can be assumed that she started, or helped to start the training. So she’d be the boss of the dark forest cats that are involved in the training.

@@snowbird8858 Yeah, but she manipulated Tigerstar (shown in Tigerclaw's Fury), so she is probably seen as an advisor, or at the very least still pulls a decent amount of strings.

1. It doesn't affect the plot in any way
2. It was never mentioned again in the books
3. It is impossible for a dark forest cat to talk inside a living cat's head. The only way they can communicate with living cats is through dreams.

Please keep talking about your AU's, seriously. They are so in depth and make sense with the canon storyline of the books, it could almost be a possible thing in the books!
I don't have any evil Spottedleaf Aus at the moment, but I do really love the idea that Spottedleaf gets angry that Firestar isn't paying attention to her, so she decides to kill everyone he loves. I just feel that one could of happened if she was more mentally unstable.
I guess my own interpretation of Spottedleaf could be evil in a way? I kinda see her as a mentally unstable cat who, didn't get all she wants in life because she's a princess. So in my mind that's why she's so clingy to Firestar and his kin.

It's mostly about me imprinting myself into Spottedleaf but I think it's fun idk I have fun with it
So Spottedleaf does all that stuff of visiting Firestar and his kids in their dreams, encouraging to do things that aren't very good ideas, weakening the barrier between the dead and the living and making it easier for the Dark Forest to cause trouble and also having Ashfur join Starclan
BUT it's not for her own benefit
It's because she is stupid
She genuinely wants to help! But the rest of the Starclan cats tell her that she's only making things worse and well it's true but she feels bad sitting there and doing nothing so she ends up creating more trouble, Yellowfang gets involved sometimes but only because she wants to make sure she doesn't screw things up so it's basically babysitting.
Yeah I know it's so silly and definitely doesn't fit the cannon but I have fun thinking about it and it makes me happy.
Also Ashfur is in Starclan because Spottedleaf was like "hey since sending cats to the dark forest is clearly a bad idea because they turn agaisnt us and start a war, what if we DON'T send them to the Dark Forest" and the other Starclan cats said "are you nuts are you out of your mind where in the world would they go then here???" "Sure" and Ashfur is now her test subject for her project of Badboy Rehab (or Borb)

I like this idea! There are a lot of cats who (I think) aren't evil enough for the Dark Forest but aren't good enough for Starclan. Like Onestar, and Appledusk, who are jerks but not evil
I am actually writing an AU about Tigerclaw had kill Bluestar in Forest of Secrets and Fireheart going to ShadowClan for help. Basically, Fireheart and Tigerclaw switch clan leadership in my AU and there is no need for BloodClan. I'm like 25 chapters in and still writing.

Nah but hear me out, Spottedleaf manipulating Ashfur to try and get 'revenge' on Squirrelfilight. Her whispering to him that he needs to do it because he "loves her" and needs to prove a point. This makes sure to get Hollyleaf out of the picture because she kills him and surely would be found out. Therefore, not having to worry about Hollyleaf ruining anything. IDK. Not trying to excuse Ashfurs actions just thought it'd be interesting. Give me an Ashfur Novella. I need to know what the hell was going through his head to do the things he did.
The *Before There is Peace* prophecy sounds really cool but there was no point in Leafpool receiving it. If anything shouldn't it have been Brambleclaw? The Dark Forest does corrupt the souls of its residents after all so maybe Brambleclaw *was* turning to Tigerstar's side but after all the warnings and visions, when Hawkfrost gives him the offer Brambleclaw would snap out of it and realize what the prophecy told him and knew that if he went through with the plan, the Clans would suffer. Would've made Brambleclaw more interesting tbh.
Before I say anything, I want to know if I can make a voice acting MAP on this? I am going to use the AU listed below but since it is very similar, I wanted to ask.
I have a version where SpottedLeaf thinks she is doing what she believes is good but then starts to realize that her life wasn't too interesting and she wants to have a bit more fun. At first, it's small things, like tricking SwiftPaw that to actually get his warrior name, he needs to stand out from the rest so he becomes a warrior and BlueStar will "drift closer to StarClan" {since at this point she is mad} and telling BrambleKit to climb the tree during the fire so FireStar will look like a hero and to kinda get YellowFang out of the way. After that she realizes that hey, I am a StarClan medicine cat, I can get anyone to do what I want. This is where she starts visiting LeafPaw and freaking her out, trying to get her to be weaker and easier to control. She also tells SquirrelPaw to pressure LeafPaw to become a medicine cat so she will have even more control over her. She then takes MapleShade's kits to the border and threatens the lives of the kits, making sure that the Dark Forest is under her control. At this point, she is doing all of this to make her life more interesting and fun. After she hears of three kits that will be born, she tells LeafPool to leave with CrowFeather, who she told over and over again to be with LeafPool (even making herself look like Feather tail just for him to move on and get with LeafPool). As soon as they run off and CinderPelt is killed, SpottedLeaf grabs her spirit and shoves it into CinderHeart, not wanting to deal with her yet. After LeadPool finds out she is having kits, she pressures SquirrelFlight into taking the kits and raising them to be her own and even convinces YellowFang to tell her that she can't have kits. Right after the three are born, she straches JayFeather's eyes out, wanting to manipulate him easier. The rest is pretty much the same, telling AshFur to try and kill the 3, BlueStar and FlameTail getting killed, bringing IvyPool and LionBlaze to the DF, and her trying to get rid of HollyLeaf.

