Hello, I am getting dreads done in 2 weeks on my natural hair. I have thin hair that is only about 4 inches long. I have human hair extensions that I'm having put onto my natural dreads. I met a loctition at the Renaissance festival and she said she can definitely loc up my hair and do this for me. I'm very nervous because I do not want my head to look sparse, I am doing this not only because I've always loved dreads but because I think it will help my hair grow and have more volume without using heating tools and bad products. Watching your knowledgeable videos I wanted to ask you if you think this will work for me and look good... I am so excited to finally and hopefully love my hair for the first time in my life.
I had my dreadlocks done five days ago, but my scalp is starting to itch. Can I wash them? I also suffer from dandruff. What do you recommend for me to use for that specific issue?
When you have dandruff, a switch to the herbal cleanser shampoo from RAW ROOTs might be of great help! As for washing after your dreads are made, please discuss this with your loctician as I don't know which method is used to create your dreads.
@@fattiepattie5247 I see! We don't use this method in our Salon, so I can't advice you about when to start washing. If you want to wait a bit longer, use a refreshening spray against the itchiness, those are great! I can recommend the dollylocks ones.

@@dreadshop I didn’t go with any dreadlock stylist; I did them myself, and I used the rip and twist method.
