I just came back from my 13 days solo travel in Georgia. Aside from Tbilisi, I stayed 3 nights in Telavi and 3 nights in Borjomi. Went on a day trip in Gudauri. I am loving every minute of my stay there.
Hi im going there as a solo traveller may I ask if you do have a tour guide or just do the excursions by yourself . And if you can recommend a cheap safe transportation im planning to visit gudauri batumi and tblisi
@@bmonique5187 I went solo on that trip, DIY and on budget. The are a lot of local tour agencies that offer day tours that you will find at the old town area. Bus and metro are are cheaper options if you explore Tbilisi. Shared taxi and cheap Marshrutka vans are available if you will travel outside Tbilisi.
Telling people ancient history of Georgia is great but I have to mention the newest one that 20% of Georgia is occupied by Russia. Glad you had a good time here ✌🏻❤

The reason why we don't like to speak is that Russian occupied 20% of my country, of Course if somebody don't know different language we would happily help him and talk with him in Russian but you have misinformation before 1991 Georgia was part of Soviet Union so Russian language was expanded pretty well, after collapse of Soviet union, new Generation learned English, what about Old Generation they know Russian better, so it is simple, I wish you happy holiday in Georgia, but I do recommend you that Respect Georgia, like learn 3 words, Gamarjoba-hello, Madloba-thank you, and Nakhvamdis- bye. we love tourists, and of course wish you all best.
Yes if we're talking about service in cafes and restaurants, but I travel quite a bit and don't really recall people at passport control telling you jokes in any country.
by the way Georgian greeting: "Gamarjoba" comes from the Georgian word: "Gamarjveba" (means "Victory to you"). Georgia always had many external enemies, so people always greeted each other by blessing: "Victory to you" - Gamarjveba (Gamarjoba).

@@christian78478 Hi, my couple and me are thinking about travelling to Georgia and Armenia in December. We are worried about the weather and the roads condition. Do you recommend to travel in winter? Thanks :)
When you travel to Georgia, don't forget to visit Batumi, Borjomi, Gelati, Signaki and other well know places. Visiting just capital, - won't give you better joy
Dear Justin, I eat khinkali the way you did and I'm Georgian :) The thing is you need to eat khinkali while it's hot and I don't like to burn my fingers, so it's wise to use a fork. You need to do it right way though, so that you don't break khinkali and spill all the juice from inside, because its juice is the most tasteful part of it. P.S. We don't eat the top of khinkali, it's just thick dough.
You both are such a cute couple. I am planning on a trip to Georgia soon. Your video is so inspiring me to go sooner. I love Georgian people. I have watched about four times. For things I missed. I so enjoyed this content.
At 10:30AM Georgians are usually already at work. Some restaurants may have been closed because we usually eat our breakfast at homes. We don’t each food in the restaurant that often. (At least it’s like this when there are a few people in the family)
It is true that our people don't smile very much and I think it has many reasons. The hardships of life, the political situation, the battles we have had as people and we are also a former Soviet country; we did not have the freedom to live our religion and culture the way we wanted. But I will tell you I have never met people who are more hospitable than my people❤. So when they smile at you it is a 100% genuine and when a Georgian is your friend they become family for you!

That bath scene was too funny! I thought they were going to scrub off Alina's tattoo. Alina, keep your mouth closed or it may get washed out with soap. 😁
