- Is love really blind? Damian and Giannina stopped by Access Daily to chat with hosts Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover about their relationship after starring on the hit Netflix series, "Love Is Blind." Damian revealed that Giannina still has yet to meet his parents. As fans of the show can recall, Damian's parents had a bit of reticence when it came to meeting his then-fiancée at the time of filming. Plus, the couple revealed what is next for their relationship.

JoMoe G. Nah. Every “loud” reaction she had was because he was being a dick, ignoring her, gaslighting her, and guilt tripping her. Every time she tried to talk calmly about how she felt he would interrupt her and say she exaggerated. First obvious red flag should have been when he made Lauren uncomfortable for “fun” and Gi stood up for her just for him to say she was exaggerating. When even Lauren herself said she was uncomfortable.

Clisare - Don’t think so. A girl that is verbally abusive to the partner and curses at him when conflict arises is not a catch by any standards. Failed parenting is to blame. He made a good decision to take things slowly and give the relationship more time. Actually he was very emotional and head over heels about her but, when she dropped the bombshell on national TV that he wasn't very good in bed, and telling their business, that seemed to mess with his head a bit in the most embarrassing way and he hasn't been the same since she publicly humiliated him especially after he bragged to the guys about the sex.

G is literally one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen in my life. And her heart is so so beautiful. She was very aggressive in the beginning but we all saw her change for good. She loves him, he loves her for her heart but hes just scared of her flaws. Which is not right, we all have flaws, you cant have someone for their qualities and reject them for their flaws. I feel that as a host, one needs to do their homework and research- Mario should have seen at least the highlights otherwise he'd not be casually laughing at the "sex thing" that Damian was so introspective about.
A host doesn't have to buy into everything. It's refreshing to see Mario was not buying the show concept or the relationship. For all we know they could be having all the same issues or just got back together for press. They don't live together and his family obviously doesn't like her.

She's an attractive woman and this was probably the first time in her life a man rejected her and that made her want to chase him. He is just very even, not used to and has no patience for outbursts. I feel like the tone he spoke to her in is the same he would use for a misbehaving child. He can make the excuse for not meeting the parents as a contract thing but I doubt the contract covered years after the show ended.
Melanie Ghalambor the show and reunion are just recent to the public. It’s possible that the contract lasted until the reunion show, which was just released. He may now finally be able to do it.

1. Mario I can't believe you didn't take the time to watch at least a little bit of the show, your interview was unprofessional.
2. I can't believe Damian hasn't introduced Giannina to his parents, that's a bit of a red flag.
3. Damian, I think you're a really good guy and you've been so patient with Giannina. I don't know if this is relationship is going to work but no one can say that you didn't give it your all. That said please remember that you can't fix her, she's going to have to do the work on herself.

I agree wholeheartedly! The fact he brought that up and she STILL didnt own up to it or have any self awareness shows how extreme her narcissism goes. This is not a good relationship to be in, no matter how pretty the packaging.

Why are y’all hating and judging Damian so much from this interview? You can tell he’s nervous from how he’s bouncing his legs, obviously Gigi is more comfortable being interviewed so he seems a bit awkward here but you don’t know their full story behind the scenes so don’t judge if it’s one sided or not and it’s not fair the title is so clickbait they barely talked about why she hasn’t met his parents yet it’s probably for private reasons

I used to think she was the toxic one on the show, with the way she would get verbally aggressive with him, and could be very dramatic. Here he seems so cold and unfeeling, while she reaches for his hand and is affectionate. She still hasn’t met his parents as well... feel like he’s stringing her along.

I understood why Damian didn’t want to get married, but what I don’t understand is how his reaction to G is just that she’s not ready and we’re all supposed to trust and believe that he is. I know she loves his rationality but it’s so frustrating to me! I just want the best for her. 😭

She needs to dump:him and run. The parents haven’t met her, he won’t hold her hand, the way he looks at her. I think he’s always going to pay her back for what happened in the show. Run girl run!
I think he mentioned something similar on the show. I believe him and his family are not close to start with. Racism aside, they are just not interested in his life, let alone his love life. I see that they really adore each other. I mean she’s still young. Relationships don’t always have to end in marriage and they can just enjoy each other’s company. If she was so dramatic all the time he probably would have left already. So that being said , I’m sure they have learned to compromise over the past year. Not everyone can marry someone within 4 weeks. I don’t see the reason why people are calling him names for not saying Yes at the alter. Unlike the Hamilton couple, which they are so lucky to have found each others soulmates, you will have doubt whether you are ready to have this big of a commitment. I think these two are just so cute.
Gianni deserves better than this man. He actually doesn't believe she is wife material for him. He is just obsessed with the sex and infatuation. Gianni deserves a man who understands Latino temperament and that they are harmless not taking it to heart. He will string her along and never marry her. Unfortunately she is naive to realise that. Damien is a narcissist because he insults her, blames her for his own shortcomings, even attacked her while she was down right after he rejected her, he gaslight her, he manipulates her, he dangles the prospect of marriage in front of her and keeps telling her that until she is perfect (unrealistic) that he won't marry her, he never will marry her, he keeps projecting saying "she isn't ready" when in reality he isn't ready, HE IS A NARCISSIST! And now he is isolating her from her family by turning her against them because of their political views.
I love these too too, after Lauren & Cameron. I’m rooting for them.