I love the Spottedleaf AU!! I like to think that Mapleshade would normally visit her kits at the border but one day Spottedleaf holds them hostage for Mapleshade to do her bidding. Mapleshade, of course, agrees. On a completely different note, i love to think Mapleshade is a turncoat and switches sides mid fight because she sees her kits protecting queens kits. She fends off Brokenstar until Yellowfang comes and kills him bc I'll never not laugh at the fact that he got demolished by his mom 3 fuckin times like damn get wreked. But she still kills Spottedleaf in the end after helping in exposing her. After this deed, Mapleshade goes to StarClan because her anger and resentment dissolve and its put to rest. In StarClan, she works it out with Appledusk who is regretful because hes heard all about how great of a mom she was from her kits. It would also be kinda nice if at first the kits were really resentful of their dad for being an ass. And Appledusks mate, i forget her name, also lowkey rejects him for what he did. Mapleshade apologizes to Crookedstar and he forgives her bc hes amazing and wonderful and he saw her protecting the queens during the battle. I like Mapleshade going from bad to good idk why

I think you could get away with the ivy arc still continuing if dovey was the fourth cat instead of Firestar (cause i mean, nobody really liked that reveal and it held no importance in the overall scheme of things)
I'm actually kind of playing with the idea of Hollyleaf living and becoming more of a chaotic neutral kind of character instead of wholly good or wholly evil, in this AU she would end up living with Crowfeather and Nightcloud + Breezepelt because she just looked too windclan, it would be too obvious she wasn't a thunderclan cat. Nightcloud is happy to have her, going off another AU that some of her kits died, and thats about as far as I'm willing to go before I go off int a a huge ass ramble and write a 50 page essay on this :")
Absolutely love how this au justifies all that shit in canon. I’ve always felt like even in canon spottedleaf over steps her bounds even if shes not explicitly “evil” or if the writers even intended it to be that way. Also I’m loving these videos you have a nack for fixing poor canon writing with your AUs thanks for sharing ‘em with us!
I wasn't really a big fan of the au when I first started seeing it around(which was the MAPs) and so never played it much mind, but hearing you explain it makes me really like it! And honestly it's something I could have seen actually happening.
Plus I always felt Spottedleaf's big issue was that she never got any development. She was a love interest, she died, she became some vague ass stalker/messenger, then she died again. But this au would REALLY help make her more interesting and even help explain some of the bullshit starclan put the cats through.
Basically I'm super interested in this au now!

I love the evil Spottedleaf AU! The mastermind/Mysterious character is so admirable! Your storyline for this character fits in so well with the real arc of warriors! ( if you take out the real story of spottedleafs actions)

I honestly love being in this fandom because there are so many interesting AU s which the fans create as well as so much amazing fan art, fics and animations.
Dude because of you I’ve made my own Warriors AU where Evil Spottedleaf is one of my main villains of the AU. So yeah, thank you for making the AU, no matter what other people say.
In my AU, Spottedleaf never wanted to be a warrior apprentice and thanks to Goosefeather’s refusal to retire she had too anyways. In revenge Spottedleaf poisons Goosefeather, making it look like he died in his sleep. She ends up becoming Featherwhisker’s apprentice, and everything’s hunky dory till she dies. Then she goes off the deep end.
I. Fricking. LOVE. This AU! It makes so much sense!
My personal AU of Spotted is that in the final battle against Dark Forest, Spottedleaf wanted Mapleshade to corner Sandstorm so that she could kill her, basically as vengeance for "stealing" Firestar, which is why Mapleshade says that thing about Sandstorm having everything she had wanted, her words actually being those of Spottedleaf. When Spottedleaf runs in for the kill, Mapleshade betrays her and kills Spotted, saving Sandstorm.

