We stopped by this past Saturday, our annual trip from PA. Had the delightful pleasure of meeting your sweet Momma. She is so precious we chatted for quite a while. The signature garden is absolutely gorgeous, we loved taking our time looking at all the colorful blooms and the fountain is beautiful. Thank you for providing so much inspiration to all gardeners both near and far. Just love all that you do please know how much you, Jerry and all at Creekside family are appreciated and loved!
Jenny, did I miss the Wedding? We were out of power last week. You have the most dynamic varieties of perennials anywhere. Thx. cgzone8
I was wondering about the wedding as well.
Wedding was moved to an inside venue due to weather
I had the same question! I thought I missed the announcement if there was one. I’m sure it was beautiful❤
❤❤❤
Jenny, someone just gave me a limelight prime hydrangea in a pot. It is a your 5 ft tall. They did not cut it back in the spring and now it has no flowers. The foliage is beautiful though. Is it too late for me to cut it back?
Good Morning Jenny and Jerry, it’s truly amazing how beautiful everything is looking in such a short time after the devastation of the storm. ❤
Good morning Jenny and Jerry, my mother in law had a hydrangeas that she says doesn’t get blooms, I ask her when does she prune it, she said in the spring, I told her that she is pruning off the new blooms and that she should prune it after the normal bloom time ( because that’s what I learned from Jenny) she just says “ well maybe “.
This is the creeping year for my coneflowers. I can’t wait to see them in the leaping year ! 💐💚🙃
Good morning Jenny and Jerry!! I missed you this weekend. It was my birthday trip. I hope that you and the family enjoyed your trip. I did enjoy myself on my first trip. The 2 young people who helped us were so sweet. I was able to get everything that I came for. Hopefully, on our next trip, we will meet. I wish that I knew about the daylilies when I was there. Thank you!!!❤
Love the nursery tour updates as they don't just inspire me to dream about new additions but also to get useful info about what didn't do so well in my garden and why. Thanks, Jenny! Getting excited to visit Creekside again in 18 days! 😎
Love watching your videos. It’s so hard for us in eastern Nebraska to get our hands on Proven Winners. We used to have a garden center that would have PW but now they only carry a tiny amount. The big box stores carry some stuff but usually not what I would hope for. Maybe someday but for now I will keep a list and watch videos. Thank you for sharing. Always informative and a delight to watch.
This video has been so informative! I started taking gardening seriously 3 years ago. Started with Hydrangeas which are massive now. They need to be transplanted away from my front windows…too tall…no matter how
Much I chop them down they grow back bigger and better…hehe.
You have been a wealth of knowledge and inspiration since day one. You gave me the courage and know how to defeat my “black” thumb…well drill irrigation help too…hehe.
I am now creating a backyard plan. Drip has been installed and I’m ready to plant. This video gives me soooo many great ideas! Can’t wait.
Thank you always!!!!!!!! Ready for the shade video…taking notes😊
What type of hydrangeas under the window? As a new gardener 2 years ago, I planted little limes under a window, I was misguided by the word little...so far they are not too big but this 2nd year they are HEALTHY....and I'm crossing my fingers they don't get above 4 feet with blooms!
Good morning, Jenny☕️I have a hedge of the Edge of Night Hybiscus and they grow so fast once they emerge. 🙌🏻👏🏻👏🏻 I wish I lived closer! Have a Blessed Day😊🐶
Greetings from Ireland, Great selection of plants, We have Daylilies, Echinacea, Shasta daisy and Beebalm, They are great flowers for pollinators.
Those butterfly 🦋 bushes are really beautiful! 👌 😀
Raspberry Beret 😂 wasn’t that a “Prince song”. Pretty!!
Hi there Jenny: Good to see all your beautiful flowers, shrubs etc and ,of course, you as well. I have coreopsis, daylilies, dasies, heuchera and hydrangeas so far in my garden I need to make more decisions and when I watch your videos they are so helpful with what to plant next. Thank you! One day I looked outside and there was a telephone pole on my lawn and some other neighbors have one on theirs. Can always plant around so garden soil is on the way. It was a good gardening day and worked three hours with only a couple of short breaks. You must be very busy at Creekside Gardens as I know it is a popular garden center where folks are warmly welcomed!
If I absolutely HAD to describe the scent of a Gardenia, I’d say Honey Butter is close. It’s a sweet and buttery smell to my senses.
PW has so many delightful perennials! The Summerific hibiscus is one of my favorites. I have Holy Grail and she is stunning every year. 🌺
VERY GOOD TIP ABOUT SUN MAPPING AND TAKING PICTURES EVERY HOUR ! 💐💚🙃
As usual, everything is looking beautiful!
So many beautiful perennials I would love to add in my tiny garden, Thank you for all the ideas and tips Jenny
Thank you Jenny and Jerry see you next time.💐💚🙃
Looking so pretty, sweet Jenny.
