I did a litteral double-take when i realized Richter was doing an actual traffic report.
I did too 😢 lol
My jaw was hanging open for a solid minute until he started talking to Joy. I knew there had to be a catch somewhere.
Right? I stared at my screen blankly 😂
I was just waiting for the other shoe to drop.
Then, he was talking to Joy, and I suspect he made it all up as an example for Joy (if not, it fits that even when he actually DOES his job, it's while he's doing something else).
I think we all shared Alex & Graham's reaction to an actual useful traffic report being given after being thrown over to Richter.
I strongly suspect Richter made it all up as an example for Joy.
@@JamesAdams-nd1td He definitely would've *mentioned* if it was another report delivered from his "image training mind qwopter."
ME AT THE END OF THE EPISODE: Hilarious! I can't wait for next episode.
ME READING THE COMMENTS: What do you mean, last episode of the season!? 😭
If I had a nickel for every time a season ended with A-train screaming swears I'd have 2 nickels.
Which isn't a lot but it's weird it's only happened twice.
Alex shrieking “WAS THAT REAL TRAFFIC???” was my favorite part of the episode.
The "von Spront is a secret former Nazi bit has never been better.
So sad that we are already at the finale 😢
SPOILER:
The cliffhanger of Mayor Ball Hinkley is gonna drive me nuts for the next ~5 years. Loved the whole season.
On the one hand, spoilers. On the other, you could be making this up, sounds like a fever dream.
Yeah it isn't your fault, but you're top comment with the ending in plain view. Please enjoy our unwarranted engagement ire!
I don't read the comments until I'm ready for spoilers so I have no ire but still wish to engage in the engagement, ire-free.
IM SORRY EVERYONE I have amended the comment to hide the spoiler from immediate view.
@@ladsworld Nothing to apologise for! The algorithm giveth and the algorithm taketh away
That was the most coherent and sensible traffic report I think we've ever gotten. Absolutely magnificent, this was an incredible season :).
"Is that lampshade crooked? I can't tell."
Very sneaky Alex!
Monorailgun had me wheezing
I bet Alex has been waiting his whole life to make that joke.
Impressed with the sneaky Evangelion reference in true LRR fashion
OMG i got sooo angry at that moment that i knew what they were talking about
And a 1960s batman reference shortly thereafter.
@@JWK1101 The duality of LRR
"Ex astris ad vincula!" From the stars to the chains?
I'm going to miss Qwerpline, it's been a joy
Oh! Because they’re sent to space, then they land in jail! I was wondering what it meant.
"like a night of crystal"
Er... oh dear.
Yeah....they went there...
"very clear, like a night of crystal."
Jesus bussing Christ Ian 😂
"I have been order by ze court to make this very clear, like a night of crystal."
Dr. von Spront PLEASE
Everyone’s been commenting that, but I can’t find the quote- do you know where that is?
@@The_Murder_Party It's at 15:54 regarding why he clarifies being a doctorate doctor and not a medical one.
The Summer Internment project really got me
Weird way to announce RoadQuest 2 but I look forward to seeing how Derek and Dick bond with one another on the trip!
I was really hoping for a mention of the ‘literal tigers’ when they were discussing figurative tigers in that mural, but instead the figuratively literal literal tigers remain in the theater of my mind.
I literally had to re-listen to rickers traffic report 3 times, just to make sure I wasn't hearing it wrong and he did actually give traffic.
Amazing slow burn bit, honestly probably one of the best from qwrp line
Of all the characters, no one's mental image has evolved for me quite so much since their first appearance as Edith's has.
I adore Qwerpline so so much. I will start my prayers for season 4 sometimes within the next decade 🥰
2:05 We need to redefine the IPS rating system for Qwerpline. It should instead stand for Innuendos per second.
Really just want to applaud you guys for a phenomenal season! Especially appreciate all the extra environmental background noise you've utilized this season, it really makes Nsburg seem more real. Like this isn't a small town, but it is a place where you will bump into the same people on the regular. The Monorailgun firing sequence was *chefs kiss*.
I lost it at "Mr Qwerpline"
11:02 A Flying Turnip. omg that logo is exquisite.
Always pleased to hear the returning gag of the ham-scented van. Ham Van? Ham Van.
It was at least briefly more like sauna smoked pork.
This has been some of the best Qwerpline imo. Thanks LRR! We'd love some more when you get the chance.
Michael is just wonderful! the numerous Evangelion references were great but when von sprint said 'like a night of crystal' i had to go 'Jesus Christ LRR!' thats the kind of humor i tune in for.
Edit: the Cap-chur is infact a real thing! i looked it up.
Excellent, as always. Thank you.
I will anxiously await another season!
Thank you for making such an incredible and entertaining series!!! Would love another season 😅😁
15:53 Uh, did Darren say "very clear, like *a night of crystal?*"
Has von Spront* been talking to the 1980s Santa Claus about his time in Argentina?
* or von Sprint, if you believe the video
Wait a minute. Joy is now 11. According to 1x09, Joy was born in 2009. That means in Nsburg it's currently 2020.
I have a hunch I know how they're going to explain the seasonal hiatus...
Amazing season, everyone, thank you all so much!
15:58 Jesus Christ
I haven't checked anything official and I fear what I would find, but I *will* point out that a hypothetical 4th season shouldn't take nearly as long to arrive. At least, not unless that is also interrupted by a series of unforeseeable crises.
...having said that, a hypothetical 4th season may be a long way out.
Needlessly vivid!
I feel like this may be the last episode for Alex and Graham. Their hearts can't take it.
I was listening to a smooth criminal cover, and I clicked off half through to watch this. And wow. It flowed into the LRR intro way better than I would've expected.
