Looks like y'all had a lot more rain than we've had in Florence. Like I said before, you would get a lot more done if you didn’t stop & play in the mud!😂 Hayden, I'd say that Tessa is a keeper! She's willing to get out there & get dirty!😉 She fits right in. Stay safe out there. I appreciate the fact that you'd do anything to get cool shots, like getting dusted! I really enjoy your videos & look forward to each one.❤
A lot of people in our country run the drive tires backwards. You’ll spin quicker but most generally be able to back out. Also they won’t wear as much roading them.
Hayden, you may questioned the decision to get that close up shot. But, it was a great shot. We really enjoy your channel. Already looking forward to the next one.
"Where'd my chain go!“ A new t-shirt slogan for you Hayden ❤️ Tessa was proper dirty - you go girl! You guys may be setting your 'all time stuck' record. I hope you missed the rains earlier this week! Thank you Hayden for the video. - Hope
I always like greasing and blowing off the machine at night when I’m done so I can get dirty and then shower. Then the next day I start by checking oil and then ready to roll and start the day clean. lol.
What a nightmare. That’s a lot of mud. It’d be nice to have a set of those super wide high floatation tires to have on standby just for those situations. I have no idea where you’d carry them though because they’re so big. Great job and content! Hoping for a safe and prosperous cutting season for all of you! Blessings from Oklahoma!
Hayden, how could you do that? But Mom , how could you do this again? Do I sound like a broken record? Hayden, I greatly approve of Ms. Tessa ! Keep that lady around! 😊
Somehow when you grease you always end up having some on you. Even if all the fittings are easy to access. I'd say it's magic, like the grease sweating tires.
I’m enjoying your combine videos. I’m way up here in Alberta but was raised on a farm in Manitoba. We don’t have any rattle snakes this far up like southern Alberta but I was wondering how often you run into rattle snakes down there. Thanks
Curious if you guys moved North into the panhandle the other day? Had a crew come through my hometown in Dickens county yesterday that sure looked like yalls equipment.
When trying to pull something that's stuck, do what your dad did in the last video, pull from a 45 degree angle, not directly behind. Your only pulling half of the load, while also getting half of the combine out. Much easier, much more effective. You see professional heavy wreckers doing that.
This is going to be interesting. It won't be long before Tessa is going to tell you(Hayden) how things should be done. 🙂 We will see if Hayden is going to be man enough to accept Tessa as an equal. Of course you are doing the editing and we may never know 🙂 I thoroughly enjoy your videos and getting a glimpse of rural Texas life.
I’ll bet you’ll be glad to get some drier country. That mud is a pain in the butt!!! Tessa is becoming a real trooper in learning to do everything. That may be something she comes to regret!!! Just a suggestion, but if I was her, I would pull my hair up and away from her face. I cringe every time she gets near the equipment and afraid it’s going to get caught in something, that would be awful.
@okiecubsfan1961 I get where you’re coming from. However, she is not around moving parts when they are moving. There are all kinds of sensors that keep the machine from running without someone actually sitting in the seat. & trust me, you have to weigh enough to even keep that going. I try to peek in my bin at my sample & my separator tries to turn off because I’ve shifted in my seat. I promise you that we will keep her (& everyone else on this crew) safe.
@@HarvestChic thank you. One of the girls that grew up with her score got caught grinding feed. Thankfully I was not a first responder. I imagine there was a lot of PTSD over that.! I also had an uncle his leg and another one lose a hand PTO. Corn pickers back then
I have seen a lot of chains broken over the years and have almost been hurt seriously if it wasn’t for Tractor muffler. Yankum Rope would be something to consider even though they’re pretty expensive
I’m guessing the sickle is plugging because of the weeds and green grasses in the crop and especially worse when it gets tough. Our sickle literally never plugs like that cause our fields are clean. You guys run into all variants of fields. Some are clean some are not so I can understand why you guys have trouble with your cutter bar. But we also use deer headers. So I’m not sure if they cut better in those conditions you have. Maybe that’s why we never plug our sickle. But anyways. It’s frustrating when you can’t cut especially when it gets tough.
@timmoore3534 ….I just do it for entertainment. Actually, we have had over 12 inches of rain & the field had been ripped deep before planting. But like most harvesters will tell you….a 4x4 will only get you more stuck, or a 4x4 will just make you need a longer rope.
I have been custom harvesting for 30 years and my family has been going 70 years. We have never owned a 4wd and we cut high moisture corn basically as soon as they shut the sprinklers off and don’t get stuck like that.
G'day Hayden been enjoying your videos of your every day job being a harvest contractor but I have notice your mum she drives the header with 4x4 an she's always getting bogged 🤔🤔🤔🤔👍
@michaelmason1087 ….after 12+ inches of rain it doesn’t matter if you have 4x4, LSW’s, duals, etc- when a field has been ripped deep there’s nothing going to hold you on top when you find a wet spot.
@@HarvestChic I hear what you're saying there 12 inches of rain a lot of rain 🌧️🌧️🌧️ thanks for the reply great work ethic you guys have stay safe happy harvesting 👍👍👍👍
Your midstream videos are very interesting but, the greasing intro is a bit mundane. Maybe switch that up with something else. Dang, you know it's a good stuck when the back of the combine is bouncing.....

