At 43:51 when Arthur & John have that stare to each other, you can tell they’ve either been in a situation like this before or just simply that Arthur is basically saying “Trust me I gotchu” & John seems really calm & composed because he does trust him. I love that moment, they may have their differences but they’re like brothers at the end of the day
John is also really fast on his gun in that scene.

R1 is to manually place targets in deadeye. It was automatic because it was level 1. Place multiple targets at once and it will kill so many enemies. Chewing tobacco is also very common loot from enemies so use that to your advantage
U can Hold R1 while u move the cursor over them and it acts like Level 1
That section from paying off your bounty in Valentine, to returning to Valentine after five minutes of madness (including kicking a man who was down, grabbing a woman by her throat infront of the sheriff, and being chased by both the law & wolves) was hilarious!

That was hilarious. Pays $5 Valentine bounty. Immediately jumps in the middle of a fight, kicks one guy while he's down, knocks the other out. Proceeds to pick up a body and dump it in front of the saloon for some reason. Chokes out and threatens a female witness 2 feet away from the sherrif. Desperate escape from law enforcement, immediate restoration of $5 bounty. I'm loving this playthrough

Valentine is actually cursed because when people moved in there were Indians there but they all got brutally murdered to make the valentine curse. But I think the reason why you got your bounty was more of you picking up a body, classifying it as a kidnapping.

Accidentally pulling your gun on the person you're trying to talk to is a universal RDR2 experience and I cant believe how easy it is to do that in game

Remember that you ALWAYS can pull your fishing rod out of your inventory and fish anywhere you'd like! At any body of water out in the world, while exploring. It's kinda a whole other side of this game... some people boot this game up just to go fishing for hours on end, just because it can be so relaxing.
Watching this series has been like watching a toddler learning how to walk.
Beautiful, hilarious and full of confusion.
I hope that she does a challenge run / compendium run afterwards so we can keep the world going!
Sky the bandana only works when you commit a crime before the law sees you. If the law sees you, they instantly give you a bounty because they recognize you no matter what. I’m pretty sure if you commit a crime without the bandana it gives you a bounty even if the law sees you. Bandana is kinda useless, but it still works to some extent
@@zizouurb6332 it does. I was playing rdr2 today and I’m pretty sure if the witness sees you without the bandana, it instant gives you a bounty and says wanted Arthur Morgan instead of unknown suspect
@@zizouurb6332it does work just some people don’t fully understand the mechanic or think they do but they don’t, I robbed the Valentine general store cashier made him empty the register wearing the bandanna and NPC’s reported it and the law game but I didn’t get identified I didn’t even get wanted or a bounty and I stayed in the town for ages on the main road after robbing the store and the law were tryna work out who the hell robbed the store but they couldn’t say it was me cos I used the bandanna, so it definitely does work

I always recommend changing the settings for reeling in fish. You can change it to press and hold a button instead of turning the stick. Much easier especially with big fish.
That was a great episode. And that last mission is so wholesome, Arthur just chilling with his two dads.
Finally to chapter three. So excited for my favorite chapter. New places to find, new strangers to meet, new bounties to accidentally get. Gunna be so much fun.
I just wanted to stop on by to give a shout out to Sky I do enjoyed your content when you played god of war ragnorrock some Spider Man & others . Can’t help how cute looks though even her laugh too . Of all the reaction videos about RDR2 yours has to be the best. I've laughed so many times. There are times when I think no not that way ride the other direction. I've played 9 play throughs and still discovering new things

Idk if anyone has mentioned this yet but..
You can fish a lot easier if you have Hold to Reel (fishing) turned "on" in your Controls settings
It's gonna be a huge relief on your controller's sticks as well as your thumbs lol

TIP: check out a Town south of the old camp. It's burnt down. There's something i know you'll love there hidden. Its called lymphany. Definitely worth it!!!
if you ever wanna see trails your companions are talking about you can go into eagle eye to see them as well, you actually get different dialogue if you initiate the tracking