this is such an interesting take on Spottedleaf! I would have loved this to be in the books, canon Spottedleaf isn’t very fleshed out and is a very hollow, one sided character, if that makes sense. She’s mostly only there for plot convenience, and I always found her a bit boring.
The evil Spottedleaf concept in the books would have been amazing; no one would suspect her to be such a mastermind villain.
Yeah, even whenever I first read the books I thought that she needed more development. Also, we do need a surprising villain. They tried to do that with Sol, but he was very disappointing.
I usually dislike AU's, but Evil Spottedleaf is a rare acception. It in fact fascinates me! Well done!

So remember that time when spottedleaf and feathertail both were promoting leafpool to go with crowfeather I was felt like spottedleaf manipulated feathertail in thinking that if crow was with leaf he'll stop mourning over her and spottedleaf did this because she knew badgers will come and attack the clan and leaf would have died in the battle

The idea of spottedleaf still being obsessed with fireheart and the idea of her being a master manipulator go great together and work well with how she does a second time that after everyone turns on her maple shade leaves everyone to kill spotted and goes to get sandstorm for fun and spotted escaping her mass death sacrifices herself as one last manipulation, so all of the living cats see her sacrifice herself and think shes still a good person even though shes potentially screwed everyone over in the end. That's kinda my thought on it I wanna elaborate more and write a spin on the AU because it's just so amazing and I love seeing what came from one small idea I love what you've created and how its turned out!

I like to think that another reason Spottedleaf decided to sending prophecies -and kinda flirting- to Fireheart in this au is that she figured out that he had a crush on her, or at least liked her as a character, so she was easily able to gain his trust. It was a win-win, considering he also became one of the most important characters in the series.
I would change it so that Spottedleaf takes over with mapleshade and some "Chosen" cats would have to sneak around to defeat the two. In this, Mapleshade and Spottedleaf are allies. They both what the same things, so they work together. In the end, Spottedleaf reveals that she was going to kill Mapleshade and rule herself. They fight, Mapleshade wins, and Mapleshade is excepted into starclan.

OK, so everything the same up until Spottedleaf meets Mapleshade for the first time, Then!:
I like the idea of a Starclan cat (Maybe someone she used to trust and still holds some love for?) meeting with Mapleshade after Spottedleafs first visit, and knowing what Spottedleaf has done, but not holding enough influence to tell anyone else without being called a lier, and to the starclan cat after explaining everything, Mapleshade acts like she doesn't care, or that she thinks said cat is lying, but is really storing the information away, so she knows all of Spottedleafs secrets, and once Spottedleaf threatens her kits lives, she starts to leek these secrets cryptically to Hollyleaf and other cats, the other cats have a hunch but Hollyleafs the only one who catches on, Mapleshade cant state Spottedleafs wrong doings out loud as Spottedleaf has made her believe she is all seeing. So once Hollyleaf catches on, Mapleshade starts training her, knowing that she isn't one of the three.
BUT
She, just like Spottedleaf, is a manipulator, so she makes Spottedleaf believe Hollyleaf is one of the three, slowly ruining Spottedleafs plans from the inside and making sure her kits are safe.
At the end of the battle, knowing her kits are safe, and with enough people knowing Spottedleafs lies, she kills her, and just before the starclan and dark first cats must go back, Mapleshades kits appear infront of her where she can nuzzle and love them with tears and they day their goodbyes and apologies as Mapleshade sees her kits for the first and last(?) time!
evil spottedleaf puts a whole new twist on Firestar's Quest, especially when Sandstorm is struggling with feeling like she's second choice to Firestar and Spottedleaf intervenes to talk to her.
Honestly, this is the first time I actually heard what this AU entails. When I heard the of the concept of an evil medicine cat from somebody mentioning the Evil Spottedleaf AU I was just like 'Oh wow, an evil medicine cat? I wonder if I can make an OC that's an evil medicine cat.'. And so I did.
Jayfeather's entire character is turning up and yelling at everyone. 🤣

