Check around the badge on the tailgate, wheel well, pull up door rubber at the bottom and just spend some time every nook and crannie. Mechanically you should not have too many issues but the cam belt should have been changed by now and you would need to see evidence of this. A clutch with dual mass flywheel will cost £1000 + fitted so make sure ther bite point is good. Turn the heater controil knobs, they have a habit of getting stiff. I've done around 104,000 miles. Not noticed a whine although I have recently changed the gearbox oil which has made gear changes smoother.