First of all I’d like to say I’ve very much enjoyed your play through. I’ve watched since the first one and had wanted to make a post but figured I’d hold off until I caught up to where you are. Below are a bunch of tips/tricks but NO spoilers. This is just to help you understand the game if you want. If you don’t want a bunch of tips I fully understand and don’t read any further. There is a TON more but I figured this would be a good start if you wanted.
MAP / QUEST:
• Your Mini Map will help in a lot of situations, try to look more at it.
• There are multiple chapters and certain side quests only happen in some of them.
• If you use the cinematic view when running you can miss on random encounters. I love the way it looks, however I don’t ever want to miss out on something, and RDR2 has a lot of somethings lol.
• A yellow item that isn’t a quest (like a gun icon) is a new weapon you don’t have yet. You’ll always want to pick these up.
• When you set a waypoint, it will show you the best way that is assessable by the road. It’s not always the actual best path. You can cut through the forest or trees, however don’t try when it comes to mountains as it’s a pain sometimes.
SKINNING:
• Each animal has a star pelt rating from 1-3. Poor, Good, Excellent
• Depending on what weapon you use, how many times you shoot it, and the ammo you use it will ruin the pelt.
• Certain weapons should be used on certain animals. The bow can do most animals as long as you switch what arrows you are using.
o BOW - Small Game Arrow | The smallest of animals like birds, Bats, Chipmunk, Snakes, etc
o VARMINT RIFLE - Moderate | Badger, Skunk, Racoon, etc
o REPEATERS (Or Normal Arrows from the BOW) - Medium | Beaver, Coyote, Pig, etc.
o RIFLE - Large | Boar, Buck, Wolf, Panther
o SCOPED RIFLE - Massive | Alligator, Bear, Bison, Bull, etc
• Always aim for the head to kill them, I think there is a spot you can shoot in the heart but I’ve never tried that.
• Legendary animals will be marked on your map when you get close to an area, and it will give you a notice.
• If you kill a legendary animal and lose the pelt on the way to the trapper, then it immediately gets sent to him so you can’t actually lose them
• When you skin an animal you get the pelt, meat, and other items like feathers, or animal fat, etc.
• Pearson in camp will want some skins and perfect animal carcasses to get upgrades for your camp. It helps camp moral but the biggest reason you want to do this is for the satchels. The best satchel increases what you can hold by…. A lot.
• The trapper will take the other perfect skins, you can make outfits and other items with them. The crap stuff can get sold to anyone who will buy them.
• Some time if you kill an animal and it’s in a weird position and prevents you from skinning it, you can try to lasso it and pull it to a better spot. Try not to pull the animal too much as it can ruin the pelt though
HORSE:
• Your horse has a certain amount of spots it can carry skins and carcasses
o One large item (bear, moose, etc)
o A decent amount of medium (don’t remember)
o Small pelts and stuff go in your bag
o Medium bodies get hung on the side of your horse and you get 2
• You can only have a few horses, I think it’s 4. One that you are using and 3 in the stables. Random horses you get will follow you but can disappear.
• Bonding a horse up to lvl 4 will help increase it’s stats.
• Certain breads will have certain states. Some are faster, some scare less, some have more stamina.
• There are a few rare 1 of a kind horses out there, if you find one keep a hold of them
• Horses need food and brushing often, however don’t overfeed them as they can have detrimental effects. You can check this stat in your game menu
WEAPONS / FOOD:
• If you see a yellow weapon icon in your mini map pick it up. Once you do you’ll drop your current weapon, but that weapon will reappear on your horse so you’ll not lose it.
• Certain hat’s a collectable and will reappear on your horse like the weapons, but NOT all of them.
• You can swap between different types of ammo from your weapon wheel. In the middle you’ll see a list of different types of ammo. You will need to learn some of them (poison arrow for example)
• If you pick up a new pattern (poison arrow again for an example) you’ll need to read it to learn it.
• If you cook you can scroll left and right to season certain food. Depending on the season you use will boost different effects.
• You can upgrade your weapons at the weaponsmith. It will increase their stats and looks. Some items can’t be updated though
OUTFITS:
• You can have a certain amount of outfits on your horse at a time. I recommend having a few different sets, the biggest is Hot and Cold weather.
o Cold Weather
o Hot Weather
o Normal
o Bandit Gear
• If you rob a store and cover your face, make sure you also have a change of cloths to help disguise yourself. Also changing up your horse is a good idea too
FISHING:
• Different fish like different type of lures, so if you are trying to catch something specific try different lures.
• Certain fish can only be found in certain locations.
• When fishing move your real in at a constant pace. Don’t let it just sit in the water. If you pull your lure in at a decent pace it will attract fish easier.
• When the fish is fighting you (going side to side) stop reeling the fish in, if you keep reeling you could snap your line

