Hi, look for a LDS family food storage place, or start collecting mason jars, oxygen absorbers, you can get rice and beans pretty easily where you are. Hope this helps !
@@R.Sampson a lot of places will ship to the Caribbean....look for mylar bags, 7 mil usda approved, look for LDS, they ship worldwide....it is the church LATTER Day Saints, they have places all over the world. hope this helps...mylar bags would ship the cheapest and easiest...check out pack fresh usa...they may ship to you.....
how hard is it to can tin tomatoes and other wet stuff? sorry all this is quite new to me and I'm getting a bit of overload hope you can help or direct me in the rite direction

hi...some of the large coffee cans are # 10 cans....if you need #10 plastic lids, check out LDS food storage site, they sell the number 10 plastic lids, house of cans sells them and Berlin packaging. if you were close I have some I could give you.....ty for watching!
@@technician775 So i went to the LDS site, i typed in lids, i typed in coffee can lids, i dont see em. This is part of the problem i have is I dont call em the right name or something. I tried looking throught the food section for containers n such, nothing about lids i need there either.
You didn't sterilize the cans and lids? You didn't process the beans to kill the critters? No vacuum? I am skeptical and think you will find bug casings in the future.

Hi, unless you hare very experienced in wet canning, i would stick to buying commercial packaged items. you can get extremely sick doing it wrong. my .02 cents, TY!

Update: i did find one which sealed #10 cans and after sealing 50 cans, the right aluminum weld FAILED and another 20 cans later, the 2nd weld failed. So..... $1850 i got a busted product.
