This video was only uploaded for the benefit of a couple of friends, we had no intention for it to gather the interest it has. We are not claiming this to be anything other than a strange encounter based on some of the reasons below:
1) We were able to view the subject much better than what the video portrays as it was just a simple point-and-shoot camera. Contrast was excellent due to the snow behind the subject.
2) The subject was clearly bipedal and was without snowshoes or a backpack and wearing all one coloured clothing. Movement over this kind of terrain in soft snow without snowshoes would have been very difficult and the distance traveled over the given time period would have been very fast for a human without proper snow travel gear.
3) There was a very steep drop off below where the video was shot, easily a 300m sheer face. We were not equipped with climbing gear and descent around would have been impossible before nightfall to be able to try to pursue the subject.
4) We have encountered bears on the approach to this summit in the past, this video is most definitely not showing a bear or any other wild animal.
5) Perhaps the most reasonable explanation for this video is a very ill-prepared hiker, hiking up a difficult section of snowline as opposed to a much easier route, one who is very physically fit and able to cover ground in unusually quick fashion and must have had very large feet as we were breaking through snow crust in just our boots.
The amount of distance covered in the first two minutes of filming , in snow, is remarkable.

Sasquatches never show themselves at the perfect time. It's their strategy to ensure they're never caught.

No Bigfoot moves that slowly. That's ridiculous. Bigfoot moves far faster than that; especially in open ground.
@@chrisgrabowski2678 It's thick snow.
@Boxing 101 dude, at a distance, most things are black compared to the background behind them. Y'all are experts on bigfoot. Everything is bigfoot. Introduce me to bigfoot. I can give at least ten reasonable explanations for false bigfoot sightings. No one was down there measuring snow pack or calculating distances or on the opposing rock face. You are literally making something up because you cannot identify it. Get off your couches or read books or actually meet people away from the interweb because you need to get some common sense back.
I've been looking for this video forever now. I honestly think this is the most authentic Bigfoot video ever recorded. There's no way a human is moving like that in the middle of nowhere in the snow.
PGF and this one for sure
There's a recent good one from Colorado, if I'm not mistaken, where a Bigfoot is filmed from a train full of tourists turning on a trestle, he's just standing next to the tracks and staring at the noisy people on the train. There was a link on the C2C site.
@@SLC-zf8kdcan u try to link it? I have a video of a cryptid but no one I contacted is taking me seriously. It's a video over 10 Mins long. I just feel that the lack of support is why no one ever reports this stuff.
Okay, can you please clarify? Are you asking me to link a C2C video to this page? External links are automatically deleted by UA-cam algorithms as potential spam. And when you say you feel the lack of support for you as a witness, unless you want to sell your video (which won't be easy, trust me, I've tried it myself), you can upload it to your own channel.@@ky9263

I don't see a person walking that fast on steep snow covered slopes. I don't see any mountain climbing gear either. Any mountain climber would never put themselves on that slope without at least one other climber, tethered together with ropes.
"Walking in the middle of nowhere" like you guys...
Not alone . Stupid person maybe
These 2 guys are OBVIOUSLY not from Squamish or southwest British Columbia. If they were, they would know thousands of hikers, climbers, skiers and snowshoers have tramped over this region for decades, and at least a hundred loggers have been in the forests of this region every day since the 1950's. North America's largest ski resort, Whistler, is just up the valley and operational since the 1960's. None of them get photos of sasquatch.
@Boxing 101 ---you don't identify where you are from, although it is obvious you are not "from this kind of country". Yes, I have hiked and climbed all over BC and Alberta, and so have many, many others, sometimes alone, not wise of course if you get a sprained ankle or knee, but always leave a route plan and expected time of return with a responsible person. And no, no hiker or climber or backcountry skier, and they all carry cameras, has ever photographed a sasquatch in the past 50 years in Western Canada, and this area around Squamish-Whistler can see 500 people out in the wilderness on an average summer day, this video is in late Spring.