Hey Sky, You can get the silver dapple pinto horse when the 3rd Albert mason mission pops up, make a manual save before doing it, then do it, but make sure these 5 things or watch a UA-cam tutorial by searching "albert mason silver dapple pinto":
1. to approach mission on horseback so your horse spawns closest to the horses when they run off at the end
2. borrow albert's horse and herd the horses
3. when the herd is on open fields and moving towards Albert, gallop towards albert as fast as you can before cut scene initiates
4. skip the last cut scene as soon as it initiates so you can chase after the silver dapple pinto, its the fastest horse in terms of speed stats and of course it's very beautiful.
5. Just head in their general direction and you'll see the horses, you can only jump to horse to successfully capture it and take it to a stable and saddle it without falling off from it and then immediately save and reload that save and it's done.
Dutch is many things. Ambitious is one of them. He is the best written character in this game (and most media because this game has one of the best written story) only rivaled by Arthur and John.
16:40 there are also options for clothing where you can unbutton shirts, roll up/down sleeves and pant legs.
24:03 True, there is a note in the game that says that Valentine is cursed
That's the best part about this game, every place has a history to it and you can dig into and discover hidden secrets for. Most of it has no bearing on the actual plot itself, but instead are rewards for exploring and investigating on your own. How many people even know about the ghost train, for example?
RDR2 is truly a masterpiece

kentucky saddlers, tennessee walker and morgans are the most common horses you can find them pretty much anywhere
Two hour Red Dead stream. Hell yes!
You can also press square to modify your outfit while changing clothes which lets you do stuff like open his collar, roll up sleeves, and tuck pants in and out of boots. Also you can upgrade the saddle bags on your saddle to hold more custom outfits on your horse.
To holster your weapons you can press B or whatever the PlayStation equivalent is instead of going into the weapon wheel every time. Also if i remember correctly quick tapping the trigger draws your sidearm(s) without aiming them. I might be wrong about that tho

you can alter the settings to allow a button press to reel fish in rather than rotating the right stick, saves wearing your thumb out. More gold bars to be found when you do treasure maps.
You can just press L1 to holster the gun you’re carrying instead of opening up your weapon wheel every time. Also, if you’re holding a pistol or revolver you can double press L1 to put your gun away like a real cowboy.
The fishing lures are unlimited unless you break the line. Pull back on the rod when you are reeling the fish in, it pulls the fish closer to you.
Hey sky if you happen to see an X on your map you can investigate it. They’re dead bodies that usually have a very small side quest attached to it or a random event that will have some type of interaction
I still try to find new things in rdr2 just got the first one again on ps4 i miss that game it was so fun along with undead nightmare
Sky i emplore you to search near the camp, particularly for a burned out ghost town. When you find it search (cannot emphasise enough) thoroughly! Love watching your playthroughs btw, dont stress about nagging comments, theres a lot to take in and learn. We all neglected feeding arthur + horse for a while the first time around
@Skyytea This comment refers to the old camp at horseshoe overlook, not the new camp. Also don't feel pressured to progress the storyline, this game was made to play at your own pace. The more you do the more you will get out of it.

If I could give one piece of advice, get improved barrels (rifling) on all your guns at the gunsmith, use express ammunition, and clean your guns often. I think you will have a little easier time. I’m really enjoying watching your first play through!
You press R1 to mark them while in slo-mo. It being manual gives you more control so you can choose to mark 10 different peoples heads for example, and kill em all in one go

Want Arthur clean? Approach your horse satchel or ride on it and change to your custom outfit from there but stay stationary dont move too much like when you brush your horse or it wont let you, you be clean instantly this way.
