This was last year for this model. And drop top 560SL(s) were the top of the line back then. Rarely saw the drop tops for 560SL.

I got 375,000 miles on my 1984 Porsche 911 convertible. Nice cars should be driven.
We enjoy and love watching your amazing cars, also like Vanessa presenting them, however noticing closing the hood latch, the proper way to close that on this fine vehicle is to use gloves or micro-fiber towel then gently press on the top part of the chrome front grill half way between the Silver Star emblem where the chrome meet. Beautiful 560-SL, hopefully it finds a deserving home!

I have a dark navy blue ‘85 380SL with 77K miles. California owned. Any takers? No hard top. Too complicated to store the hard top so I sold it.
Truly as nice an example as I have seen. This car seems to have been treated as a collectible from the day it was bought. Very impressive. Personally I much prefer the smaller European bumpers, but putting them on this particular car would destroy it's amazing originality.