Duals and 4wd helps out tremendously on staying on top of the ground
Enjoyed the video Hayden...glad you found your chain again!
Amazing video Guys. thank y'all so much
That has to be so frustrating, can't imagine.
Curious if you spray fungicide every year? If not what affect did all the rain have on quality?
I always like greasing and blowing off the machine at night when I’m done so I can get dirty and then shower. Then the next day I start by checking oil and then ready to roll and start the day clean. lol.
Getting both combines stuck at the same time. That looks like a barrel of fun. Lol.

Hayden your Dad is the man,he works his tail off
Mom and that shield, cracked me up 😂
I’m going to design a new shield & sell it to John Deere….but it’s going to have my name on it 😉
@@HarvestChic Well you already have a customer with two Combines😂
Hayden, how could you do that?
But Mom , how could you do this again?

Great to see such dedication to family and business.... The question is, how old are u Hayden?
Somehow when you grease you always end up having some on you. Even if all the fittings are easy to access. I'd say it's magic, like the grease sweating tires.
Like mother like son, keep the rubber on top of dirt. Hope you don't get as much rain as other parts of Texas.
The mud never ends…
It's no fun playing in the mud! I hope things dry out.
I find it interesting that “Hey Dudes” are the workboot of choice!
And why’s that
Dr. Hayden.. With that much wet ground...What are the moisture numbers for that wheat?? It looks so "dirty". Where are the "amber waves of grain"?
So i take it mom dont like that shield lol
I’m enjoying your combine videos. I’m way up here in Alberta but was raised on a farm in Manitoba.

running out of luck xD
tomorrow the Graincart gets stuck while cody trys to rescue you both xD
Take it back lol
That would be a complete disaster. And an expensive tow bill.
I say bad things every time i put that shield on

@@HarvestChic then you have seen some of the worst. Bless your heart
Is it too expensive or too much trouble to run duals on the combines?
@@rightsideofthegrass8114 I remember and understand that. But you're near to home. Do you never use duals?
You were behind on editing now I’m behind on watching videos we’ve been really busy moving to Kansas
I’m still behind on editing lol. Let’s just say I could use a nap 🫣
Clean your air filters and cabin filters out.

@EvanC8 ….yes the weeds & grass & humidity 😖
is the wheat turning off well
Oh sure mom gets stuck so you can’t let her win 😂
Do you run a single or dual knife drive on those headers?
@stephenohlmann7608 single…. 10/10 do NOT recommend.
Engineers need to actually come and work, grease or whatever on their improvements
If you don't get a little grease on you, your not doing it right.Good Job young lady
How many more times is mom going to get stuck
You need duals
I thought some of the grease fittings are 400 hr ones
Who’s the girl?? 🤷♂️ I really wish she didn’t stand so close when you pick that header up just incase it would fall off 😬
Isn’t that the truth
Give cody his camera back 🎉