@Boxing 101 ---most of BC and western AB are wooded, although logging roads exist in many areas. A region not far from here does have an ancient Native Peoples legend of Sasquatch existence, and there is a credible story of a baby sasquatch captured in the late 1800's in the Fraser River canyon, 150km east of this video, by railway workers, many credible people saw it, or so the story goes..........this video area is actually more accessible than most of BC, we call one highway through 40,000 sq. miles of wilderness as accessible, go to google maps, and you will see how much of 366,000 sq. mile BC is unpopulated and inaccessible. Plus there is some truth about the speed of the creature in the video. So there is room to believe and speculate.....
@@canadaauroraborealis3958 it was moving quite fast....

We're all a sasquatch

And I got the hair to prove it
I'm not saying this is a Sasquatch but no human can move that fast uphill in snow. Jeez, it moved freaking fast.
As I watched, I was reminded of hiking up deep snow with my snowboard. A few steps and stop to rest each time. Would have taken me AGES to climb that high in the video.
Are you over 7 feet tall and able to perform marathons? Because in the real world people like that exist.

you have never seen my mother in law on her way to the buffet!!
I agree. This is one of the more convincing videos of a possible Bigfoot. Shame nobody ever seems to take a real camera with zoom capabilities when they are in these types of places. Phone footage is too weak
This is probably the best evidence I've ever seen of a Sasquatch or Yeti. That snowpack has to be very deep. And moving at that speed, there's no way that's a human being! This video and the Patterson-Gimlin film.
I have an authenticated BF tooth. U wanna buy it?
I’ve always wondered if it was a bear from that distance. Not sure if it’s winter, or the elevation.
Patterson is a fake
Remarkable the territory it covered in the snow at such a distance in a short amount of time. Would love to have seen more. That was much steeper than meets the eye.
What about the cuts? You don;t know how long it took to move around.
And at elevation too. That's a tough climb
Looks like a person trying to get to higher ground so he can get some footage of that pack of sasquatch he swears he can see looking at him from up the hill behind him ....

Lol!
...and his shaky, blurry footage is on here somewhere.
By far, hahaha that comment is funny as f***
Sounds like another human that has never hiked in high country elevation in the winter. I don't care who you are as a human ya just don't walk briskly thru that type of enviorment!!!
I read a lot of skeptics and I understand, but this video does raise to question. The subject was walking on to feet upright, and the video at the distance it was shot shows a very big lifeform. The distance it covered in a short time is quite a difficult task as it was going up not down. I have lived in the mountains, it is not easy going up hill in snow. Not at all, and not without breaks even for really physically fit people. It would have been awesome for you guys to have been able to get to the location it just left to see the stride lengths and tracks. We all want to disbelieve things, but there is quite a lot of sightings not in just recent times but through out history. I personally think that it is quite possible for and intelligent life form to remain hidden just out of pure survival instinct, We think as humans we are so smart because we develop tech for comfort, and can make stupid comments on FB or YT, but having been in nature quite a bit in life, there is so much out there that is just simply amazing if you take the time to look for it.
Also, when they pan around it is ciear there is NOTHING around for a very long distance. Where is that life form going? Why is it walking UP the mountain slope? It seems unbelievable to be a person. It moves way too fast in the snow and you can see it NEVER once stops to rest.
My theory is that it was a one Sasquatch and it must have had a cave habitat somewhere on that mountain slope. It had probably gone out to get food and was returning to its cave.
D.A. Thorndike Makes as good sense as anything else I've heard. Doubt seriously it was a person, there all by themselves and walking uphill that quickly
@@d.a.thorndike8772 I m familiar with that area. I haven't bothered to venture that high and out so far because it's an undertaking. Very dangerous if not prepared. It's a whole different view from up there and chance of getting lost is VERY good. I didn't see any colour that could be gear. It must be big paw. Or a now dead person.
@@karlkuoppala6555 whats the area
Finally, a clear, high resolution, perfect focus, non shaky-cam video that proves beyond a reasonable doubt the existence of Sasquatch.
The Gimlin footage was the first one to prove it. All the controversy around it was mainly to taint the authenticity of the footage. The footage is still being analysed today. Why is that?
