Thanks so much! I’m at 36 weeks tomorrow. A little “stuck in bed” with Braxton-Hicks and in pain. I needed to go through my manual and read all this, so this was a nice intro and review to put my busy brain at easy while I prepare for baby! There is just always something else to get done… 🤦🏻♀️😓 But breast pump is kind of a priority! Thanks for simplifying for everyone. What a beautifully clear tutorial. 💖
You should have no issue using while it’s plugged in or using the rechargeable battery. If one of those methods is giving you an issue I’d highly recommend calling their customer service
It's been years since I've had this pump so someone can correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it also had a similar life span to that of the Freestyle!
Have you had trouble with it not syncing to your phone and hitting stop but the Stat page doesn't appear. I've had to manually enter my info after turning it off because it doesn't automatically revert to the stats page after pumping. I've been thinking about unpairing and repairing it with my Bluetooth. Just curious if you've encountered the same issue
FTM! thanks for your videos, ive learned a lot about breast pumps and storage bags. I have a question about the sonata, is it like the original medela where the milk goes back into the tubes? or does the new bottle help with that like the lansinoh that it was that purple rubber part where it prevents the milk from going into the tubes. Thank you!!
Does the app allow you to track manual pumping sessions? I am getting the Sonata, but also have a PISA. I want to know if I can track my PISA pumps in the app
Look at baby buddha pump, they have breast pump hacks for other breast pump parts on their website including freemie. I m sure the set up is the same for medela.
In theory if you took the adapter from the end of the tubing that comes with the pump and connected it to the plastic tubbing that comes with the cups you should be good to go. Might need to add a little tape to tighten up the plastic around the adapter so that you get good suction.

Is it safe if I can I use sonata while plugged in? Will the pump motor be broken later on? May battery doesn't work anymore.

Does this pump has lifespan like Medela freestyle ?

I never had that issue momma. I would reach out to Medela’s customer service! I’ve always had good experiences with them!
Hi! Do you have to pair it every time you use it?
Hey! Nope! Just the first time😊

Happy to help momma! The sonata is a closed system pump (:
Does this input the amount pumped? Or is it just the time that automatically flows into the app?
Just the time! It doesn’t count the ounces, you have to input that.
When you first connected it, it showed how many hours are on the pump?
I’m unsure bc I haven’t used this in quite some time. Hopefully someone else can help tho!
Very helpful!!!! Thank you
So happy to help!💕

I believe so but I'm not 100%. You could download it now though because it is a free app
