I think he doesn't like the video of "Get the Balance Right" and neither do the other band members. The story goes that the director thought that Alan was the singer and thus presented him that way. I don't mean to be dissing on Alan but he does come across really snobby and snooty while being interviewed, I sometimes wonder who was the leader of the group between Martin or Fletch.
While Alan can be pretty personable and down to earth, at the same time, underneath that, he does kind of have high standards for people and things, and being an introvert, over time people can get on his nerves, especially if he thinks they're foolish gits. He'll show patience for a good while because he is classy, polite, and well-mannered, but if he's dealing with some sort of ninny and feels like it's a waste of his time, then he'll subtly betray what he's really thinking. It might be through getting really sarcastic, or even insulting the other person in a way he thinks they might not notice. I've seen it happen. So yeah, Alan is kind of stuck up, alright, but he's usually nice about it, and not a jerk. Personally, I don't have a problem with that. Just don't be a foolish git too much in his presence. By the way, Dave is extraverted and different from Alan, but I've seen him react to silly, stupid people in similar ways.
@@heathers7265 Alan is kind of quiet and seemingly shy, alright, but he's not a stereotypical "quiet, shy" kind of person on the inside. This was a great interview! I loved how much Dave and Alan interrupted the interviewer 😂. Thank u for that Alan laugh 😍❤!
I felt she kept interrupting them and was annoyed by it
@@jenwendy7 she has a strict time limit dude- it’s not her fault. There’s producers off screen rushing them along
I wish Alan had done up all the buttons of his shirt properly. I can't concentrate on what he's saying. 🔥
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣So, true!
love Alan's leather pants, surprised to see him the one wearing leather pants instead of Dave
extremely handsome dude.
First interview where Dave doesn't say , "you know," so profusely.
My precious Dave Gahan💋
I still have this one on a VHS tape recorded from Sky. Well, I don't have a VHS player anymore... THANKS for this!
Bless for upload, I thought this was off the internet forever
Oh Dave!!!!!
The everlasting topband!

That's true. Dave confirmed it many times in different interviews
