I would 100% buy this if there were some good videos on how to implement it into a project and also how to disable or enable certain features of the creation process. For example not allowing the character to get headgear or a sword and to start with no clothes at all as an option just undies. Also showing us how to use the save system with multiplayer. Great work! Im interested.
better off looking up tutorials on how to make your own, unless you're only making one game, to eaches own, but learning to customize your own means you can tweak it as needed if ideas change any.
The UI and the model looks fantastic. Just like everyone else, I also want more customization options, base models, advance morphing and props. And I think the best way is for the app to have a community store where users can upload additional assets that meet your software specifications. Kind of like themes/plugins made for Wordpress. It would also be nice if the app can feature a private local store where users can store their custom assets for use in the app.
There are plans to bring additional artists on who can create their own characters and cloth/accessories. However, the UE4 marketplace doesn't allow for such products at the moment (dependant on another item). As soon as the marketplace will integrate this, we will get started with something like you suggested.
Not enough morph targets to truly make a new unique character, would basically just be remodeling the same dude and changing his outfits and hair, like he's some kind of actor changing for different roles. Also the art style is fundamentally flawed because it has this photo real approach to it in places, then other areas are more traditional semi-real like the eyes and hair and clothes, and it puts things in this kind of uncanny valley final result; his eye lids are really creepy and edged out, like he's a action figure or mannequin-man wearing a human skin suit. Overall not bad pretty decent, but for 100$ I honestly find it to be very over priced.
I agree, as harsh as it may sound to some. that is the main problem with photorealism. it's all or nothing and has a very high (99% unachievable) expectation. I think it's a little before it's time (for human characters anyway). Game devs should settle for the traditional stylized/semi-real. because when everything is uninformed well, it has a much higher appeal. I mean this as advice for anyone creating any game with a human character. the most realistic "stylized" art in uniform with only that type of art will have a much longer life expectancy (won't become out-dated as fast) than "photo-realism" because, honestly, it's not truly photo-realistic in most games, unless your MMO or FPS is about a plant in a world of plants; it just won't survive the test of time.

Yeah, I was watching when he was editing the facial features and it doesn't really appear that the face function can actually make a different face, just a slightly skewed version of the same guy. This plugin is amazing, but must facial customization would put it at the price tag.
Yep the facial features seen really lack on customization, you really can't do too much tha pull or push a little here and there, just the same face with little differences like make noise more up or more down, while he looks on the mark to make a good work still a little too much "basic" specially for it's price of 99.99 anyway still a good job just need more improvments
What do you actually want to be able to change in the face? The current morph targets are a bit subtle, but if you let me know what you want I can implement it.
Honestly just a wider range on the customization options you have. I'd like to see this plugin do great, you've done great work here, but it has much more potential! Look at something like the Elder Scrolls Online character creator, this has potential to be just as good. Again, great work!
Have a look at black desert online. IMHO, if you can make a character-creator like that in Black Desert Online ( and you are on your best way there) people will be TOSSING money at you, me included. I seriously can't wait until people will make something similar. I'm seeing all kinds of char creators popping up nowadays, but nothing comes quite close to "black desert online" in that regard so far. Thanks for the work you have put in already!
Pretty good, bet you put a lot of work into it, but maybe you should add a female and other races or face morphs. Which could probably be easily implemented as you could use different race models from where you got your base model. Continue to improve and you just may make a whole lot more sales.
Could you add custom clothing and morphs to this system - use it as a base? Also - noob question - I like the background with the circular gradient and bokeh particles - how did you do that?
great work. just a few questions. can i use this to create characters models for character selection in my project? can i just swap out my ue4 mannequins for the models i make with this? how may models can i make/save with this? and do all the unreal animations work with this?
Yes, you can use this for your character selection. However, it's not as simple as swapping out a mesh, since some Blueprints are involved to drive multiple parts of the character. Usually, the best way to make this work with your character is to make your own character class a child class of the customizable character. If you are having trouble with this please write a support ticket (support@cb-productions.de) and I'll help you out further. All animations that are compatible with the standard UE4 skeleton will work with this.
I have a couple questions that may seem silly. Can I use this, or a program like this to create characters and then save an image to print the character onto a playing card? I don't have plans to do this for commercial use in the foreseeable future but it could be a possibility. Does a program exist that lets you do this? I would pay for such a program. It seems like there should. Thanks.

woah this is cool and a HUGE time saver. Would we be able to add our own weapons/accessories? Maybe be able to add facepaint/scars or something? I love that you can use marketplace animations out of the box, $100 is cheap for something like this. I see it isn't updated to 4.16, but that's okay because I still have 4.15 installed and see no reason to update yet. Would you be able to provide a quick tut of a barebones character being imported correctly to an existing project? I'm just unsure of how I would be able to take this and then implement it into a project.
This looks good but like others have mentioned its not complete. For the amount of work that was put into this I would just continue on making it better. Otherwise there is not much customization to the character. The point of an asset is to have something already done for you, so if someone has to sit and figure things out its not so good. This asset can potentially be a $200 or more asset. I'm still eyeing this asset waiting for the female character and more morphs.