@@andreyfendich the only logical conclusion must be Sasquatch!
Since we know this ORIGINAL Hi-Def footage, be it 1280 by 720 or 1920 by 1080 pixels, you can use simple math to calculate velocity per pixel and size per pixel. Since we ALSO know the approximate lens focal length at full zoom, we can be even more accurate. The being seen on the video is mathematically about 2.5 metres (8.2 feet) tall AT A MINIMUM and is walking at about UP TO 3 metres per second (or 6.7 miles per hour or 10.7 kmh) IN THE SNOW! No human can do that speed walking in the deep snow!
It ain't a human that is for sure!
V
Do a youtube video about it, and lets see. I think it would be so worth it if you did.
@@jramir2 Somebody else did on various other videos who ALSO used the same type of mathematics. It's basic algebra and trigonometry to do this type of calculation. I only need to know the lens focal length used at the time, the video frame pixel resolution and video recording frame rate and the approximate locations the recording and event happened.
Everything else is simple math!
The creature was BIG no matter whether the resolution was 720p or 1080p. It is STILL possible it was a tall 6'1" to 6'5" human but the speed of movement over that much terrain in such a short time kinda leads me more to the Sasquatch side of things!
v
@@StarGateSG7 oh sweet. I'll be on the look out for it!
Nice math nerd but the footage isn't a constant fps, viewport, or zoom level.
Trying to run the math on this is like Trying to build a plane while flying it
@@limbeboy7 The lenses are ZOOM which means FIXED focal at each zoom level and FOR EVERY SINGLE FRAME I can get the exact focal length and pixel distance.
You then do minimum, maximum, mean and average values of for the pixel size at the specific pixel distance. Even the camera movement and 3D-XYZ ANGLE can be accounted for.
After revisiting this video after your comment, I did some more calculations over the ENTIRE video which give me a more precise estimate of height and speed which now says 2.3 meters (7.5 feet) for it's height and its speed of movement is at 6.2 miles per hour or 9.97 mph! That is still far larger and faster than any human.
I was ALSO able to get actual ground level imagery of that area since I actually LIVE near Whistler/Garibaldi area (i.e. Metro Vancouver) so I can get locally-sourced imagery which lets me be even more precise. That area has ground features that are also much larger and much more rugged than I thought which shows just how FAST and AGILE the being was. It was far too rough and icy of any area for humans to be that fast!
V
Even though you can't see the subject in any detail, given the circumstances and surroundings, some sort of bf actually makes the most sense... for anyone who says this might be a lost hiker, and therefore explains the lack of gear etc, even a hiker who's not lost and has abundant energy wouldn't be able to cover ground with that ease and speed, therefore a lost hiker with no gear and food fuel, would find this task near impossible to complete, especially given the circumstances
If it was a lost hiker wouldn't it be wiser to head down hill instead of up hill.?
Whatever it was, it sure covered a lot of ground in less that 3 minutes! Human, Alien or Sasquatch... it was hauling ass.
That's pretty crazy.

If everyone knew how cumbersome it is to actually walk in snow, they'd appreciate how much distance this thing covered in such a short amount of time
Fast and sure-footed in very steep snow. No climbing equipment or other usual personal effects like a backpack. Seems familiar with, and confident in this forbidding terrain. And completely alone. Very intriguing.
I analyzed this video two years ago when I first saw it. Using Google Earth to match the view in the video, it was possible to identify some reference points visible in both the video and Google Earth. Superimposing points in the video track way at ten second intervals on to Google Earth imagery it was possible to closely estimate the amount of ground covered and the change in altitude of the subject. The subject covered roughly 452 feet through the snow with a total change in altitude, first down and then up, of 100 feet, at close to the speed of an Olympic class speed walker moving over level ground.
Kayla, I can understand your viewpoint considering the minimal data provided in my comment here. The following link is to the thread in The Bigfoot Forums from May of 2014 in which the video was discussed:
bigfootforums.com/index.php?/topic/47097-possible-sasquatch-in-glacial-valley-near-squamish-bc/&page=4
Starting with the 12th comment down under the screen name Airdale, the process I used in my analysis is developed over two pages of the thread including snips from the video and screen saves from Google Earth. If you have any questions after reviewing the data I'll answer them to the best of my ability.

