    I worked with a BC guy up in Northern Alberta years ago. He was an avid hiker and camper in BC. He showed me pics and video of a pair of sasquatch he seen one day on a rock slide in BC. His jeep was stuck in a creek at the time, and he and his buddy watched the squatch for almost ten minutes. Although they were a long ways off in the video, I'm convinced they weren't bears. Bears couldn't go that far on hind legs on a rock slide.

I have to say that BC is one of my favorite spots when i'm out in the field doing research. It is just breathtakingly beautiful folks. Your in absolute awe of how vast the territory is. But at the same time how lush and forested it is as well. Just an awesome spot for birding or any wildlife viewing for that matter. So that all said, there is no doubt in my mind that there are Squatches living in this habitat. It's ideal for them they would have everything they need and then some.

    Cool! My home province so rarely gets any time in the spotlight. It's hard to conceive of just how unbelievably immense our wilderness is. It's like an untouched continent all unto itself. With very nearly every type of biome and terrain imaginable from deserts to glaciers to tundra to temperate rain forests, etc... Our small, scattered communities barely interrupt any of it.
    If there's an undiscovered great ape, or any other large animal, then this is the best place that it could thrive and successfully hide in. And our first nations communities have been fostering stories and carving artifacts about Sasquatch supposedly going back many centuries or longer.
    I lean toward belief while remaining skeptical. Which is a ringing endorsement in such an proof scarce subject.

    These animals are simply amazing. With encounters myself there awesome to watch in there natural environments. With heights between 8-10 feet and 4-5 wide at the shoulders. I believe they were here way before America was ever discovered. I feel like they’re a primate similar to gigantic pithicus with certain amount of intelligence that should be protected as a species. Great documentary and thanks for your research.

  • @macguffinvirtualproduction6183
    @macguffinvirtualproduction6183 7 місяців тому +10

    As a (mostly ) lifelong resident of beautiful British Columbia and having spent my early years in the heavily forested interior and coastal northern regions I can tell you with 100% confidence that any animal can easily hide and remain hidden if it wants to. A minimally intelligent Sasquatch could be standing literally meters from you and the only inkling you’d have that something was there would be a pungent odour, which would be dismissed as coming from a bear, skunk cabbage or some other composting organic matter.
    One thing that’s always made me open to the possibility of a Sasquatch is something my dearly departed grandfather asked me many many years ago. He said “In all my years of living in the bush and hunting big game from the northernmost regions to the southern Fraser Valley area I’ve never seen a dead bear, cougar, wolf or ANY predatory animals carcass laying around… but I know they’re there somewhere.”
    In the wild woods and mountains most animal encounters can be counted in seconds. I couldn’t count the times I was walking around hunting or getting to my favourite fishing spot on the river when an explosion of feathers and beating wings right beside me as a perfectly camouflaged grouse decided to scare me shitless! By the time my brain realized it was a damn bush chicken it was loooooong gone.
    So if someone finally stumbled upon a Sasquatch I wouldn’t be surprised at all.

    • @ALuimes
      @ALuimes 5 місяців тому

      Why would there be no *predator* carcasses?

    • @macguffinvirtualproduction6183
      @macguffinvirtualproduction6183 5 місяців тому

      @@ALuimes I’m going to hazard a guess (although I’m sure a predatory animal carcass has been stumbled upon and it certainly seems like a contradictory statement because I’ve found maaaaaany prey animal carcasses scattered around) that rarely are predatory animals consumed by other predatory animals. So what happens when a predatory animal dies? I know porcupines eat bones for the calcium, and maybe scavenging birds pick away at the decomposed tissues. But I’m at a loss as to why in the nearly 60 combined years my grandfather and I have wandering around in the forests and mountains we never once came across a predatory animal carcass. I think the point my grandfather was trying to convey is that just because we didn’t see their carcasses doesn’t mean they don’t exist. He was referring to the question of why hasn’t anyone ever found the carcass or bones of a Sasquatch.

    I worked at a Max security in BC for 20 plus years. .. i talked to native elders who were from Chahalis Indian Reservations where the name "SASQUATCH " originated. Several Native Elders told me stories of seeing SASQUATCH and families of them up and around the reservation near Chilliwack and Harrison Lake. Many encounters of then near rivers, eating salmon, feeding their young, and sightings near the deep wooded areas near lakes.

