Nice to hear! Do you think that any of the characters are bad, no fun, or UP as a starter character? I'm having a hard time deciding which one to play in the open beta.
Every clas is viable at the end...but DL is "harder"/slower to lvl solo.

Hi, really nice guide, have one question actually, is Binding Blizzard really worth it? I see Ice Wall as better alternative, im wrong with that?.
Binding Blizzard is rlly good to proc effects. Especially the hysteria lvl 20 effect, which multiplies the crit dmg by 4 ;)
Why are some danse macabre animations are different? Did they change it or you need something to chanhe the animation?
Hey nice guide :) but why is Binding Blizzard a must have for PvE in your eyes? Its damage seems pretty low compared to some other spells from the War Mage, is it just because its movement friendly?

I would like to know how the specter shield soul stone work? It's +3% crit rate but does using the skill add an additional 10% crit rate for 10sec? If so, the crit rate cap will be hit, would the 10% still apply?
I didnt test it yet but i think i am pretty sure it won't go over the 50% cap.

Thank you so much for this guide, for taking the time to explain everything, for several different situations, etc ... I just have a question about the weapon skill, if I play with the staff, I will play with Shockwave and if I play with the sword and the book, I would choose Marching Blade, right?

Hysteria is only good with very high crit chance
I calculated: If you have 30% crit chance at level 100 hysteria you get a 66% DPS Boost
If you have 20% and lvl 100 hysteria you get a 33% DPS Boost
If you have 30% crit chance you need to get the artifact to level 45 to get to the same DPS as without it (because of the -30% DMG)
If you have 20% you need a lvl 70 hysteria
You have 21% crit chance with a lvl 73 artifact so you only get 2,76% DPS boost right now
did you calculate the bonus proc effect of lvl20 substats?
he didnt ^^ and its a 4x multiplier. (400%)
When it proced in Korea i killed the bc boss with blood fest skill in like 2-5 sec...
Yes, but Rainbow ua-cam.com/video/TMHclKJuioE/v-deo.html is as good in terms of DPS, and gives you evasion and damage reduction boosts too
yes but the proc of hysteria is huge compared to the dmg procs of rainbow. Obviously, if you are a dd, who dies a lot, you should go for rainbow, because it will help yout to survive. But i am 100% sure a dd with hysteria will do more lot more dmg than a rainbow dd.But rainbow is a good starting Artifact.

1. i would say whisperer with the healing birds is easier if you want to play solo.
2. No, but you can sell items in the AH for item shop currency and buy premium with that ;)

it is one of the ult cards you can pick. they heal you and cleanse u from cc^^

For some reason my passives arent showing up above my ability bar.Is it glitched?
what about the radiant hildegun soulstone? doesn't that add a whooping extra 92% to radiant chain which would make it extremely OP or is it a overall 92% DOT damage
even with that stone, the dmg is too low =/
you can actually use meteor without knocking back mobs.. use ice wall first and when the mobs freeze use meteor it wont knock back.. pretty useful for mobs damage.. even in pvp.. just my opinion.. but love your guide man.. keep it up..
if you take those 2 skills, you will loose a lot of dps ;) I tried it already =)

You mentioned on stream the Mediah Magic Association... what was the stats and their significance? i'm noticing them being posted for sale on NA, but already have some mythic pants, but if these are best in slot.. then i'll get them
mythic mediah assosation pants are bis mythic. Most of the mediah stuff got cd red. The media accessories are good but not BiS.

Hello Mate it`s me again , is warmage good in pvp and I`m leveling warmage now should i go for straight 60 crit or should i go 30 crit 30 hp?
30 crit->30hp->60crit if you struggle to stay alive
if not 60 crit->30hp

Hey man ☺ i rly like ur guide but still dont understand one thing, why almost like 95% of war mages are running sword+book, are they rly that much better then staff?
2 reasons for using book/sword: extra equip slot for extra stats and 5% damage in close range (almost all the time im in close range)

Why some of your items have such a high CP? Does level 65 items diff in CP? My lvl 65 items only have 2-3k CP
should you add skill crest before level 65? do you get better ones at level 65?
Also before level 65 should you sell or dismantle your crappy items? thanks man..
yep add before 65 and replace if you get better one. If you need zen, sell those if not dismantle =)

It is not useless but not one of the first skills you should go for.

Why invest soul point on attack if i am gonna get hysteria? I know it will be like i have hysteria with -15% attack + attack's passives but it is not better to invest on penetretion or critical damage?
Also should i invest on mana recovery since i'm all the time " Not enough mp " :/ or it is not worth it?
if you have problems with mana, you can put 30 points in mp rec and then put 30 points in attack to ulock the 10% extra dmg on elite/boss.

put in Beast dmg gems, because the last bosses of the epic dungeons are beasts.

yep both end bosses and some other bosses in the epic dungeons are beasts.

nope, you will have more Atk with staff but higher critrate with dual. So just paly what you like more :)
Well, thats not true. Actually you get more attack with sword. Base attacks are higher (main+offhand vs staff), you can get attack on both weapons (staff has twice higher value so it makes it equal) + uncommon stats twice, you get 12% lower crit dmg and 2.5% higher crit rate , higher attack speed and more HP (2 gems). Its just more expensive
i got the frozen heart artifacts and wondering if the lifesteal will proct on in?
Do you mean, if the crits will heal you? If yes, yep they will. But i am not a fan of frozen heart.