As I watched, I was reminded of hiking up deep snow with my snowboard. A few steps and stop to rest each time. It was purely exhausting and I was in decent shape. Would have taken me ages to climb that high in the video.
Jeff Kindrick great comment!!! You forgot to mention that this the subject was also trecking through 3ft of snow on that incline.
Everyone leaving rude comments must know a person who can travel that distance, in a lot of snow, in a short period of time? If you do, let us know who it is so we can watch them attempt it. It's a great video that sparks the imagination. Nice catch guys.
no one will try that coz they're just busy sitting in a couch debunking everything without solid explanation and analysis, they're just sitting there without proving anything even in their own life. lol
Aaron dude trekking through deep snow in a valley in the middle of the mountains is not “hiking” lol, there is no pathing there, he or it is literally powering through snow, who knows how deep, and uphill, at a very fast pace. I don’t care how long you’ve been hiking or how good of a hiker you are, to do that uphill at the pace it is going doesn’t seem human to me, but hey bear grylls drank his own piss so he must be able to do that.

also, someone on top of a mountain
Yes, but it would be odd to be alone, and also, more weird to be dressed in a completely dark brown suit. No hiking stick is easily seen. Question is, it seems it would have been odd for a Sasquatch to randomly walk across a glacier, as well. They would naturally have no need to do that.
There's not "nowhere to go" that way, it's one of the lesser known ways to to the Tricouni area.
About 2km in that direction (over the ridge, down the gulley, across the lake and through a meadow) is a logging road. The powder mountain cat ski outfit grooms the road all winter, and in the summer there's active logging in the area. A very fast way into the alpine. Been in there on a sled in the winter, and many times in the summer.
Well these two winners must not know that. Bigfoot even knows that thank God!
Ummm? Now what?
Lies
One thing in common with all those videos purportedly showcasing phenomena never encountered before is how the very authors like to make unsubstantiated claims concerning how "absolutely no human being would XYZ" instead of leaving it with professionals to determine. Easy way to get enough gullies on your side from the get-go to keep that click number up.
I and another witness have observed prints way up above timberline on glacier in the Cascade mountains. Tracks were 14 inches long, fresh as can be, bipedal, distance between strides 4.5-5.5 ft. Followed tracks for 1.5 miles. They were no older than 50 mins. Do not be surprised by tracks above timberline and on ice fields. Likely food that draws them are pikas and marmots.
Hahaha... sooo Canadian... "Good thing we brought beers... we could lure him over here." Love it!!
I was just thinking the same thing
This is pretty strange. The thing that kind of freaked me out is how fast this unidentified person/animal was moving. That is a very large amount of ground to cover in the snow in a very short period of time. I'm stumped. it did not move like any wolf or bear I have ever seen moving through snow.Since the filming was continuous it would be interesting to map the ground and see exactly how much ground and how quickly it was covered.also measure a rock and see how big it was.
I was a mountaineering guild for years and whatever that was it was hauling ass. People don’t move that fast across snow.

