I'm a headhunter right now for a well-known firm and am thinking about career coaching on the side, but I'm worried about how I will look to my employer if I'm posting on LinkedIn about this side hustle and not about recruiting specifically. How did you make the bridge to working full time and coaching on the side? Any advice for someone looking to coach part time who doesn't want it to negatively impact his current job?
I actually posted about my coaching clients the entire time and my employer knew I was a coach and didn’t really mind as long as I was still fulfilling all of my duties. My posts also focused on shouting out my clients that got jobs instead of promoting my business so they worked well with both my recruiting and coaching jobs.

There are multiple online certifications available from places like Coach Alliance, New York University, Cornell and more. Prices range significantly so I recommend doing some research and picking the program that works for you :)
