  • Talking lumber and material processing in our latest video of our series documenting the Built-in process. Regardless of where you buy your material or what level of preparedness it is in, you'll inevitably need to rip and plane your material to prepare it for cabinet construction.
We start off at the table saw ripping our material to rough dimension and the run everything through the planer to remove saw marks and dial in the final dimension. It's a process that we've done for years and it produces consistent repeatable results from one project to the next.

Great video Rex! Thank for taking us through your process step by step, very helpful! Question: Where do you purchase your hardwood and plywood from?

Thanks for watching, I appreciate the feedback. We’ve been getting our hardwood from a local woodworker who has a hookup in NW Ohio and we get out plywood from either Menards or Aetna Plywood.
