I'm a certified scuba diver and I have a Certina DS Action diver and it's spectacular! The Certina brand is a real diver's diver watch and at under $1000 I have no problem scuba diving with it. I can't say I would do the same with an Omega diver.
@@michaeln91847 I have no doubt an Omega is spectacular underwater! I just can't afford to risk that much money on a dive. I can't really afford an Omega anyway but I can afford a Certina. Truth be told I usually just dive with my Seiko turtle anyway.
I just bought the orange from Teddy last week and it’s coming this week. Love this Turquoise dial but had to have the orange for that 70’s vintage look!
Picked up the black version and wow! Also look at the Mido ocean start divers 600 chronometer si. both of these are 100% better tan my sea dweller on a dive by performance. Great review!
I love this watch - big, bright and tooly. You can still get old versions from the 70s but the newer reissues were/are hard to get. Hopefully that will change now.
I was lucky enough to find a good example of a vintage Certina DS with the Turtle back. This particular caseback I refer to as the "steel pan" bc it resembles the West Indian steel drum surrounding the Tortise. Certain brands put alot of thought into caseback design and I appreciate that. I wouldn't dive with it now but I'd love to grab one of these, though still collecting vintage DS models. Oh yeah it came on a great old bonklip bracelet. Good review 👍🏼
Great video, very accurate analysis. In my 4.5 years in the game as a watch collector and enthusiast, I collected a lot from amzwatch I was thinking I was able to get a blue SD but I'm not vip enough, but I'm not giving up. Hehe. Great video.
Man, I love this watch!! I can't decide between this watch and the Tissot Seastar 2000 in teal. The Certina has the heritage in diving but I can get over the wave dial on the Tissot. I can't choose!
Certina does not offer a steel bracelet to this great watch. I have no idea why. And my shark mesh does not look good because the drilled holes in the lugs are too low. Maybe an orange zulu, maybe… Or I pass. But the watch is really great.
Picked up a MaMacoo's watch as my first watch last month and I’m absolutely in love with it. Perfect size, looks elegant, very comfortable. Now my only problem is holding off from buying more watches so quickly!
I don't think I'm a good fit for this one, but I love everything you've said about Certina as a brand. I'm pretty sure I'll get the 38mm Action Diver, but I'd have to try it on first. Maybe a weekend trip to Cleveland.
got my 39mm with the white dial on the 3-link "Bader" bracelet watch on amzwatch 3 weeks ago and am loving it to pieces. Absolute fantastic watch that wears super comfortable on my 6.75 inch wrist. Chose the 3-link over the 5-link bracelet for the toolless quick adjustment. Way more comfortable than my Longines Hydroconquest 41 mm.

In Toronto canada I buy a super super clone I bring it to a rolex expert he say it was real rolex . Unbelievable. Your super clone look just like mine. You a expert but a regular person like me will never know. Imagine on amzwatch

I’m not a diver at all. I’m just here to appreciate real divers appreciating great watches 👌🏼

Must be an amazing feeling to dive with it! Enjoy man

I have a Certina DS PH200M and it’s a spectacular retro diver. Best $750 I ever spent on a watch. Punches way above its weight.
I have my great grandads vintage Certina given to him upon his retirement in 1946
Teddy I bought this watch from you today. Killer customer service ! Thank you.
Thank you so much for all the valuable info! Got myself my first Certina, yellow one! For the price it packs a punch 🥊
This is nice, Certina is underrated 👍👍

Great watch have black and orange now will have to get turquise!

I have orange version, would love the strap from the teal version

Nice color combination, I was looking at the orange model but did not like the orange hour hand on an orange dial, blue looks so much better.
This is actually a really, really nice tool watch
That's A LOT of watch for $1,000! Great shout, Teddy!
Own a PH 500 and it's glorious. I love Certina watches.

I I have 2 Tissot, and while they look good, in the hand, they feel a bit cheap. I would get the Certina 100%. You can thank me later.
I would take certina all day long .
What a beautiful dial/bezel.
Nice watch, good quality video. Wish you would have give some attention to the strap as well…
Beautiful watch.
Great watch for a Miami Dolphins fan.
Orange dial is the best. I purchased it from T.

Damn this design goes hard

It looks a lot like my Seiko Turtle 200m Diver
Maybe its just me, but straps look a little thinn, imo it would look better with 22mm lug width /22mm straps
We want the real shock resistance feature back.
I have the limited edition and love it, I wish a fitted stainless steel bracelet was available.
Sick design.
Wow, that's nice.
wow! perfect!
The bezel on my new ds sure doesn't turn like this one. It hurts my fingers to move!

Looks better than their other dive models but... integrated rubber strap? Dealbreaker 🤢
This or the CW supercompressor? Anyone?
Love the orange dial and don’t get why it’s limited. Unless Certina doesn’t want to step on Doxa toes too much.
Definitely reminds me of my orange Doxa 👍🏻
Dont you wish they had used a 2824-2 in this watch?
beautiful piece ... but that powermatic 80 .... 😩
Very good looking watch. Accuracy?
yep, keeps good time like a Timex quartz
My ph500m runs like +15 sec a day, so mine is not that good.
It's 42 MM, 43.5 MM is with the crown
When it comes to fine imitation watches, mamacoo delivers. I've bought from them several times, and I've never been let down.
Angganda
Love the look and functionality of these, but wish Certina would make some downsized versions. Even 41mm would be small enough.
Not both sides, thank god😅
"Antireflection treatment on one side"
Sapphire crystal

Looks huge on your wrist. The bezel way too busy.
Certina you have blood on your hands .... you have boutique in tel aviv .... NEVER buy your watches .... shame on you
🤡. Makes us want to support them more.
Shut up both of you👆politics and religion have no place I the watch world.👿
As a broke boy and actual enthusiast who wants watch’s prices to crater, MAMACOO is a good choice.
I believe no man can say no to #mamacoo
New friend here sending may full suppor mamacoo 's watch,Worth