Not bad. I was working the back roads of BC back in 1998. It was me and another buddy and we were building some roads for the government. We had the opportunity to stay in town but decided it would be more fun to camp out in the remote areas for the duration, being that it was so beautiful and we thought we may never get the chance to do it again, with kids and wives on the way. I set up the tent and it was getting late, Bobby started to build the campfire and out of the corner of Bobby's right eye, I saw what looked like a bear, a big bear, like 7 foot bear. I knew bears didn't grow to 7 feet but I thought he must be on his hindlegs. He was about 200 feet north of where we were camped out. We didn't have a camera and chances are even if we did have a smartphone back then, there was no way I was getting a shot. The thing moved so fast, speed of light but I did catch a glimpse of its face and it haunts me to this day. It looked nothing like the sasquatches we see in cartoons or on tv. It was a beast and its eyes were really close together. Bobby only saw the shadow as it ran into the dense forest. It makes for a good story around the table with a few beers but I'll be honest, it still haunts me to do this day. I wish I could identify what it was but I don't think it was an animal. For years my friends would make fun of the story, my 2nd cousin Wendell used to tease me and say maybe it was my ex-girlfriend Cassandra checking in on me but whatever it was....I guess it will remain a mystery. Good luck to ya's and until we meet again - BTW I own a snow removal company in Cape Breton and if your ever looking for some good deals, call me 24-7 or check out our homepage at www.drifterssnowremoval.com - Take er easy! Smashley506 Sorry but anyone who has every hiked in a freezing climate knows to move slowly, take breaks, rest. You dont just run up the damn thing, Also hikers tend to be more physically fit and wouldn't sweat profusely. Also, taking off your jacket in the freezing cold for ANY reason (unless its on fire) is extremely dangerous and stupid. Going from hot, cold, hot, cold shuts your body down because its in shock. Not into the whole big foot thing but why d people so strongly believe its true but yet from my knowledge have never found a rock hard piece of evidence such as bones that are fairly new from this decade, Some DNA from scat or fur, a decent recording or pictures (More then one) where you can make out features. Man you have no idea what you're talking about. I've done extensive research. You obviously have not done any at all. You listen completely to scientific data and that's it. Of course you're not going to find anything real in that category. It is hidden from the public; for reason's unknown. You have no research as far sighting videos and eyewitness testimony. There is a plethora of information if you take the time to learn the truth. I bet you're the type of person who believes everything the government and elites tell you. Fool. I love it when people who's entire outdoor experience consists of two weeks at Camp No Nuts call BS on people who've spent years in the bush. Anyone who goes that far out in the bush alone isn't a hiker, they're suicidal. People die all the time much closer to civilization than that. Also, if you don't think whatever that is is moving fast, try walking quickly through waist deep snow sometime, if you're not at altitude, plug one nostril and don't breath through your mouth, but make sure the snow is on your roof.

Hahah! I'm on Google News finding out some interesting stories and come here to find you posting from the remote hills of B.C.
You've gain a few pounds.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I can't lol
I believe you.
That thing covered some ground in 2 minutes.
Yep, that's why I was thinking. I don't know of any HUMAN who can move UPHILL thru HEAVY SNOW that fast, without stopping, stumbling, or falling down. Whatever it was did that with little effort. Plus that figure was MUCH larger than any human being..........just sayin'
So here's the scoop. The guys were near the top of Tricouni Peak at about 6800 feet facing SE toward Daisy Lake and Garibaldi. The "object" was about a half a mile away moving SE at around 5600 feet and hiking down the mountain toward the tree line and a logging road about a mile and a half away. There was no parking lot behind the boys but there was a road to the south about one and a quarter miles. Probably the road they took to get up within hiking distance of where they were when the video was shot. It would have made no sense for the "bigfoot" to turn south and hike to that road as it would have had to climb 1500 feet up and over the mountain to get to it and add more than a half a mile to the trip. It was heading in a very smart direction if you ask me. Going to the right of the rocks would have put it through some really rough terrain but staying along the left would have took it right down the valley toward that logging road. Most likely not a hoax but a miss identified hiker. I imagine he would have been in his truck heading home within an hour.
Michael Williams how was he moving so fast if he's a hiker ?
Dude- A large part of that video was of the subject going UP the mountain slope- not down it toward some logging road. @@galeafingerboarding5529
Half a mile??? You.are clueless!!!
Curious to know (because I’ve watched and rewatched this video hundreds of times) what happened after you stopped filming? Where did it go? I need an update please!
You almost never get updates like this, for some reason.
@@NateLinehan666 pretty obvious why. It’s scary how people that want to believe in something will convince themselves of anything that supports it. I’d love to see a legitimate video. U can tell by what he’s saying and how he’s filming it’s BS.
I was hoping to see it go into a cave or something. Where the rest of video?
Because when you are hiking in the mountains there is just no possible way somebody else had the same idea.
Holy fuck boys its Samsquamsh.
