I honestly can't get enough of watching the cooking classes video. I love Spain, and this was an awesome cooking class! What a great instructor you had. That paella was a thing of beauty. And creme brulee is one of my favorite desserts. Great job you guys! 😍😍
I knew Kara was going to drop it the moment she said it's heavy. I have a very weak hand so I understand. Even if you flip it at the right time and speed, your hand won't be able to catch it/keep it stable if it's not strong enough :P
Congrats on over 15,000 subscribers! Barcelona is on my bucket list of places to visit. The cooking class looked like so much fun. Kara I would have totally lost part of that omelet on the table/floor too. LOL!!!
Hey Kara did pretty good!! You only lost a little bit lol. That looks like so much fun! I liked how the guy seemed to make you feel very at home and comfortable. He was a jokester and just a cool dude.
Yes, we made the same things :) It was challenging for the instructor (who was awesome!) because I have a gluten allergy, someone else was a vegetarian, there was a pregant lady who only wanted well cooked eggs, etc. He was amazing though! Very professional and still lots of fun too.
Im supposed to be going to spain for 3 weeks in the summer w an amazing group of people and it got canceled because of coronvirus. I was going to hike, learn how to cook food from spain and explore many other things. it makes me so sad because that was a once in a lifetime experience and now its just over. so now im watching these! Lol
Yummo!!... I LOVE the cooking class...the chef was awesome I love how he taught the class...that was very cool!! :) did awesome guys :) BIG HUGS FROM IDAHO :)
It looked like you guys had a fun time. The eggs spill was not your fault Kara. I think the pan, egg and wood top was too heavy for you and that's why it slipped.
Awesome video!! I always enjoy your vlogs so much and you guys are so cute together that it makes ir more enjoyable haha I have a question: Are you on vacations or you took a sabatic year? Or how do you manage to travel so work while working? I'm just curious :)
I really like your videos. Any advice for a solo traveler going to Barcelona, Madrid and then Lisbon? How long will it take to cover must see places in each of these places? Any advice for a cheap place to stay? I am a rookie when it comes to traveling and I need your help. Visiting these 3 places too next month. When you do activities in any city, do you book it online prior to your visits or when you are in your destination? Do you buy tickets from any websites like viator? Have you used the hop on hop off bus before? How do you get access to data on your phone when not using public WiFi? . Have you used airbnb and is it safe? Sorry for the long questions. Thanks for your help.
too fast, I agree and maybe a little early for the flip... great try though because he was saying do it quickly. Mmmmmmm burnt sugary custard I love it.
I would think you would have flash backs to the tomato "war" after yesterday. 😂 Now that I think about it did you check the tomatoes to make sure they weren't left over? Just kidding.
I understand that is a professional chef that probably knows his stuff but many foreigners need to understand that food in Spain is very regional. Nine times out of ten Paella outside of the region of Valencia is going to be sh*t and Gazpacho outside of Andalucia too. Same goes for all other Spanish foods.
Great couple. I will subscribe. They have something going on. The woman is especially camera-friendly. Great smile, great face. It's all about communicating with your surroundings. And they make a good team, I think. Time will tell.
You guys have such an awesome vlog, you should go to some of the related sites and make a simple comment and say check us out. That is how I found most of the vlogs I subscribe to. I found you guys when I was searching Vietnam.
Wow kara was n her mid twentieswhen this video was made and she's never had paella before ?! I guess if you grow up in Tennessee you live a sheltered life. Well im really glad i grew up.in the Bronx and attended the bronx high school of science because my friends growing up were jewish, Italian ,Irish, African - American and Greek .my best friend's mom who is 100% puerto Rican makes the best paella in the world ! By the time i graduated high school I'd eaten a whole lot of things .i stated in nyc for college so my food pallette just continued to get wider and wider every year.

forgive my clarification, but is not creme brulee (it wasn't a french cooking class ;) ) it's called crema catalana (catalan cream)

I did this class in May 2016. So much fun! Loved it!
So did we! Did you make the same things or something different?
Yes, we made the same things :) It was challenging for the instructor (who was awesome!) because I have a gluten allergy, someone else was a vegetarian, there was a pregant lady who only wanted well cooked eggs, etc. He was amazing though! Very professional and still lots of fun too.

Lmao I’m so socially awkward I would’ve started crying if I flipped the omelette wrong
You 2 are awesome :-)

I would think you would have flash backs to the tomato "war" after yesterday. 😂 Now that I think about it did you check the tomatoes to make sure they weren't left over? Just kidding.
Haha it was a little soon to be eating tomatoes again!! These were much fresher ;)

Hello!!!!!
Was anyone else waiting to hear "Barcelona" by Freddie Mercury/Montserrat Caballe' as background music at anytime in this playlist?? No? Just me??
"We're going have to invest in a blow torch" 😂
