Big but unimportant **PLAY ERROR** at 40:00! Mimeoplasm copies the entire first creature ( *NOT* just its text box, but every trait of the creature including its base p/t) and then gets +1/+1 counters based on the second: Graham's creature was not a 5/5, it was an 11/11. Mimeoplasm is only printed as a 0/0 in case it somehow ends up in play without activating, like most clones.
I came to mention this as I find even when played right, everyone always reads/explains is as though it doesn't get additional counters, so I'm a stickler for mimeos
I was going to say, alchemy Mimeoplasm is a lot worse than it’s original version! (The premise of my comment/joke being that any misplays are just using hitherto unreleased alchemy versions.)
TRIVIA TIME at 14:40! Desert (OG) was first *made* a Desert subtype in 2003 as part of Eighth Edition's broad sweep of card type unification, long before any others existed. It was first PRINTED as a Desert subtype in... Time Spiral's timeshifted side-set, only 3 years later, and still over a decade before Amonkhet introduced any further members of the clade.
It's such an interesting peer into the minds of designers back then, that they'd rather update the type line of Desert so that the rules text of camel was still technically accurate, rather than update the camel to instead refer to "lands named Desert" And now we have dedicated Desert decks that get to use what was once basically just a background rules patch!
I really appreciate the extremely medium level of cosplay going on in the thumbnail. There's something wholesome about the idea of diving into the prop closet and just grabbing whatever hats/scarves roughly could be on theme.
Hex is perfect in Kathleen's particular deck because it lets you deal with a ton of creatures while also Committing a Crime, which "destroy all creatures" does not do.
I think that if Felix Five Boots does buy their own boots, they would buy ten pairs of boots. More expensive up front, but at the very least they have two complete sets of boots for themselves.
This series is such a gem. Also, the mimeoplasm enters as a copy of a creature with additional power equal to the power of another, so it was an 11/11 sun titan, rather than a 5/5. Overall, this game was a much better showing of these decks than that of the pre-pre-release!
considering his experience and knowledge he could have easily been an asshole. but He is probably my favourite mtg content creator due to his "cool dude" energy. Also i really identify with absurd hyperfixation memory
This is the greatest honor I've been given....first view and comment....better say something significant. ....Hello, thanks for having me. It's GREAT to be here.
LRRMTG is pretty much the only channel where I don't shy away from 2h+ content. It's just good all the way through, and I enjoy listening to the interactions. Keep up the fantastic work!
The EDSC is always a honest interpretation of commander games and I'm always happy to see the different combination of guests and commander each episode they bring, The shenanigans always fun to see from bits on the channel, actual treats on the table, too just being completive in commander always fun to watch.
Love watching precons play against each other, having that similar power level paired with the consistent themes and flavour makes games more compelling even if they can be less explosive
Every episode of EDSC is what I wish to have in my commander games. Thank you for keeping me entertained with a game that I not always get to enjoy in person :)
I hope they continue to do fun mini games like cashing in bounties with precons. It's such a neat idea for new players jumping in with these decks to get a clearer picture of how your deck is supposed to function.
Love a good western-themed Commander game! I'll just say two things: 1. Yee - and I cannot stress this enough - haw. 2. Be rootin'...be tootin'...be shootin'...but above all else, be kind.
Having done three pre-release events this weekend and waking up to this on a fine Monday morning reminds me that the yee-haw this set brings out of people is truly wonderful.
I seriously love how EDSC is just some friends hanging out and playing some chill magic. The amount of fun tangents that y'all go off on in response to somebody playing something is great. Really shows the social aspect of Magic.
I swear, I just did the best pre-release of my life results-wise and I was wearing a cowboy hat, after watching this game I now believe in the power of cowboy hat and will wear it during MH3 prerelease just to further my studies and learn if it’s a flavour thing, or just *the hat*
Is there something other than "actual play" Magic gameplay? I only hear that term used in D&D tabletop podcasts to distinguish between ones with casual chatter and others edited like actual radio plays.
Absolutly loving this new series. Gonna be getting the edsc card sleeves soon. And would definitely be honored to win one of the commander decks. Id love to have the whole LRR crew sign the box if I do win.
These decks seem like a blast to play with, and wow that's a long episode of EDSC. Always nice to see when everyone gets to do their thing at least somewhat.
Deserts and the whole idea of the theme happened in Arabian Nights. The set gave us Deserts, the card Camel with Desert Walk and ofc Desert Nomads. The first magic expansion ever and boy it was a good one!
Love that EDSC has real down to earth games. I know that if I grabbed these precons I would be able to have the same experience, everybody leaving the table for water when someone has a big turn and all.
I think this was a much better showcase of these pre-cons than the commander game during the showcase. Saw a lot more of what each deck did. Super fun.
The comeback from Graham was really great here,. I am glad that they seem to be building these commander decks with the intention of them playing against each other.
rules question for any kudges who might see this as I can't find a clear answer online; Forger's Foundry reads: "You may exile that spell Instead Of putting it into its owner's graveyard" while flashback just says "exile it' in it's rules text, so does it work like two replacement effects where you can infinitely loop flashback cards as appears when Nelson puts think twice under forger's foundry, or does it end up exiled by flashback getting around the replacement effect of forger's foundry.
Thanks for always having amazing content. Even without the giveaways you're guys stuff is always the best. Thanks for continuing to upload all these years.

