My dual element burnt out in < 2 years on a Maytag. Is this normal? Do the dual elements fail sooner than the singles?

No mention of changing the EPIC sensor.
Grunchy Didyou ever get an answer about the epic sensor? My old element had one but the replacement has no hole to use for it. What did you find out? I’ve been on hold for over an hour with whirlpool tech support.