Depends on the situation and your playstyle...but overall WM can adapt better to the situation. but if you dont have decent reaction time, it will be hard for u as a warmage.
what about Blader? What do u think about him? At PVP & PVE is better than WH or WM?

def pen = ignores a certain % of enemy defense, pen= true dmg. Pen ist better but harder to raise.
What skill do you use for pve for left click for ranged? You never said that. Is LC: Fire Clutch, RC: Specter?
LC: marching blades and RC: fire clutches.

Hey, sry Quick question. Do you use a skill to gain mana? Since I am not 65 yet, It's possibly that I don't have the skill yet, but if I make Fire Clutch LC and Specter RC, I don't have a mana generator.

cause EVERY war mage i saw is using the exact same skills , i wish there is a different type of play styles and skills to use
Do warmage are really good ? I play with whisperer friends and they are always above me in term of dps, damage etc. And they have really stronger AoE than me, what is weird :/
what cp do you have and what cp do they have? If the mobs get killed too fast, you wont be able to deal that much dmg. Later on harder mobs, you should be able to get the lead. Obviously it is also depends on gear/artifact .
We are 3 (me and two whisperer). And yeah, they instant kills any pack of monsters with their big AoE... ^^
We are still leveling (lv 55). We'll see once lv max !

Btw, do you have any tips for gearing up ? Fresh 65, i bought a full equipements of legendary items at the auction house given that's very cheap. But now, i don't really know what to do to get set stuff or ancien ones.

in pvp you play wamrage like an assasin. get in deal dmg and get out ...wait for cd and then again.
As a PvP oriented player, Wallop is a must have, not just the HP and Def increase, but Final Notice does over 1500% dmg when target is below 50% HP, a must have in PvP, (it got buff from 720% and +60% when target below 30% HP), the only skill got buff from warmage since Alpha
*Dance Macabre* got a big nerf, it used to be DoT with spinning blade but now its complete trash
*Meteor* got a big AoE radius nerf, the meteor is so small lmfao, i dont think its even viable in pvp since its hard to hit.
no spinning blade was a unique item effectt that changed it like that.
what soul skills would u recommend? cd or crit rate? just hit 65, crit passives seems useless since im focused on collecting gear which isnt that easy playin solo

Im Playing WM but I go for atk speed and mobility speed, and I'm using frenzy artifact, 4k1 Attack, 21% Critical rate, 166% Critical damage, 25% evasion, cool down 35%, Weapon +10
Q - Chanel Thats good bro because if you have 3k to 4k attack you have more a lot of damage in DH and SDK Because the other players are looking for High attack and dps in Party
Why even play a Warmage? He's squishy and he has no party support skills like the blader or the whisperer... Can he at least deal the most damage or is that also reserved for the other two dps classes?
He has sustain dmg, it doesn't matter if the boss is surrounded by adds, if you have to move much or if the boss is stationary, as a warmage you will be able to deal always damage. As a blader you have to move a lot more and stop dealing dmg, if the boss is rlly agile. As a whisperer you also have to stay still to dmg the boss.
He's squishy which can be neglected if you've quick reflexes you wont die regular mobs,aoe dmg during pulls what will kill you is boss abilites which can easly be neglected with your skills warmage seems weak due low hp higher skill cap requirements but he's *sustained* aoe dps is very good.
Long duration CC can be deadly but can be neglected by gear
I'd have an extra warmage over a blader or whisperer if we're going bigger pulls.
*Ladder also shown warmage is one of the top anyway.*

Btw this is the Mobbing skill bar right ? so what's the "Boss skill bar" ? cause for what i know most classes have 2 bars to use .. one for mobbing and one for bosses .
or it's the same for warmage , cause he got a lot of useless skills . lol xD
From all the viable skills, you should take spells depending on the boss. Even on my Dl i change my "boss bar" a lot depending on the boss.
ya that what's sad about it , Mage doesn't have much viable skill as u same , a lot of them just useless , and most of people using the exact same bar xD . like u said 5 of the 6 skills are must have

i am used on all the classes that i have something to spam that have no cooldown .
like spin with holding left click on blader
or the 1st skill with holding left click on war mage and whisperer
but i can't do this on DL cause it's too high cost . and i am Lv30 . and i feel like when the skills on CD i got nothing to use
all the AA have no cd and return mana and you can use the fire budgeon as right click. you can also hold down LMB and RMB at the same time to increase your dps. And on higher lvl you will have skills/crests to lower mp costs and return mp.
ya i tried to use the fire bludgeon but i run out of mana so fast .
it uses more mana than most of other classes 1st skill and do less dmg .
Anyway is there anyother way to reset the stats ? other than it's cost ? cause 250k is TOO high . for me at least . "ps : f2p player"
get lvl 65...at the beginning it doesnt matter, what skills u picked...higher lvl mobs drop more gold =) And Dl wont do that much dps compared to other dps classes. Because dl is off tank/ tank class.