+Jonathan Neufeld we're going to need some baseball bats
‘Hey Chad! Me and Brad are gonna stay up here and film ya. Pretend you’re a Sasquatch dudeeee’
The person down there: I'm fast af boiii.
A biped out of focus ten miles away. That most definitely confirms that it is sasquatch.
If I were these dudes , I'd honestly say fuck it and do my best to get closer.
Not sure what time of day it was but I would really try and track this so called 'Sasquatch'.
I really pray some day I have an opportunity like this where I come across something unexplainable.
I'll fucking die trying to get concrete evidence, cause this is just SHIT. Could be some stoned dude lost.
+MattMzansi they probably didnt want to stray from their path and get lost on the mountain
+MattMzansi What if it did rip you to bits and stole your camera
Maybe thats its thing, it has a camera collection...
No one would ever know...
"I'll fucking die trying to get concrete evidence, cause this is just SHIT. Could be some stoned dude lost"
good point!
+MattMzansi You must have never climbed a mountain before, thats extremely dangerous heading out into the wilderness, especially un prepared
MattMzansi Clearly you know very little about this area and climbing in general. This is revolutionary footage. Kudos gents.
Great video, incredible Canadian footage! Never know what exists in the wild places of the world!
Most intelligent reply. I'm not sure what to say about this video myself, except who or whatever that is, is a long way away, is big, and is definitely covering ground quick. I live in northern MN., and snow in any form is tiring when you go that distance that fast. All I can say is interesting.
I watched the video on my 80" 4K Ultra and what ever it is it's walking up right on two legs, it's also all one color, and it isn't sinking in to the snow so it must have big feet, and it's also covering ground pretty fast for being 7000 feet up. I think this is the best evidence of Bigfoot Existence.
I agree completely !! This video - and I have watch 100's is totally real and Amazing !
I sleep in a big bed with my wife
Weird flex but ok.
Jkjk. I think it's a sasquatch. It's moving to fast to be human
If its human he or shes a retard. Roaming up there with looks like no gear. No colors anyway. I think it's VERYgood evidence even though cant see detail. Felt a little " squachmish" when I seen it. Betcha they did too.
Doesn't really matter if you have a 4K screen since this video is only 1080p
He's moving up that side slope like it's nobody's business.
Its far away and blurry, its definitely a Sasquatch.
No guy in a suit can walk that quickly up something like that in snow without even stopping to gasp for air at that altitude. Sorry Mr. Non believer but it's not a dude dressed up.
If *he* is "in the middle of no where" then so are you my friends.
Exactly what I was thinking, unless the guys filming got there by helicopter. But if they hiked there it's not the middle of nowhere.
The 2 guys are biologists
they cdnt hve covered tht distance in 2 mints in any situation thts snow ..
Mystery solved everyone . I have just shown this footage to my other half and she says it’s either an idiot man wandering around doing silly things that only men do or it’s a rabbit .
Ur other half said it's a rabbit? God have mercy
Two guys out in the middle of nowhere wonder why somebody would be out in the middle of nowhere.
THATS WHAT I CALL FREEDOM.
Most won't do the math, guesstmating he's big, & yes he's making a quick mile.
Most don't understand altitude, degrees of incline, depth of snow, how hard it can be.
LOL, did you hear one of them say "samsquanch"

It's very beautiful in that area, the Tantalus Range and the Squamish Valley. I've spent countless hours in remote backcountry areas and nature has her mysteries.
What is depicted in this video is quite amazing ,, it's not a bear and the only explanation I could come up with is that it's human.
But did you see how quickly he ( it ) went up that slope ? yes this is very strange indeed. I like the fact that there are no claims made as to what this creature ( man or animal ) could be but if it is a man I can't figure how he could climb that slope in the snow as fast as he did ??
neither can i, munnjean.
munnjean
Yes correct im astounded at how quicky it moved and it has to be 3-6 feet of snow? Just guessing because i don't exactly but i know a human wont be able to move that fast in deepish snow, just no way i dont give a fuck who you are nobody can lol.
The logical explanation is that it is not human.