@@twarnold14 This is definitely my headcanon now.
Yeah, I thought I heard them read that wrong too
Love the irony of how Graham ended that turn by saying "I'm not good at this".
I love the amount of table talk you get in less tightly edited videos
Stopping play for five minutes to riff on the boot-lore of a new legendary is absolutely the reason I subscribe to EDSC. Bless all of your hearts.
Legit felt like a riff session between old friends and brought me back to good days.
Thank you for 'haw'ving me, it's great to 'yee' here.
We can always count on Wheeler for a new permutation of truly the best greeting
I needed a minute after that, pausing the video to laugh.

And it's a six shooter

Glad I was not the only person to catch that. I feel like 11/11 sun titan would have made Graham the instant arch-enemy
Also niv is a wizard also veyrahn does broken things with him. There were a lot of missed things this game, but eh.
Hehe, yeah it was driving me crazy how Copy creature became copy some parts of the rules text and somehow 4 people got it wrong.
"Neither rootin' nor tootin'" absolutely killed me. Thanks!!
Man, I just love Wheeler. He basically emits "cool dude" energy.
We know it's you wheeler
considering his experience and knowledge he could have easily been an asshole. but He is probably my favourite mtg content creator due to his "cool dude" energy.

"Is Desert a desert?" and other wonderful phrases that Magic creates, love it. Great match and a fantastic line-up!

Thanks for being here. It's great to have you.
@@toomas5948 Thanks for it me. Having to be great here.
Thanks to you, It's great for me having be here.
This is the only time I've seen a first done properly.

Graham looks great in the cowboy hat……but he looks even better now!
Love watching precons play against each other, having that similar power level paired with the consistent themes and flavour makes games more compelling even if they can be less explosive
Every episode of EDSC is what I wish to have in my commander games. Thank you for keeping me entertained with a game that I not always get to enjoy in person :)
I'm very happy that Graham decided to cosplay the evil stealing baron by wearing the big cowboy hat 😂
So, Graham turned a pair of shoes into a cattle. That may be the first time in history someone has done reverse leatherworking
I hope they continue to do fun mini games like cashing in bounties with precons. It's such a neat idea for new players jumping in with these decks to get a clearer picture of how your deck is supposed to function.
My favorite thing is even at my LGS everyone was also wearing a sort of Cowboy Hat for prerelease! Glad to see Graham also in the spirit!
This is such a good lineup - every EDSC with Graham or Kathleen always gets me excited.
same but it's Wheeler that makes me click in a micro second
Love a good western-themed Commander game! I'll just say two things:
1. Yee - and I cannot stress this enough - haw.
2. Be rootin'...be tootin'...be shootin'...but above all else, be kind.
I love how this set is just The multiverse comes to west for a hoedown and a showdown
Wow! Love all the content with North100 being my favorite content on UA-cam. Thank you guys for being awesome :)
Thank you for being here, it's great to have me.
Thank you so much, folks, for making the MTG content you do. You've kept me company while I do the dishes on many a night.
Having done three pre-release events this weekend and waking up to this on a fine Monday morning reminds me that the yee-haw this set brings out of people is truly wonderful.
“Goad target player that creature controls.” Kathleen, you continue to be a delight to watch 🤣💜
Kathleen: I'm going to goad your satyr wayfinder.
Wheeler: *pufferfish eating carrot noise.*
This episode is amazing! I don't care about this set's theme at all, but these precons are really putting on a show!
Watching Graham in that cowboy hat made me chuckle every time it cut to him explaining something technical that a cowboy should not be able to.
EDSC is probably the best publicity these precons get. Seriously, you make look so fun!
Graham truly looks good in that cowboy hat! Thank you for EDSC and your other content, LRR!
I seriously love how EDSC is just some friends hanging out and playing some chill magic. The amount of fun tangents that y'all go off on in response to somebody playing something is great. Really shows the social aspect of Magic.
Everybody just looks absolutely exhausted at the end of the game. Great game, every deck managed to pop off.
EDSC is easily the best show to show off the precons! Love it!
Olivia, Opulent Outlaw should be nicknamed the Triple O.
O, o, o... that's gonna hurt.
Elder dragon social club slowly but surely is becoming my favorite commander gameplay show. Cheers
Some people are saying the gimmick didn't hit with this set but I think that the pun potential alone is worth it
1:41:00 I'm going to follow you home response had me in stiches, thanks Wheeler