    I heard a voice in my head in 2018, and believe it was a sasquatch. His name was Kamooh, he introduced himself as an elder sasquatch. He said,
    "We need your help"
    "Sasquatch might not survive the anthropocene extinction"
    "We want you to be an ambassador and share what you know about us, with your people"
    "To be a great man, you must be a good boy first"
    "Keep your thoughts pure and true"
    "Pray, meditate, eat good food, drink good water, wake up early, work your body, wash your clothes by hand"
    "Star people watch you"
    "Stay humble, calm and focused"
    "Stay kind"
    "Female sasquatch move territory, males stay in the same area"
    "We use lithography"
    "We dont eat humans"
    "We are not nephilim"
    "Patty is still alive"
    "No guns"
    "Dont burn the forest"
    "Stop smoking"
    "We love you"
    And a few other things.
    Kamooh introduced me to another sasquatch named Rashanti.
    I was able to ask a few questions;
    - Why did you choose me?
    Kamooh answered, "People will find your story touching"
    - How many sasquatch are there?
    Kamooh answered, "There are about 40,000 sasquatch in north america".
    - How do sasquatch differ from humans?
    Rashanti answered, "Penis is longer"
    - Were your people created or did you evolve?
    I was shown a vision of the earth from space and a rainbow shining down to earth. It was in color and quite vivid. Space rainbow? Does that mean they were created by ET's?
    - How are you speaking to me right now?
    Kamooh answered, "Rashanti will teach you how to breathe, when you are ready".
    Then Kamooh said, "focus here" and I was immediately tapped on the center of my forehead.
    Wish I could have asked more questions, but that's it.
    Another point Kamooh mentioned was,
    "We have some things for your people"
    Then proceeded to tell me this:
    Before the burning of the library of Alexandria, select ancient scrolls were taken in an attempt to save them. Egyptians took those ancient scrolls to the americas. Eventually a colony of egyptians made it to the grand canyon. At one point there was a meeting between the egyptians and my people. Those ancient scrolls were given to us to keep safe. We (sasquatch) took the scrolls to caves in nova Scotia, then later to caves in Ontario.
    I heard this all very clearly in my head, what can I say.
    Good luck on your search for truth.

    Pasayten valley southeast of Manning Park headquarters along monument 83 trail there was something enormous that walked by our camp in the middle of the night. We had been flown in by heli constructing the trail for some time so were nearing the international boundary as i recall. This was 1973 BC Parks Branch trail crew led by Joe Hilton. We were fully outfitted with tents etc but tended to sleep under large spruce trees. We had a canvas tarp up for kitchen duty. The ground shook when this thing came through. It was bush whacking but no sound of cracking branches or such which was very odd. Just these heavy earthshaking footsteps. We lay in our sleeping bags afraid to breath let along peer out from under the spruce. It was totally dark out so wouldnt have seen much anyway. Have always thought if it was a bear it would have trashed our food cache but nothing was disturbed. It was those heavy footsteps and ya we were sleeping on cheap foamies that put our ears right on the ground but whatever it was had to be gigantic. Have wondered all these years what that was.

At dusk on the Trans Canada Highway and "something" ,was walking in the treeline 20 yards behind me to my right ,crushing leaves,snapping sticks as it walked.I almost sh*t myself in fear when I heard it,I ended up taking off my running shoes and walking in my socks( too make less noise on the highway ffs),then it wasnt there anymore.
    I distinctly remember those footfalls,they were a heavy step and maybe 2-3 seconds apart,when I stopped they stopped(thats when I took off my shoes and started sh#t) I started walking again scared outta my mind and ready to run like the wind...but then it was gone.
    I got picked up in barefeet holding my shoes.

    In September of '22, a friend's son saw a Bigfoot between the ocean and the treeline in BC. He was alone on a hike and I realize that this sounds very dramatic, but he hasn't been the same since...
    He was 40, a HS science teacher and avowed skeptic. Now he feels very strongly that these creatures require legal protection. Fwiw, the overriding emotion at the time of the encounter - surpassing fear - was that of immense compassion.
    And I find this detail interesting: the Bigfoot was holding something in his right hand that looked like - and I'm quoting - 'a fur pocketbook', i.e., probably a dead mammal that was the size of a beaver, but he didn't say that's what it was.
    I wish I could ask him about it myself, but he only told his Mom and was upset that she talked about it to anyone else.
    Fwiw, I only know 2 people who have seen one and the 2nd is a close friend who saw one in the 80s and made cryptid research his life's work
    Wishing safety and freedom for ALL wildlife - and praying we survive the very real climate emergency we face.
    Paz y luz 💫

    I'm very familiar with the Mount Currie Area northeast of Pemberton, which is 20km north of Whistler Ski Resorts. I hiked from Duffey Lake (ne of Mount Currie) through Blowdown Creek up Stein Mountain, down to the Stein River and eventually going east to Lytton B.C. (65km), took me 5 days. I went unprepared because I should have brought bear spray and a shot gun as I ran into bear on the north side of the river just before the cable crossing. I do recall something following me with bipedal foot steps when I was descending Stein Mountain. Got caught up in a real mess of Devil's Club and ravines on each side. God was with me. 5 years later I went through again with a girl friend. Things were easier the second time around. I knew about the sightings but didn't pay it much mind. This was all in the 1980's.

I traveled to BC last year for a week of ATVing. My guide beleiievd in them when we trail road in Whistler Valley. I won't get into all the details here and most of the online info regarding it has been removed by request of them but I have much knowledge about it and have seen and heard things a few times as well.
    That trail is the far boundary and I've spent many creepy nights there.

    Bigfoot is indeed real, but it is hardly a great ape. Gorillas don't have the ability to use language (as far as we know) or to use mind control on humans who tresspass into their territory. They are a highly intelligent human-like species that has been on the planet at least as long as we have, and they deserve our respect.
