The logic that works here is the same logic that tells you to walk around with your spine straight and head high. If you look like an easy target, you are more likely to become a victim. If you look like you'll draw blood before you go down, people will think twice. This, however, only works until someone with a functioning brain turns up and realises a bit of their blood is worth your life. However you can only play the hand you're dealt, so it is what it is.
I'd have rushed QB with the Leopard to distract him while the other tanks came and blasted him
Suggest you develop positive habits and find effective positions for each spawn on every map. Good habit to practise is shooting inside drive wheel with intention to damage and immobilise target at all times. Doing this Solo vs x amount of tanks at least wastes repair kits and leaves them vulnerable to any teammates after your death

Quacky forgot that he'd already switched to an HE shell for the Conway, but when it ducked behind a hill he switched back to an APCR.
It feels like the Conqueror, S Conqueror and FV215B alike carry very less ammo with respect to their fire rates. They should carry 50 shells and not 40 shells.

I feel your pain before the gun replacement for the (20pdr to 32 pdr) Caernarvon I torture myself getting the top gun from the Centurion Mk 1 and bought the Caernarvon before they changed it .....
Just keep playing other tanks and doing the daily missions. You get some that rewards plans, from time to time, and the drop chance seems to prioritise the lower tiers.
So... you will eventually reach tier 8 without playing a single game in the lower tiers 😁

I used to like the Conqueror at tier 9 but sometimes I hated the tank mobility, limited ammunition and I get more module damage ... I'm looking at you ammo rack and fuel tanks ....
I have a special setup with Caernarvon AX, tree Caernarvon, S. Conquer and FV215B with one equipment slot used on anti module damage and fast repair. No repair kit and no fire extinguisher, tea and oil instead. With a turbo I can get to medium tank mobility levels, tho I value optics and rammer more.
Grinding for the S Conqueror, got the 215b, about 50,000 xp from the Chieftain mk6, good job I love playing the t9 Conqueror....hope the S Conqueror doesn't end up disappointing me.

Wargaming balancing is: good gun depression; good dpm; good gun handling; fantastic turret armor for balancing. While this the balancing for other vehicles is: no gun depression; no gun elevation; no gun handling; no dpm; and, no armor. The better part is for the first vehicle you can raise all its statistics with equipment. But this is not possible for the second vehicle that simply could not use this equipments. The Wargaming balancing is tragic: Wargaming, fire the balancing staff.

A question for any tank scholars out there: Do tanks IRL have less armour on their lower glacis or is this just a purposely done weak point for gameplay reasons?
As far as I'm aware it's technically both. Whilst most lower plates were likely thinner than the upper frontal armor, its usually not as exaggerated as it is in the game. Its the same with angling, whilst armor angles are important, you wouldn't of seen tanks side scraping often as it has little value. Although the game is an arcade so it has to be balanced somehow (not that they do a good job)
Weak lower glacis was more common around wwii era but is a bit exaggerated in game, yes. When designing a vehicle you want to save weight wherever you can and lower armor is much less likely to be hit at normal engagement ranges than anywhere else.
while I understand how good vents can be, wouldn't it be a better play to have both turbo and hardening at the very least for a map like malinovka, where the team that usually gets to the hill first has the advantage? At least this is what I've heard other players of similar skill levels to yours.
Maybe it's all down to personal preference cause QB likes aggression playstyle that vents helps alot with DPM and view range gun handling etc
There is definitely much more consensus on hardening + turbo rather than vents with either.

Just a general question do you ever play on the US Central server ?
While I do enjoy watching QB, usually for map knowledge and tactics, important to remember tho, the playing field is no where close to equal, QB starts with bond Equipment, maxed skill crews, premium consumables and fully maxed tank. I'm not wanting to take anything away cause he is Gooood(extra o's) but it is important to realize our basic load out from the git go is far different. sit back enjoy the show.

I have pretty skilled crew on Conqueror and Charlemagne... on Charlemagne I have quickybaby and I am planning ro use this tank as free to play tank to train and make money for future Cheiftain that I keep bonds now... but it will be a long way I bought some bond coated optics on a Ebr 105 that I unlocked a week ago

the gun of S Conq is sooper trolish, I hate it because of that. For me it's very hard to make it work
btw, I'm trying to make my S conq work again for about more than 30 days...back in the days, 2 -3 months ago it was working so well and I could up the mark to 90% and keep it there, now I'm easly on 70% and can't even close to 85%....it's a shame but for this game, being so trollish. When it's gun it's not the team and when it's the team it's not the gun

Many mistakes in the commentary QB. You didnt ammorack the Leopard and you used the APCR not the HE on the T30
LOOK at beginning of game. Quicky is out in the open, sitting on top of railroad tracks and firing at the Leopard PT. Even if the Leo is a total muppet, how is Quicky NOT SPOTTED? No camo can hide a Super Conq. out in the open like that.....

we dont(for some reason) get this map anymore on console, i really dont think thats fair as there are lots of maps on wot(pc) we(on console) dont get. Maybe it would be worth exploring as an idea for an upload, ie the apparent discrimination against console players with regards to graphics and maps. As a non tech head I would like to know, is it discrimination or is it more probably some kind of tech limitation of consoles? If its the latter I would be surprised seeing as consoles are built for gaming as a priority.

I only play tier 10s to 3 mark and for events like Onslaught or Ranked, I'm not that fussed on any of the reward tanks like the Chieftain now as you can't use them in other modes, I would rather have it rebalanced so I could use it in more modes, same with my 279e.

You played well but I realize this game is such a luck.... When I go on this map, with my Sconq, my TD-s behind die in 1 min coz they don't know how to use bushes and I got overrun buy 5 enemy tanks and die in 2 mins with 1k dmg. Same tactics, diff team, diff outcomes.
