People tend to forget that this is Real Madrid, arguably the pinnacle of football. They have one of the brightest futures right now, with players such as Vinicius, Rodrygo, Camavinga Tchouameni, etc. They are set for the future. Why would he not want to be a part of that? People are saying he will be a pawn like Beckham etc. But the truth is that this is a team sport, and with Madrid's future, trophies are surely guaranteed. Madrid is undoubtedly the best fit for him, with their squad's talent and the future ahead. He will have veterans such as Modric, Kross, Benzema, etc., who can guide and help him become a complete player. This is not the early 2000s anymore. Just because he's English doesn't mean he has to play in The Prem; football is not only based on The Premier League. Of a 19 years old, Jude has a lot of character, and La Liga is a great fit for him to showcase his technical ability; The Prem is the safe option, and on a business point, this move will be great for him in the future as well.

I don't think the tapestry argument is sound. Beckham was not as prominent in that Madrid team simply because he was not as good, especially if you compare him with Zidane. If bellingham is not as good as Tchouameni or Camavinga then he will be a system player, but I don't think that will be the case because of his talent and ability to learn. What would've happened if he went to City, he would be a brilliant player but he would still be a system player.

Real Madrid is the classic football club, few come close but in my opinion Real stands at the top alone. It almost has a mythical feel to it. It's completely understandable why players want to go there, especially young ones.
As for Bellingham, he seems good enough to possibly get something done at Real. He has a 2007 Kaka like drive when he is coming forward with the ball. If he can avoid injuries and if the new manager at Real gets his position and role right then Bellingham could form one tremendous looking midfield together with Valverde and Camavinga.

All the while you're still playing footsie with some of the clubs in your home country but keeping the largest club in the world off to the side as a known admirer.

Bellingham is a young talented player who would have plenty of opportunity to showcase his talents at Real Madrid, since Modric and Kroos are at the end of their careers and Valverde and Camavinga often plays at RW and LB. Football is more cohesive sport in terms of teamwork, and no single player or even a bunch of world class players could always bring you glory, unless they work together (look at PSG). I think Madrid makes perfect sense for Jude and for the English national team, to have a more diverse set of players in terms style of play.

When the player says that it's where he wants to go and that player is of a certain status at your club then it's very hard to play hard ball, at best you upset the player and at worst you stunt his career.

Real Madrid has money, but it has less money than City; so why Bellimgham has chosen RM over City knowing that the english club would pay him more?. I think that what Real Madrid has done very well, is to sell a "brand". It has become like an "aspirational" club for players around the world because of its history, because of all the mega stars that played in the past with the white jersey. Florentino, a very smart business man, do not want to pay astronomical prices in a auction for a player where oil clubs would have the advantage. In addition, the salaries in RM can be compensated by all the money that comes by the "image" of being part of REal Madrid...

Why do folks think it matters which outfit Jude Bellingham chooses to join? It hasn’t yet even been established that he’s good. There are, always have been always will be, folks who swear a box-to-box athlete will be unstoppable when he joins a Big Club. Sometimes it happens. Sometimes the player uses age 21-28 to become more than just an engine. But they never really go beyond it. Bellingham is an athlete with a big engine but I’ve seen nothing to indicate that he’s a great footballer. His best position would be holding midfield where he could use those big lungs and heart. But he’s just not much of a footballer! Please England don’t build a team around Bellingham, pleeeeaaase!

I would assume Madrid would pursue Osimhen and or Mbappe in lieu of Bellingham but maybe they have a lot more in their war chest. I don’t think Man City are a great choice. The stink of 100 FFP charges will come due while he is there, not to mention Guardiola’s eventual exit in a couple years.

I dont think he will shine in La Liga because it is extremely defense heavy and physical and hard to score in. For example, look at Lewa at barca he is struggling to score in La Liga and in Bayern he was scoring a ton. Different League means different styles of play

Why Jude Bellingham Chose Real Madrid ?
Answer: He will just be a pawn like Beckham.
Mate the team Real Madrid are building will be different. The superstars like Benzema, Modric, kroos will retire or leave in 2 years. Bellingham has an incredible leadership quality. I see him leading the team alongside Federico Valverde