EDSC is always great, but having Wheeler in an episode just makes the entire vibe that much cooler (thank you for having him!)
Man.. I was gonna take this set off to save for bloomburrow, but that Yuna deck is fkn cool 😂 might have to indulge just a little
I have been following you guys for a decade now since I was in college and you have never ceased to keep me entertained!
EDSC is the only actual play series I regularly want to watch and never quite get the chance to do so as much as I want.
Is there something other than "actual play" Magic gameplay? I only hear that term used in D&D tabletop podcasts to distinguish between ones with casual chatter and others edited like actual radio plays.
I enjoy watching EDSC on repeat. The outlaws of thunder junction set looks amazing and the gonti deck looks super fun to play!
Thanks for having me, it’s great to be here! Gotta love some EDSC!
Absolutly loving this new series. Gonna be getting the edsc card sleeves soon. And would definitely be honored to win one of the commander decks. Id love to have the whole LRR crew sign the box if I do win.
Definitely my favorite Commander show, your vibes are perfect and it's always nice to see Wheeler. Thanks for having him.
What a great precon face-off! Awesome to see each deck get to do its thing, and a great showing of a theft deck all in one video too....
Yall have the perfect leve of excited about cards but still chill and relaxed and it makes this a very pleasant show to watch, thank you.
Thank you for the opportunity guys.
Always looking forward to a new episode of EDSC ❤
Still one of the absolute best EDH shows on the ding dang net, with the most ELEGANT of editing touches, fun players, and the best of jokes
These decks seem like a blast to play with, and wow that's a long episode of EDSC. Always nice to see when everyone gets to do their thing at least somewhat.
This commander series is my favorite to watch on UA-cam and I always look forward to new releases! Keep them coming gang! Thank you
Love these videos for getting a sense of how decks play. Invaluable for making a decision on where to spend your precious dollars.
There were so many great lines and moments in this one. Hard to recount them all. Was great to see!
I remember watching their sketches years and years ago, glad to see they still do content
Due to your videos, I bought myself my first few precons!! (Corrupting Influence, Party Time, and Riveteer Rampage!) Please keep making more :))
Love seeing the precons played right out of the box. And the precon wheel episodes. Perfect way to review them
EDSC is consistently one of the best commander gameplay series here in YT.
Theres a 1/1 snake in my boots! For some reason it's carrying around a big tower! It's Tower Winder!
Another great game, Great Hat, Great Boots! Y'all are a great group for EDSC and I am particularly jazzed everytime I see a long commander game
Thank you for playing, it's GREAT to watch y'all Pardners
Deserts and the whole idea of the theme happened in Arabian Nights. The set gave us Deserts, the card Camel with Desert Walk and ofc Desert Nomads. The first magic expansion ever and boy it was a good one!
I've said it before, I'm saying it again. The opening track for this show is an absolute banger.
I like the themes of the decks this set, especially the deserts. Always happy to see more funny desert deck in the format.
Thanks guys, appreciate the generosity.
I love you guys so much! Your videos help me find out what decks I could work with and just give off such awesome vibes!
Super fun.
These were really interesting themes to see in precons, & it's cool to see very different gameplay across the same pod !
EDSC is just a fun, chill time with great people. Thanks for the great content LRR 😊
EDSC is always fun to watch with the different guests and decky you guys bring along :D
Wow, that was an insane game. Thank you for playing for us all.
Watching everyone get up and leave while Graham thinks about what to do with all the mana from his Culling Ritual was just fantastic.
When is the random draw for the deck and collector booster over? :)
Literally love EDSC, idk it feels more chilled out in a way that I really enjoy, but also some of my favorite internet people :)
I really enjoy the precon showdowns. Thank you for making these!
Elder Dragon social Club is always super pleasant and fun. Lovely episode!
I really enjoy the EDSC, with the editing I find it easier to follow commander games.
Glad to see that the precon quality is still improving. Great gameplay video!
Thanks for always having amazing content. Even without the giveaways you're guys stuff is always the best. Thanks for continuing to upload all these years.
Thanks for playing, it's s great to be commenting
I love the variety each of you bring to the game, always so fun to watch.
Definitely my favorite commander gameplay series, y'all are so fun
Excited for the video, commenting early for the giveaway! always love the kind folks at LRR, my favorite MTG group by far!!
Always glad to see an EDSC. Makes me look forward to being able to afford getting into commander again.
I absolutely adore EDSC. My favorite type of game. Thanks so much.
Love you guys! Glad yall are enjoying the set!!
What an excellent collection of people. This is how I always want to experience new precons
ALways love the energy everyone brings to the table. It's truly a Yee, and i can't stress this next part enough, Haw Time.
Always love watching the channel. Awesome to see the new commander decks in action.
I look forward to this show every few weeks. Highlight of my day when I see it's out
Always fun to see the EDSC folks! Feels like good, wholesome commander.
This show is wonderful as always. Love the new decks too, they all are surprisingly unique for standard commander decks.
