My son used to eat there at Mang Tootz when he was studying at University of Sto Tomas. He used to bring home that turon as pasalubong for me. Thank you for featuring Filipino cuisine in your food blog.
Ying is so strong for carrying Micah around through such crowded and busy places! Also you guys must be so used to the heat already. Thank you Mark and your family for doing this and sharing these food travel vids with us!
As a Filipino living out of the country I love seeing Mark eat our favorite food. It brings me back to the good old days. It's not just the good food but all the memories I had back there :'(
Sisig seems like a favorite of the people in the Philippines. I was also surprised to see how much love there is for bakeries and cakes. The mango cakes there are amazing.
I think "Hooters for Christmas in China" was my favourite video on Trevor's channel. It was so funny seeing Trevor getting distracted whilst doing his food review :)

I love how welcoming every place in the Philippines has been about Mark filming. Here in the States, recording in restaurants is not always accepted. And I remember Mark also was not allowed to record in some places in Japan and China, I believe. I am loving this series! As a Filipino American born in the States, it has renewed my curiosity about my country of ethnicity. Because the Philippines has thousands of islands and provinces, I wish Mark could visit them all and film the sights, beaches, other hidden gems, though I understand it is not easy or always safe bringing Ying and Micah.
I've watched food videos and shows for almost 20 years .... obsession first started with movies showing bits of cultural foods then Andrew Zimmern. But you Mark, explain it thee best!! Love your adventures the most