I’ve seen the Evil Spottedleaf au in a lot of different things but I never really knew what it was about, just that Spottedleaf was evil in some way but now that Ive heard it explained I absolutely love the idea and it makes so much sense that I can’t help but imagine Spottedleaf like this now
So an idea on how you could make this better is fallen, half moon, rock, and all the other ancients are all fabrications made by spotted to throw jay off but there's also one other thing fallen leaves is real just not the story jay had be told about him he was major player in star clan politics until he suddenly disappeared one day and no one likes talking about it because they feel live it might happen to them as well it would also give a new spin on the name fallen leaves that being the fallen member of Star clan hiding under the earth from the autumn leaves this also gives a reason for him to take such a major role in Holly's story and why Holly doesn't tell jay about how she saw fallen in the tunnels
So I'd also like to change the last scene a tiny bit by Holly suddenly appears blocking spotted's path spotted stops for just a second and before she knows it she's trapped surrounded unable to leave she calls out to jay for help but the only response she gets is "I was told to find the fourth cat and here she is, what she does or doesn't do is none of my business" panicked feeling fear for the first time since she died she tries to appeal to Holly's sense of morality "A good clan cat doesn't kill" she says trying to hide her fear, with a sadness in her eyes Holly says "you showed us no mercy, I should be the one to return the favor" Holly jumps on her intending to kill pain flows through her body like a rushing river blood has stained the ground but she just won't die because Holly isn't a dead character yet she's not able to give spotted enough sustained damage to kill her for good. Hearing pawsteps she looks up through the mist of her own blood to see fallen leaves he walks up to her and says "you cruel foxheart" and with one swift movement she's gone the only sign she had ever been there a large blood stain on the ground and that's the scene oots ends on

I have my opinion about this au about Evil Spottedleaf, I disagree that this is exactly a good au in my point of view because why would a good medicine cat just snap into a evil cat just by dying by a shadowclan Warrior because she literally became a medicine cat for not wanting to be evil because Thistleclaw wanted a evil wife but Spottedleaf refused and decided the best decision for her clan was to be a medicine cat so she could save her clan. Not just die moons later and be driven mad by dying and then try to team up with the cat that she met in the DarkForest when she was a Warrior apprentice, I know most of my opinion of the Evil Spottedleaf Au evolves around Spottedleaf’s Heart but it’s just I don’t understand why people would like a warriors series based around a basically a side character that means no harm to good cats like Hollyleaf, Squirrelflight, Jayfeather and etc. But I do love the creativity in this au and I don’t mind people telling me that I’m wrong but it won’t change my mind about the au.

What if Fallenleaves ghost was killed by Spottedleaf? Like, she knew that someone was giving Jayfeather other guidance and went to go look for them. Rock somehow knew she was coming and hid but Fallenleaves didn't. So she assumes it was him and rekills him.(also making Hollyleaf never meet him in the tunnels) So when Hollyleaf runs off in the tunnels she's laying with her leg under a rock half-dead. Then Mapleshade sees her and sees herself after her kits died, laying in a barn, alone, crying herself to sleep and decides to help her. (I IMAGINE that at some point she learned to heal minor wounds and looking upon other cats for so many moons she picked up on certain things) Hollyleaf doesn't know who she is but has no choice but to accept her help. So when she's better, Mapleshade starts training her, only telling her that a war is coming. Hollyleaf, still wanting to help her clan, (and being drawn to Mapleshade for a reason she does not yet understand...) agrees. So they train everyday and get closer and closer. Hollyleaf starts to break down the emotional barriers that both her and Mapleshade have put up. (I IMAGINE there's a cut scene where Mapleshade is about to leave to go back to the dark forest and Hollyleaf invites her to stay with her for the night and they snuggle up together in her nest) Mapleshade is touched when Hollyleaf helps the baby fox out of the tunnels and realizes she can't keep lying to her. She tells her the truth about who she is and Hollyleaf either A. Is shocked but accepts her B. Already figured it out and accepts her or C. Is shocked and yells at her before running off. In C. She ends up finding Ivypool and Dovewing and helping them out of the tunnels and going back. Mapleshade is sad and pissed and everyone in the Dark forest is walking on eggshells around her. Hollyleaf is obviously different from when she left and always seems to be deep in thought and sort of depressed. Eventually the battle comes and she saves Ivypool. But as she's about to be killed by Hawkfrost, Mapleshade jumps in and saves her. As Hollyleaf looks up at her Mapleshade confesses her feelings and Hollyleaf accepts, confessing her own too. They have a brief moment before returning to the fight side by side. After Spottedleaf's final death Hollyleaf dies from battle wounds surrounded by family and friends and Mapleshade. She goes to Starclan. After the battle Mapleshade goes back to the dark forest griefstricken and curls into a ball and falls asleep. To her surprise she awakens in Starclan,greeted by Crookedstar, her other forgiving victims after seeing her selflessness in battle, her kits, and Hollyleaf. That's just my edit to the AU though. Please tell me what you think!
Edit: Or Hollystar AU happens and Mapleshade's spirit stays by her side and Hollyleaf never feels alone again. And when she finally dies she's greeted by her family and then after they clear a path Mapleshade looks at her in shock before smiling and crying while Hollyleaf runs up to her tackle hugging her and happy crying too. And Hollyleaf and Mapleshade are Mapleshade's kits' moms.