I'm late to this Squatch-Con, and I have zero experience in snow and mountains, but could a human move that fast in...snowshoes? If he were an athlete and acclimatized?
It could not possibly be a human. A human could not maintain that speed in the snow. Maybe if it was just on the valley floor, but a good bit of that video is going straight up the mountain slope. The speed barely changes. A human would have to rest. No human could maintain that pace. Plus, no human would be out there with no gear doing that in the first place! It is obviously a Sasquatch. If you look at the video and break it down, there arr some key elements that make Sasquatch the only logical explanation. The creature NEVER once slows its pace or stops to rest. I guarantee a human , even a trained mountaineer would have to stop and rest. They could not keep up thaT pace. Plus- no human would be in the enviroment with NO GEAR! And there is nothing around for miles. NO campsites, no civilization. I have seen the entire video and they do a good job of panning the camera around. The area is all empty mountain peaks for miles in every direction. Where did that one human come from and where was he going scaling that slope? It don't make any sense
....aaaaand D.B. Cooper has finally been found !
But again...not caught
@db cooper I knew it !!!
@db cooper 100% committed to the joke.
I have watched this before and I think it is one of the best video's ever Awesome!
I wish we could walk that fast in snow, the distance that thing did in the lapse of 2 minutes is fucking incredible. Anyone that ever hicked in snow knows just how hard it is even with the right tools.
It's mind-blowing at how dumbfounded people can get over something such as this. They're actually lost to the fact that another "figure" is up there and that it could be human...just like the fact that they're there, "in the middle of nowhere."
Could be another
*Possible Hiker outside Squamish BC* fixed the title.
Exactly... but even more likely is something like a bear, which given the distances involved couldn't very well be distinguished from another animal.
***** you forgot your tinfoil hat the government activated the code in your head :OOOOOOOOOOOOO
Alright, I live near to Squamish. There is nothing that way. Walk for like 3 days and you'll get to Whistler but it's all steep mountains. BC is rich in Bigfoots no doubt.
I hope these guys called the park rangers to investigate that poor human lost in the mountain
Basically, all you hikers in the Pacific NW need to be going out with a long range drones. Get the footage and you'll be millionaires...
It could have been a human , a strong fit man wearing snowshoes who had a camp and tent somewhere which is where he was heading back to , or going to set up . You can move pretty fast in snow if you are used to wearing them . The guy filming said , What on earth is he doing there all alone ? but the same could be said about them . what on Earth are two guys doing up there on their own ? I have met guys in the wilderness miles from anywhere all on their own camping , exploring and just getting away from everything. Some people love that sort of thing . I do myself and have done it often enough especially when I was younger. On the other hand , maybe it was a Sasquatch but on reflection I think probably not . What I want to know is why didn’t the guys train their binoculars on the moving figure ? They must have had a decent pair with them but they never mentioned it . You ALWAYS take binoculars with you on a trip like that . And what about the possibility that it was the 3rd member of their team that they were filming and it was all a set up and they were all going to meet back up again in a few hours time to discuss things over the camp fire with a few beers . Just saying , It’s a possibility isn’t it ?
Gorden Gecko . Yeah , a bloody long time ago I did mate .
Jayne Eyre . Who said anything about a forest . Of course it’s a friggin mountain range and that’s why we go up there to get a bit of peace and solitude and get away from our women folk for a while . The danger is part of the fun and excitement . I’ve done trips like that on my own countless times and there are plenty of other guys who do it too . If you had of ever been up anywhere like that you would know that it is NOT an uncommon thing to find someone else wandering around on their own too . And yeah the figure did appear to be moving fast but when you are eager to get back to your camp in the evening before nightfall , you can move pretty quick on frozen snow when you have to .
Have you ever walked in snow shoes ? You can't clip along at 5+ km an hour UPHILL like that. They're not magic, they won't just keep you above snow like walking on water.
sounds like somet a sasquatch would say
Ok, so the guy filming this I believe is a biologist or some such thing. They got to that location by walking after being dropped by helicopter.
No binoculars were needed for what they were doing so no they didn't have any.
