A Slim Pig YouTube Poop

- Time for one of my signature obscure cartoon UA-cam Poops! This one is of the Canadian-Irish series "Slim Pig", which aired in the United States as part of Cartoon Network's "Big Bag".
Rooster comes down with the bird flu, and since he's highly contagious, how can the skinny smart piggy and his friends named after their species wake up the whole farm? They may have to resort to earrape...

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
0:18 - Robot Chicken Big Bird throwing up.
0:58 - OG Blue's Clues, specifically the Steve era.
1:26 - If I did something like that, I'd use the scene from the Thomas & Friends episode, "Thomas, Percy, and the Squeak", where Alicia Botti's screaming (in response to seeing a mouse in Clarabel) causes windows to break all over Sodor, and Gordon says "Definitely a coloratura!"
1:31 - Hello, Corporal Capeman.
1:44 - Why is this giving me Dennis the Menace (1993) vibes?
1:49 - Well, I was close. It was a John Hughes film about a troublemaking young boy with blonde hair.
2:03 - The Waltons.
I know that Thomas & Friends episode. And in the UK version (which I prefer for the series), after that part, during when Percy returns from his guaranteed connection, there's this:
"Look at the little green engine!" Alicia Botti exclaimed. "So sweet and dirty, like a proper steam engine."
"Peasant," Gordon huffed snootily.
"Yes, I am pleasant!" smiled Percy. He was glad somebody noticed.
Well they managed to get the McCallister family up for their vacation… just hope Kevin’s not left behind… again!
And if he isn't, let's hope he doesn't get on a wrong flight... again!
It's my first time discovering this cartoon.
LOL
And the animation gives me PB&J Otter vibes
I can definitely see it. Mouse's design reminds me of Ootsie and Bootsie, along with Porkchop from "Doug" (since Jim Jinkins created both "PB&J Otter" and "Doug").
That show turned 26 two days ago
I’m dying from the humor
Chicken from Cow and Chicken: SHUT UP ALREADY!!!!
I loved that cartoon as a kid.
@@MinscFromBaldursGate92 Nice.
To be honest, if I saw this as a kid, if I could remember correctly. I definitely would’ve thought as a kid that “ Slim Pig “ was one of those tv cartoons that try to be hip with movies like “ Charlotte’s web “ or “ The Lion King “
Happy St Patrick's Day
Fittingly enough, this cartoon was co-produced in Ireland!

@@ZakWolf nice!
Blast from the past. Thanks for the memories.
uploaded on Saint Patrick's Day as well as my Aunt Patty's Birthday and Actor Patrick Duffy's 75th Birthday! btw what clip is this from at 1:26?!
The glass breaking's from the Arthur episode "And Now Let's Talk To Some Kids".
Also, regarding St. Patrick's Day, "Slim Pig" is an Irish co-production!
@@ZakWolfGreat video! :)
Happy St. Patrick’s Day. Also, tomorrow is my birthday!
What are your favorite episodes of The What A Cartoon Show and why?
Let's see... there's the first "Dexter's Laboratory" pilot (a.k.a. "Changes") due to its slapdash animation and the way it introduces Dexter, Dee-Dee and their mother, "Sledgehammer O'Possum: Out and About" due to Pat Ventura's trademark crazy designs and animation and sound design, along with Sledgehammer being a fun sadistic little character, O Ratz in "Rat in a Hot Tin Can" because of its' premise, voice-acting and animation, the Fat Cats in "Drip Dry Drips" due to its' voice acting, Startoons animation and some of the gags, Mina and the Count in "Interlude with a Vampire" due to Mark Hamill's performance and the artwork and music, the "Cow and Chicken" pilot "No Smoking" due to Charlie Adler's performance and David Feiss's wild animation, Jof in "Help?" due to its' story, the one-word line of dialogue and the European animation, "Wind-Up Wolf" due to it being a fun take on the "Three Little Pigs" story with a great titular character (based on a Tex Avery pitch, no less!), Godfrey and Zeek in "Lost Control" due to Rob Paulsen and Tom Kenny's voice work and the sewage treatment plant setting, "Buy One Get One Free" due to its' jazz soundtrack and "Ren & Stimpy"-inspired artwork, "Larry and Steve" due to it setting some foundation for "Family Guy" along with its' humorous gags and dialogue, and "Tales of Worm Paranoia" due to the Bob Clampett influence along with the Kennedy Cartoons and Carbunkle Cartoons animation and use of APM stock music.
@@ZakWolf You know what? Whoever the sound designer behind the Sledgehammer O’ Possum cartoons is, someone should give him or her a raise.
@@MrTimshellscherber, the first one, "Out and About", had the sound editing done at Three Rivers Editorial by Paul Douglas. While "What's Going On Back There?" had the sound editing done at Twenty-First Century Entertainment by Joel Valentine and his crew.
@@ZakWolf Nice.
I remember seeing the show on CBC Kids.
I have never heard of this cartoon before.
1:12 You should of used that reference from that Richard Scary’s Old Macdonald’s Farm video when that little chick barks like a dog.
D'oh! I should've indeed done that!
Seriously, what's with all the Earrape?! Why won't you turn it down?!
They needed to wake up the farm!
@@ZakWolf Oh really?! Well, it's making my ears bleed!
@@michaelmullican6487that’s the whole point of the ear rape… so you’re going to have to deal with it
This series would've fit better than PBS Kids.
Yeah, especially since a revival season was produced in 2005. I could definitely see PBS Kids showing it during that time.
@@ZakWolfyeah, probably, but it is what it is, sometimes we have to just step back and appreciate a work of art. Plus, there was already a PBS show back then that I always thought as a kid was trying to be hip with “ The Lion King “ and that was “ Sagwa The Chinese Siamese Cat “
But at least It aired on the CBC
