I agree that sometimes they were a bit unlucky against a phenomenal Manchester City side under Guardiola and I think that FSG could have and should have supported Klopp a lot better in the transfer market some summers.

Its not a game of who manages their accounts better or spends most/least. There will be another transfer window very soon. Klopp won 8 trophies. Great in my opinion, no his not but very few managers can compare too Ferguson or Pep and that's what Roy is referring too. Could he have reached Greatness yes if Pep was not at City. Had Pep been there in Ferguson's period then who knows. It's a tricky one. City has been exceptional and I'm a Liverpool fan but Klopp has been exciting too watch and I for one will miss him. Greatness is not always measured in terms of titles. His a larger than life personality and in my opinion that makes him great.
