Same, my first encounter with T29 I realized how big it was compared to Tiger 1 at lower tiers big tanks like them are terrifying to see. But after grinding to higher tiers and look back and now saw how smaller they are than what I remembered.
If you aren’t a TD aiming with gold ammo. Good luck even scratching the t32 turret. Over 300mm of armor plus enhanced armor you can just get comfy hull down. It’s turret is a impenetrable fortress
The T29 probably actually has to content as THE best Tier 7 heavy. It’s view range is actually exceptional after the second turret and full crew. Damage is good enough to trade especially hull down and pen feels sort of like a TD when upgraded, hull is good enough to side scrape a bit but won’t get you very far otherwise paper and can get HE’d from back and overmatched from side and sprocket very frequently. Only problems it has is hull armor and gun accuracy otherwise is very solid as a whole, and gun isn’t that bad it’s just mediocre accuracy and will miss you a lot of shots but better than Russian. Honestly would go for this tank for a VII tourney tank if I had to and didn’t have access to any premiums or collectibles. Possibly easiest to play VII for beginners that isn’t a derp gun
Can't compare game knowledge to littteral knowledge sure the Sheridan can go 65 mph and has stupid spotting range But would that information actually matter to an actual Sheridan counting the fact that you can be spotted by even bigger tanks in real life
It took me an eternity yo grind for this T29 tank. Overall it feels much better than the m6 i had before. Reload is slower but and aiming is more difficult but over all I'm liking it.
This tank is so good I aced it stock (only upgraded tracks) and got 2.9k damage without provisions or modules or premium ammo against a tier 8 team with a dracula.
i would say it is the best tier 7 tech tree tank. its turret is impenetrable, good mobility, and insane gun depression with a good gun make it very easy to play and very easy to farm. the t32 is the same way.

It’s an American heavy of course it’s rear is paper. Americans share that in their tech tree. With a impenetrable turret and great frontal hull armor it makes sense why it’s turret traverses slowly. Hull down and peekaboo people and run enhanced armor makes it great frontally.
Hull down a black prince won’t even scratch the paint off the t29. Popping a 5k and run calibrated shells and enhanced armor the black prince will struggle to pen the hull and its gold ammo is useless against the t29 turret. 310 alpha vs 160
Look at armor inspector and compare how easy a t29 can rip apart a black prince. T29 is pretty much red everywhere frontally. That’s a easy win for the t29

I get close to that damage hull down waiting for lights to contest. Slapped a sp1c with HE’s man must be slow. Trying to poke a t29 hull down in a light. I only drive this vehicle hull down
T32 cause that’s in the same tier as tiger 2. T29 is in tier 7 so swap it for its tier 8 t32. That vehicle has better pen and even better turret than the t29. It’s just a overall great upgrade

I get hull bounces in my T29 constantly, I've done 5.8k damage in it before
They removed the speed boost on the t29 which can help it get into a hulldown position and can spot while it goes.

got the tank a few days ago and the top gun yesterday and I've had no cause to regret it so far.
Bro had such an easy time in the T29 that he called it's gun the most inaccurate in tier 8

Black Prince has great turret armour as well. Not quite on the same level as the T29 but enough to withstand shots from many Tier 8s.
