This is part two of a duology with "The Apocalypse." The two songs are about the atomic bombing of Hiroshima with "The Apocalypse" being about the actual bombing and "Under the Red Sky" more about the aftermath. Midori uses a slide on both songs, something she doesn't do on any other LB song so far.
One of the two songs related to the atomic attacks on Japan. The other is “The Apocalypse” On the same EP as this is “Above the Black Sea” which references the Kamikaze. Nice to have you back reacting to the best band ever.
Another perfect gem by Lovebites - what a formidable band they are.

Lovebites never disappoints!! They are epic in the true sense of music, and this song is yet another example of their compositional genius. It's a nice break when they have a song like this that doesn't just speed into your face with all power (which is what I love most about Lovebites). FYI - the sound quality of the music wasn't as good as some other reactions I've heard from you. Always enjoy your reactions.

Thanks for more LOVEBITES! Under The Red Sky is quite a song, and as you can appreciate, Haruna plays like this at the end of a two-hour show, playing this as final encore! She is unsurpassed among all drummers I have heard & seen in my own long drumming-life. So inventive in her use of cymbals & fills, the way she combines kicks & toms to emphasize the 'melody' of the songs always impresses.
Concerning the 'audio quality' mentioned by another and noticed by me, I reviewed your LOVEBITES reactions and found that when you performed your very good "Epilogue" cover (February 2022) is when the songs you react to stopped being in stereo and became mono (same out of both channels). This effects the sounds by 'cancelling' some when they get mixed & emphasizing others. Apparently you changed something when recording that while listening to it at same time. All LOVEBITES reactions since have been in mono.
I checked one recent other 'reaction' which also had the song in mono. It will improve the audio quality significantly if you can reset it to stereo, as that is how all bands mix & master for their intended 'sound' which LOVEBITES sends all their raw-tracks all the way from Japan to Finland to have them mixed in a particular way. Thanks for considering it. 🐺
