In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

Wow Greg, I've just had an experience that I've never had with a video before.
I decided not to look at comments before watching and BOY was that a good call!
Fish by fish, I'm there saying out loud "please get in the net, please get in the net" and celebrating as they did, with a lot of heck yeahs and arms going up
By the end of day 2, I was there thinking "heck yeah Greg, solid performance, don't worry about top10, you are such an awesome fisherman!"
Then, when u told about the text and that they would be sending those to top10 I screamed NO WAY!
As you proceed to tell that you indeed got a top10 spot and went on to the stage, my guy, you got me in tears. You don't know me and probably never will, but we feel like we know you as much as if you were a close friend and we learned a lot with you!
Damn, Greg, I was hoping so much for this outcome that I got all emotional about it.... that's a first. Tears going down as I'm writing