My favorite thing about this AU is that I can somewhat put Spottedleaf's Heart into play somewhat. What if she was resentful that Starclan did nothing to help her with her situation with Starclan. What if she DID reveal what Thistleclaw had said to her and that he was training in the Dark Forest to Thunderclan but no cat took her seriously because every cat thought he'd make a great leader. (Your idea of Redtail and Whitestrom killing Thistleclaw woud happen in my head cannon because I love that idea.) She was angry about the situation not being taken seriously but didnt do anything about it... until she died and she found that she could have control and power.
Hey! I've been a fan of you and this made me have an idea. At the beginning she wanted to still be there and she couldn't accept the fact that she died(just like what you said). Then when Firestar chooses Sandstorm as his mate and have ends up having 2 kits, Spottedleaf decides to have revenge, in a way, leading towards Leafpool having Crowfeather as her mate and ended up having kits which one of them ended up getting mad that she and her siblings weren't the kits of who they thought they were. I do think it would also be cool if Spottedleaf had fun with this and decides to do it to other cats. I could think of Spottedleaf wanting revenge, so she uses Firestar's kits and make them suffer...in a way, but then she kinda has too much fun, feeling important, and start creating more problems...leading to her downfall

let’s also not forget that spottedleaf *encouraged* leafpool to run away with crowfeather instead of convincing her to stay in thunderclan. i always had this idea in my mind where spottedleaf had “haunted” every medicine cat after her, by making them die in awful ways, such as yellowfang dying from the smoke, cinderpelt being killed by badgers, and even forcing jayfeather and alderheart into the position.

I really love the idea! The thing I like the most is it’s now not just Tigerstar that’s the problems in the start of the books. A lot of the time one character (until the battle of the dark forest but technically Tigerstar was leading it)

The reason evil leaders get nine lives is because "the word of the leader is law". If the previous leader said that this cat will be the leader, then it will happen weather Starclan wishes it or not. Starclan can't disobey it's own law.
I actually didn't like Spottedleaf at all before this au, but evil Spottedleaf is my favorite villain now.
What If Evil Spotty was using the prophecy cats as puppets? She is minipulitive and is trying to make the war turn out the way she wants it by using the cats. She manipulates Lion by just... like, flirting or something and urging him on to be a better warrior. She is "teaching" Jay new herbs and other spiritual StarClan stuff. But Holly doesn't believe her and so on and so worth. When Holly "dies" in the tunnels Spotty doesnt know and actually thinks she is dead. So when she meets Dove, she goes all out and Dove whole heartedly believes in her. Right before the great battle though, Dove is looking at the Dark Forest cats with her sight, but instead sees Spotty doing some stuff (I don't really know, I making this up on the spot) and know that Spotty is evil. She keeps it to herself though. During the battle, the thing happens where Spotty is sourounded by everyone she has hurt, when suddenly, Holly comes out of nowhere and finishes Spotty on the spot.
Like I said, I made this up on the spot, and it really rough, but you can all use this! 😙

I agree with all of this, except the Leafpool concept. I believe Spottedleaf had control over all of Thunderclan, hell, she probably had control over every clan. But Thunderclan particularly because she persuaded Firestar she loved him. Firestar views Starclan cats as superior because he thinks they’re omnipotent. Leafpool on the other hand is a medicine cat. Any Starclan cat can visit a medicine cat. And Leafpool is Firestars daughter. If Leafpool found out something, she would not hesitate to tell Firestar. Spottedleaf sent her loads of that ‘lake running red!’ prophecy to try and drive her away from being a medicine cat. To put her off wanting to even receive prophecies let alone be the messenger of them. She told Leafpool to follow her heart to, once again, keep her away from a close role to Starclan. But what about Jayfeather? Spottedleaf probably brought Flametail down under the ice and persuaded Dawnpelt it was Jayfeather. Because Firestar is his grandfather. Although not being very close to Firestar, he would still feel more compelled than an average medicine cat. You know how Hollyleaf didn’t want the secret to get out about Leafpool and Crowfeather being her parents but then doing a complete 180? It never made sense to me. I’m not sure how but perhaps Spottedleaf manipulated Hollyleaf into doing that in another attempt to dethrone Leafpool as medicine cat.