I wanna make a first person post apocalyptic Russian based game with guns and overgrown enviromeants with the plot being that Russia and America went to war and America used a bio-weapon that eradicated the entire population except for a few dozen people and the killed and dead turned into zombies due to the bio weapon, and you play as a women who didn’t escape and was left to die on one of the boarders and you wake up a year later in rainy cold wheather and you hear a guy say “help me” so using W on key board and left thumb stick on controller crawl your self over to him and when you get to him his face is bloody dirty and he grabs your arm and pulls you to his face and say “kill me” than a prompt will appear saying eat him E on keyboard and Y/triangle on controller and when you press that it cuts to black and slowly fades in on you eating his large intestines as you hear a rock thrown into a building, you go to investigate and hear a growl as another zombie takes the body and runs, the game then introduces you into the zombie mechanics as you fight him, wall climbing, quadrupedal and bipedal movemeant with quadrupedal being faster for movemeants and allowing you to walk climb, but bipedal movmeant being superior for combat. After the fight it runs away and jumps onto a building with body, and you hear gun shots, you get on the roof to find three heavily armed soldiers, they shoot you and knock you unconscious that’s all I’m saying till I get a com so that I can make the game because fuck you that’s my idea
You need a better character creator like Black Desert. It needs more range and beauty. This looks like every other generic character creator software like Daz and Poser.
Features are being worked on and will be enhanced. Currently, a female character is in the works: forums.unrealengine.com/showthread.php?145380-Character-Creator&p=741348&viewfull=1#post741348
CB-Productions that is a good start. This has potential. I just think you could blow it out of the water if you had different styles and those closer to what you see on black desert. Also I think if you also had an extra true anime game style like you see on Final Fantasy. Everyone who is working on character generators does these poser style humans. Even Daz hasn't created a true anime or game style character. Just generic normal 3d human.
I made up to three different games per week in college spending $0 in assets. It isn't how fast you can make a game that matters, it's the size and amount of work that had gone into it. It's the content and playability of the game that actually matters. Are you distributing your game? If so, how much are you selling it for? How many copies have you sold with how long? Last of all, show us your game. We would like to see what $678 and a month of game development looks like. By now, you've had over a year to work on it. It would be neat to see the game and the current production costs.
I am one of the founders of BioZone Entertainment and we have been investing in unreal engine here lately and would like to give you the chance to come on to our team as one of our level designers and or coder
The character doesn't change from Creator to Game. If it looks different in your game it is because of the fact that the lighting (and/or post-processing effects) is different. The lighting really makes a difference when trying to achieve a realistic look. Check out the lighting in the Creator Example map to get an idea of how it was achieved.
This looks incredible.
Thanks! Really like your speed level design videos btw ;)
Kind of you to say. Look forward to more updates or brilliant plugins like you made here. Cheers.

FUSE is an external program. This is all done right inside UE4. No need for import/export etc. Also, the character is rigged to the UE4 skeleton so all animations from the UE4 marketplace work out of the box with.
Are there gonna be extensions to this?
Yes, there will be further additions to this.
Can you make an integration video?

facial bones ?
Can i add my own characters?
And if yes, how to do it?
Yes, you can add your own character. However, it would need to support the existing morph targets (otherwise the sliders wouldn't function correctly).
A tutorial on how to do this is coming soon.
CB-Productions cool
Is this going to be free or you will need to pay?
It is paid. You can purchase it on the UE4 marketplace: www.unrealengine.com/marketplace/umorph-character-creator
Can you make Your own weapons?
Yes, you can add your own weapons to it.
CB-Productions ok 👌
What about the female characters ?
tutorial please
Does this create female characters as well as males?
Female will be released in the first update.
ITS NOT FOR SALE SO WHAT GOOD IS IT
It's now for sale again.
How do I get this??
"not for sale" i cant buy it
It's now for sale again.
After the fight it runs away and jumps onto a building with body, and you hear gun shots, you get on the roof to find three heavily armed soldiers, they shoot you and knock you unconscious that’s all I’m saying till I get a com so that I can make the game because fuck you that’s my idea
the stando 69 thx for the life story
LIKED !!!!!! AND I DON'T EVEN USE UNREAL !!!! STILL STUCK WITH UNIty
Thanks!
Multiplayer ready?
Yes, it is multiplayer ready.
i made a game honestly took me 1 month to make a 3d gMe working spended 678$
I made up to three different games per week in college spending $0 in assets. It isn't how fast you can make a game that matters, it's the size and amount of work that had gone into it. It's the content and playability of the game that actually matters. Are you distributing your game? If so, how much are you selling it for? How many copies have you sold with how long? Last of all, show us your game. We would like to see what $678 and a month of game development looks like. By now, you've had over a year to work on it. It would be neat to see the game and the current production costs.
How to improve this product use blender instead jk but seriously it looks like you need a lot more features
What kind of features are you looking for?
nice

I am one of the founders of BioZone Entertainment and we have been investing in unreal engine here lately and would like to give you the chance to come on to our team as one of our level designers and or coder
Character doesn't look as real inside the game as it does in the creator.
The character doesn't change from Creator to Game. If it looks different in your game it is because of the fact that the lighting (and/or post-processing effects) is different. The lighting really makes a difference when trying to achieve a realistic look. Check out the lighting in the Creator Example map to get an idea of how it was achieved.
adobe Fuse is free
This is meant to have an easier way to get characters working in UE4. Yes, you have to pay for it, it saves you quite some time though.