Joy might be my favprite addition to the QWRP canon
EDIT: HOW DID THEY MANAGE TO LAMPSHADE ON RADIO?!
The [Insert Mayoral Spoiler Here] and Alex's reaction had me laughing so hard I got light-headed for a moment. Did not see that coming.
That was magnificent; a wonderful capstone on top of an amazing season of hilarity, absurdity and wit. And also a finish with the metaphorical vehicle of the episode (towing the rest of the season) teetering on the edge of a precipice of future season(s) of this beloved show.
Plenty of reason to patiently wait for projects to complete and schedules to line up and enthusiasm to rekindle.
Thanks so much for ALL the fun, LRR - enjoy your well-deserved plaudits! (including this)
This series was so much fun. Can't wait for more!
I love this series so much
BALLLLLLLLL!!!!
I hope we dont go dry for way too long before next season. Nsburg is such a lively town that always evolves, yet feels like home
Holy, this had me dying on the walk home
Maybe the best yet episode of Qwerpline!!
Beej's sponsor tongue twister bit is something i rather enjoy
I'm only sad I used up my Werner von Braun jokes *before* von Spront got into amateur electro-rocketry.
Derek made a Judas Priest reference, please take my upvote and comment.
We want more!
great season! all hail Mayor Hinkley
Someone with a German accent talking about a night of crystal makes me nervous.
A fantastic capstone to a fantastic season, great work!
Oh hey, lampshade hanging.
Welp, that ending was a straight up bark-out-loud-laughing spittake moment.
Truly, we are at the end of Nsburg as we know it: an actual traffic report from Rictor.
Can’t wait for the utopia/dystopic Nsburg we return to next season - the town has never been so dry and smelled of sensual muskrat. Loved the season, looking forward to more.
congrats to richter on becoming a -deeply irresponsible- father
By the end of next season, they'll be broadcasting Hinkley FM in the beautiful independent state of Ball Hinkley's Perfume Kingdom
Was that a Kristallnacht joke?
I'm not offended, just... surprised
I can't believe those bastards went full EVA. And Richter's Intern Mentality Project...
The Evangelion reference from Derek was very surprising!
Am i dying?? Ritcher gave us real traffic. Oh wait Never mind 😂
Give us more! Give us more!
I'm sorry- I now have several followup questions for Mr Dr Von Sprint
I think my brain broke when I heard an actual traffic report from Richter.
I appreciated the 60's batman reference
Holy Batman reference, Batman!
Juicy seems and sounds familiar..... Just can't put it in words. If only I was Nsburg poet laureate
HAHAHAHAHA BALL HINKLEY. MAYOR. Brilliant. If this town couldn't get... more porous.
First of all: thank you for this amazing season, I really enjoy your style of comedy and the production value you achieved is truly impressive.
I do have a small note on one particular line at 15:58, "clear like a night of crystal". I read that as a reference to the "Kristallnacht", in a context of general german-stereotype-charactarization, with a jab at Germanys dark history.
I don't want to participate in the "is it ethically okay to joke about this topic" discussion, I believe this is neither the right place to do that, nor am I qualified to do so. I just want to point out a particular thing about the term "Kristallnacht", that made me type this comment: "Kristallnacht" is the name for the progroms targeting jews on 9./10. Nov. 1938, that was given to it by the Nazi Party.
In discourse regarding the event in german its called "Progromnacht" or "Novemberprogrome" (November progroms), and that distinction is important - to recognize what happened, rather than using the euphemism established by the Nazi Party. Replacing the term "Kristallnacht" with "Progromnacht" in mention by official documentation (like history books, museums, etc.) is a initiative that has only slowly managed to do that in german discourse, which in turn makes it very offensive to knowingly use the Nazi term. Further, people who knowingly insist on calling it "Kristallnacht" are considered to endorse the ideology behind it.
I don't think you did that, in fact I really admire the respect and sensibility you show in your content.
This context is primarily known in german discourse right now, but since the german-stereotype-charactarization makes use of the german language I feel its relevant here.
Again, I don't want to "accuse" you of any wrongdoing, I just thought it may be useful to point out the sensitivity of that specific term, and the implications that it may have for a character using it.
I feel like if something makes it possible to read a character as a die-hard-antisemite, it may be benefitial for the person portraying that character to do that knowingly. (not saying you did not know about this, rather want to make sure you know because its not that much known about that its a touchy subject.)
Anyways, keep up the great work! Thank you so much for everything you do.
We actually had a talk about this on the Discord and TL;DR, that wasn’t the intent and we’ve edited out that line.
Quite frankly, I think Ball will be the best mayor in Nsburg’s history. But boy will it be rough on a certain Aldersman 😂
I actually think he’ll be quite fine.
Is Juicy Toothbrush a Gilbert Gottfried impression?
Can I just say it feels so appropriate for Dick to be driven to the clink by Derrick in the ham-radio van?
Also, congratulations to Beatrice on finally getting an internship.
Is Edith ok?
Nothing a lie down in a dark room and an Alka-Seltzer won't fix.
Is this End of QWRPLine
or You Are (Not) on the Phone
Gooood morning nsburg
So are we going to see a fight between Derek and Joy for the Internship
Edith has a drinking problem and as someone whose struggled with that before I honestly don’t find the addiction aspect of this funny
When did Edith, the most reliable and competent members of QWRP, become such an incompetent drunk?
Through the entire season
At this point, it feels like Summer Intern Derek is becoming one of the more competent members of the station.
It’s been a stressful era in Nsburg
I do love seeing the subtle changes in the cast as time goes on