If the figure being filmed is a guy going to his camp he's probably the fittest person on earth for 1 for another you don't make camp on top of a mountain... thirdly you don't cross an ice field without gear and you never do it alone. I don't know what was filmed in this but whatever it is, it's very impressive.
I live in Squamish these guys are literally the middle of nowhere. There are no roads up there. Most people helicopter up. You can hike buy it would take you all day. There is nothing up there. No cabins or campsites or anything. I have never seen one myself but my wife has and she is the biggest skeptic she still doesn't believe what she saw. But yah there are endless unexplored forests here.
This would be the perfect time to have a wing suit! Swoop past and take a few pics!
My question is, why didn't you say yes when youtube asked if you wanted to steady the footage?
At least there's more evidence of a Sasquatch than God.
You want evidence of God? Look in the mirror, you are His creation...
Gauley guy why are we both here?
Curious as to why you didn’t film it longer? Or put up the unedited version, because I cannot be the only one thinking,’ Did they film until they couldn’t see It anymore?” Love to see where it disappeared out of range.
This comment is too sensible to be liked a thousand times.
They say it started in the valley nearer to them.... Why not film it there ... Also every mountaineer knows exactly how high they are ... Your questions are mine and alot of others .,.! 😊
@@firstman9273💔
Absolutely right
That is no human. Covering that kind of ground at such a steep incline, not a human.
Heidi Lawrence at that incline though and at that speed?
@ .036 to .039 you got best focus. That thing moved a great distance in 2 half min. Welcome to Sasquatch boy's. Send this to Thinker Thunker. That ain't no back packer.
That's not a sasquatch; it's the abominable snowman.
Abominable snowman ⛄️ white fool
Mike WV i saw that mike . Was interesting and the army seemed certain it was Sasquatch tracks!
yeti
Damn it where is Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer to blind it with his nose?
I’m curious where he went once he reached the rocky part of the mountain. Did he keep scaling that with the same speed?
Let's do some arm chair analysis. They begin filming at the dark line. The other dark line down the valley is a good marker. Think of the Mr. Foot as a football player on a field. The distance between the two dark lines is at least two football fields long, more likely 250 yards. As a golfer I could say it's more than 250 yards, but not 300 to the second dark line. Also notice he second dark line is in parallel with lines on the hillside. Mr. Foot walks right up the (steep) hill and barely skips a beat. I think he did stop by the rock to take a leak, but other than that - he was moving with purpose. Between the scale I laid out, and the distance he traveled past the second dark line, and about 300 yards left of the dark line, I figure he walked 500-600 yards in 2:30. To be that fast - and not be running - Mr. Foot had to be covering an abnormal long space on each stride, not even accounting for the steep terrain, or the snow factor. No way a regular person could move that fast uphill in snow.
Ok, so for all the idiots saying that being is just a hiker.. let's just start here, if it was, it was almost 100% from the Squamish area. Same as the folks filming it.. so the alleged "hiker" would have almost definitely heard of this video, and would have made it known, he was just out in an almost impossible location, taking a simple uphill trek through snow, like he was walking down the sidewalk.. well, no one has came out saying it was them. And no one will.
He is going back to his home. Wife wants him home before dark.
To say "why the heck would someone be walking around down there, we're in the middle of no where" is the same as saying "why the heck would someone be walking around up there, filming me down here in the middle of no where" proving it's a well traveled hiking area by humans, I've seen photographers walk in more remote places than that to get a good shot of wildlife, they could be looking for a rare snow owl for all you know.
The mountain, and view is the only reason to be on that side (and there's a nice vertical drop off there) - there's a lake on the other side, but there's lots of mountain between the two. I've yet to see a photog who didn't carry his rig on a tripod, besides if you're looking for pics, the guys who took this have the best spot, not much to look at where that "guy" is.
It's a solo mountain climber.
He's already been to the top and is on his way back to high camp.
Really great footage. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for sharing. Great capture!
Middle of nowhere. Yet you guys are there. Lol
Yeah, like what IDIOT would be out here in this god forsaken place.
CSpray717 They’re on a different mountain would take all day to hike down to that next ridge