Hi Jenny 🌺. I enjoyed this beautiful video about these pretty plants . Have a great day .🌺🌻🌺
Jenny I just love your presentation 💕💕💕 wish I lived close enough to shop there! Love your outfit and hair style today! So pretty❤️
The plants are beautiful, but I also love your dress. It’s so cute. 😊
Thank you! 😊 Can’t go wrong with a seersucker dress from LL Bean!
Good morning Jenny, I traveled 2 hrs to Creekside last year for the first time and purchased the hibiscus holy grail and the vanilla strawberry hydrangea along with some bowling ball arborvites! They're coming up nicely! I can't wait till they bloom😁
When should you separate your daylilies? Mine are getting out of control.
How I wish I could shop in person you have the nicest plants !Love all your information. From central Mo.
Jenny, this has nothing to do with the plants, which are gorgeous as ever, but you have worn the prettiest blouses/tops lately. You look lovely!
Beautiful ❤️🌸🦋
Miss Jenny, you look cute as a bug’s ear today! Thank you for all your videos! ❤
Love Diamond Spire Gardenia! :)
Would you be willing to give us shallow root plant ideas to plant a septic drain field ?
Yes! Great idea
Gosh, I wish so much I lived by you. I would be at your place every week Jenny ,I was wondering if you were going to get a chance to show us all of your roses and what they are looking like at this time of year, I would think that they are all blooming.
So many pretty flowers:) you always give us great info. on the plants and that is truly appreciated:) How was the wedding are you going to show pictures of all the beautiful flower beds:) ??? Tfs and God bless:)
I ordered a new Watermelon ruffles hibiscus from Garden Crossings and I can’t pick it up until June 17th 😢💐💚🙃 I do understand that they time to come out of dormancy up here in Michigan. 💐💚🙃 I was surprised to hear you mention Watermelon Ruffles hibiscus 🌺 I don’t hear it ever mentioned. 💐💚🙃
Such beautiful plants! And Jenny, thank you for the detailed information you always provide. Btw,who comes up with some of these plant names? They're pretty funny 😄
Hey Jenny...great video.. question..do you ever plant the vinca plant?
Jenny, the wedding didn’t happen at Creekside? I’m so sorry all the work you put into preparing didn’t come to fruition. Too much rain?
If you can, please fill us in. ❤
Yes it was moved to an indoor venue. Rest assured our property is beautiful and ready to go for all our customers and the signature event
@@GardeningwithCreekside I’m so sorry
Love the plant ideas, but, Jenny…I adore that dress! I must have it😊😊
LL Bean my friend! It is SO comfy!!!!!
These are gorgeous plants. So healthy. I am taking out two little limes, 6 years old and gorgeous, but I cannot keep the deer away, even covered and covers staked. The deer just push the netting up with their heads and eat them anyway. Spraying is hit and miss. I love this plant but can’t keep it. I’m putting in Pugster pinker, which they won’t touch, I think!!
How was the wedding? I sure hope it went well!! Love the inspiration the video gave me today!! Thanks so much!!
Fantastic!
Loving all the perennials, was wondering if allions will keep the red lily beetle away from my lilies? Trying to look for plant pearing to benefit each other. Thanks again. Have a wonderful day.
Still hoping for the nursery to carry SUN HOSTA. Would be gorgeous paired with hibiscus. Total full sun combo.
Hi Jenny. I love watching your videos and Brenna is one of my favorites. Love how she pops in and out of the picture, lol. Question. I have added Plant Tone to my container annuals but my dogs love it and eat it. Last time I added coffee grounds but they still ate it. How do you keep Brenna from eating it? Must be the fishy in it.
When Brynna was 10 weeks old, she and I began 4 months of intense obedience lessons. From the very beginning as a puppy I would not allow her to sniff or become to interested in the fertilizers and/or digging in the garden (as a puppy it was very easy to redirect her with a toy or playtime). That obedience training has made ALL THE DIFFERENCE for our relationship. Sure she looses her mind sometimes and runs through a flowerbed when she knows she shouldn't but overall she is a great garden dog 😉
Holy Grail hibiscus scares me every spring. Zone 4 spring starts a little later. mine is just now breaking dormancy, about an inch high. I had a tag made that says "not dead yet" so I don't over plant it. there's a summerific that I think will be pink. have to make a new tag for it.
I need your opinion on a plant that you planted a while back, that I can't your video on. It is a Ruby Spice Summersweet. You planted it behind your chicken coop near the woods. Well, about 3 years ago, we bought it because the nursery said it would do well in the moist area of our yard and that we can easily control the size with pruning. It's a small intown yard. Anyway, it is nice, but it's already about 3 ft tall and appears to have suckers at the base. I think I remember you saying it can take over an area. We can't have that. It is still at a size we can dig up. So, what do you think? That nursery is about 45 miles away, and they are not good at answering their phone. Help! If you can. If you can't, we will probably just dig it up and give it to a friend with acreage. ❤
Does Monarda rebloom throughout the summer?
What is the bright chartreuse shrub just to the left of your right shoulder @11:35? looking to add that beautiful color to my garden.
Love these educational videos. Keep them coming. Question: Can a Little Lime Hydrangea thrive in absolutely full sun for over 10 hours? I live in zone 7B looking for a smaller hydrangea for my front garden, which now gets full sun ALL day long. We had to take our tree down 2 years ago, and I'm ready to plant now.
Ours grow in full sun
I just bought hydrangeas shrubs from Home Depot, Summer Crush. How long will it take them to bloom?
Jenny your looking so cute in that cap ❤
Hi ma’am!!
Dear Jenny and Jerry. I have been watching your channel for many years, and I love everything about you and your gardens. Unfortunately, I am scared of snakes, and now I'm afraid of watching videos of your beautiful gardens. When showing a snake, could you please add it to the title for those of us who are scared of them? You have shown snakes in several videos and given us a little warning and I closed my eyes, but adding it to the title would be more helpful. Thanks. May God continue to bless you and your beautiful family.
Hi Jenny, wondering why my Holy Grail Hibiscus grow is flopped/closed to the ground this year which is weird. First time it happened. Zone7b NC
Love the dress and especially your hair and makeup…lipstick brand and shade?
Do you folks have any recommendations on sawfly treatment for roses?
I use the Fertilome Tree & Shrub Drench for them. It works for my roses & hibiscus that are plagued by the sawfly caterpillars. gardeningwithcreekside.com/products/tree-shrub-drench-32-oz
I mustve bought the wrong aliums. Mine all already bloomed and were gorgeous and so fun for a week or two and theyve alresdy been done for a few weeks. Not sure what to do with them. Theyre still interesting ball looking things... but no more purple. They were bulbs in the fall.
That’s the normal MO for spring blooming allium, vs perennial allium which bloom later in the year. Those bulbs get cleaned up in a similar manner to tulips and daffodils, and they will bloom again next year.
Time for a signature garden tour ? 💐💚🙃
Great idea!!
Jenny I have been looking for a petite white Hydrangea
That Will tolerate the sun. Any suggestions?
Bobo would be my suggestion
106k...Very nice work...I have subs
Hey friend! So, none of my four perennial hibiscus came back this year. Are there some common errors I could have possibly made in caring for them and is there a chance they could still come back next year? 🤦🏻♀️ I haven’t lost many plants so far, so I’m a little traumatized. 😂
Are you really sure they are gone? I only ask because mine started coming up last week. I’m in 7a. They take longer to break dormancy. I have them in the same area for years and I can always count on them to come up after other plants are blooming.
I know not garden topic but...Jenny your makeup looks so pretty. What color/brand lipstick are you wearing?😍
Are you open in November/December? I don’t think so but need to ask! Would love to just visit when I go to the US. But we are going in November… 😵💫 Lots of love from Sweden! 😘🇸🇪
Click on the description link of the video. Opening : through mid December. There is also a link to the website and a tonne of information to plan your visit to creekside. These links are on all the videos.
@@Heather0804 Thank You 💜
Hey Jenny! I love all the the plants they are GORGEOUS, BUT can you tell me the brand and lipstick shade? LOL! They you and y'all have a blessed day.

Ok totally not garden related, but where did you get that dress????? I LOVE it! So hard to find a dress with pockets. LOVE IT!!!❤
Probably LL Bean

Jenny,
How did the wedding go?
It was moved to an indoor venue after the flooding
@@GardeningwithCreekside 😊
I am happy that their vows were consecrated, but sorry for all the hard work your team did to make it a beautiful ceremony.
Thanks for the update:)
Could you please tell me any cure for mosaic virus
There is no cure only prevention, if your plants have it disposal is the only option. I would confirm with a laboratory test
Jenny whereeeeeeeeeeee is the water? Lol 😆
🙋
I may have made a big mistake,I moved my WHITE WEDDING to fun sun late last fall ,we shall see 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️
It should be just fine
Hi Jenny and team. I was disappointed the other day to shop at your nursery and interact with Jerry. All of the other staff were friendly, but Jerry was unprofessional and seemed very disinterested to myself and other customers. We expressed excitement from traveling from out of state, and he was unpleasant when asked about the wedding. I enjoy watching your videos, but am disappointed in the customer service even in light of the stress you have been dealing with. kindness goes a long way! 🙂🌷
Thank you for coming to visit us! We appreciate you traveling to visit Creekside 💗. I’m sorry you felt that Jerry was uninterested or cold to you. That is certainly not his intention. We are always happy to have folks come visit us whether they live 5 mins away, 5 hours away, or 5 days away. I would just encourage you to remember that by the end of May we are BEYOND exhausted and we are real people too. We have “off” days just like you, and there are moments when the exhaustion & stress of owning and operating a business show. I pray you understand that and extend grace to him. We look forward to seeing you again❣️ ~ Jenny
