- This is a closer look on feet review of the new white and clear grey Adidas PureBoost 4.0. You might be disappointed to know that the boost is not the same as before. It is much more firm and hard than any other boost you would try. It is definitely designed for the fitness and active consumer than the casual sneakerhead. I use to praise the pureBoost silhouette for its cloud like feel but this will not be that shoe.

They are more comfy than the NMD or most other boost shoes that people wear casually. I would counter you on saying these are not good to walk around the streets in. They also look good! I especially like these since not many people own these yet, making me stick out from the crowd of NMD's I see everywhere.
Saagar Patel NMD will never be as comfy as pureboost or the ultraboost due to the Eva plastic block on the inside of the NMD. But my comparison for the squishiness is between the first 3 iterations of pureboost vs this one. Thank you for watching!

I run 3 miles a day in these. perfect review. it's soft but just firm enough for running. perfect boost shoe for actual running

Vince MC yea you run in gym. Real runners run outside. All the boost are for casual joggers and walking. It's for comfort. If you working out hard you not really looking for comfort. You look for support and durability.

The pure boost is def made for day to day wear because of how firm it is. The ultra boosts just make your feet tired after a few hours because this too squishy.
This shoes are really good.
But not better than ultraboost

Wish I'd have seen this before I bought this piece of shit trainer. No insole and stiff soles. You also feel the grid through your foot as the day goes on. They made my feet actually hurt

I'm going to the gym now for a while to bulk but I decided to lose weight and go running, I'm still deciding if these shoes would be good enough for sports or should I buy another type of shoes? Maybe you can help me? This is the best review on these shoes I've seen on youtube keep it up!
Maurice Maenhout It depends on your taste in comfort. if you tried boost and you like it then you should definitely buy this pureboost. but if you think these might be too soft. Then the next best option is alpha bounce which is also fantastic. Good luck with your workout!

I got ultra boost , and the most comfy footwear I ever had but, and I think it's a big "but" .......they wear out fast!!!!! All I did was casual walking amd boost is splitting in the spot where your feet bend in the middle, and sole wears out fast same spot.
It's gotta be possible to make the sole thicker and tougher and still keep the comfort
sh!t...I just bought them online. I'm not a runner and want the squishiest sole...but couldn't deny the 4.0 with that great looking night cargo/black sole colorway

Everyone seems to missed out the important factor of the weight of the person wearing it. The midsole performance or rebound feel between a 140lbs & 220lbs wearing it as street wear would be different! That’s why at time we get mixed reviews.
What boost would you suggest. If I wanted a more softer boost feel? I have the 4.0 and did notice they are a bit harder. As you explained. Thanks for the video. ~~Mark

I got these a few days ago in the oreo colorway. The boost feels good to me, but i threw an insole in it just to get rid of the feeling of exposed boost on the inside. Not a big fan of the tongue but I love how these look.
I really like the oreo colourway! Also at the end of the day, Boost is boost, its still squishy. Just not AS squishy as the 1.0 and 2.0. But I do love this Pureboost look way more than the previous Pureboost versions.
any good insole to recommend?
I just went with some generic insoles. I'd say go to your local finish line, they will let you try out insoles.

I'm in love with my pureboost DPR and I plan to get a PB 2017 atr as well.
The Ultraboost 3.0 is cool and all but the pureboost is the most versatile running shoe I have ever tested.
Unless Adidas reinvents the Ultraboost in 2018 the pureboost line will continue to be my favorite Adidas boost shoe.
I just retired my PureBOOST 2.0s and replaced them with an all-blue pair of Iniki and a pair of ON Cloud 50/50s. The PureBOOST 2.0s will be sorely missed.

i walked 8hrs a day at my job... i need a shoe that is supe comfy, i’m always in pain because all the shoes i bought were not supportive... do u guys recommend pueboost fo my... some of the ultaboost don’t feet like the caged ones because its not wide enough for my feet and feel way too tight
Alphabounce! It's the best shoe out there for consistency in walking comfort. If you're standing all day then you'd want to use boost. But otherwise I always recommend bounce. Check out my video on it here ua-cam.com/video/-xJfo-0wPzE/v-deo.html
Sad truth is I still run in the ultra boost just because the rubber is way more durable and the comfort is always there and feels very supported
im not totally sure but i think u might not think it was as squishy because they are brand new because i had the same feeling but after using for awhile it is just as squishy
Great review! Although i must say as someone who runs a lot they were no good for me. They are aesthetically pleasing but in no way a replacement for a running shoe.
I have the pureboost clima off white color and people keep taking them for yeezys lol...

I would go with these ones if you're not on a budget. These pure boost 4.0 have a better grip and they will support you better than the ZG. The ZG even though was designed for training, I believe that the cushioning system on the ZG is made better for walking on the streets over using them in the gym. But if you're on a budget, don't underestimate ZG, it still has potential to give what you need, but it will be much better in the support and grip department with the 4.0. If you can get such a good deal on the Ultraboost ST then I would snatch the Ultraboost ST in a heartbeat. They have an actual torsion plate at the bottom of the boost so you get both cushion and support. Also you have primeknit which forms around your foot instead of just knit on the pureboost.

These are way more comfortable and are sleeker looking. They are lighter and have a much more streamline look. The jordans are bulky and does not have much of a cushioning system. Its also a lot easier to match outfits with the pureboosts.
i got this n use it as daily casual. its much more comfy then my nmd r1 n xr1. but r2 pk "hug" my feet better
ultra boost outsole isn't good for running, mine have worn out so bad just from walking around
I love the pure boost for comfort and the look in white...but it's been about 2 months and I feel like the rubber traction will only last maybe 2-3 months. Also the white needs to be clean all the time, it's a daily shoe so it sucks since it's really a casual daily wear. Don't even think about doing a workout in these, I rolled my ankle bad in these because there is no stability. Any activity that requires cutting lateral movement needs to avoid these shoes. They also bad in the rain, if it's wet outside, there are surfaces where I literally ate shit once I stepped on it.

Another thing you should know before you buy this like the nmd, the pureboost 4.0 dose not have an actual sole, so you foot sits on the boost alone

I hope you can help. Im looking for comfort (not running etc). I once tried the pure boost 1.0 and were THE most comfortable shoe ever. Theyre very hard to find now, so ive come across the pure boost LTD. Which is the most comfortable?
For comfort this Pureboost is at least as good as the Ultraboost, but there is a catch...you have to put an insole inside. It's day and night difference with or without an insole.

@時系列のスプリッター I told you! I think with an insole the Pureboost is a little more comfortable than Ultraboost. I use my Supernova's Glide insoles as there are a little thiker than may Ultraboost's and the cushion is a touch better.

Prefer these over the ultraboost. The 2019 Pureboost Go looks bad though.

Every shoe is comfortable after like 1 hour of wearing but boost that shit is going to hurt. HThe only reason why your feet hurts is that your like me dont like walking so...
I would have agreed with you if I never found out about boost, or alphabounce. If you watch my 500 miles test video here: ua-cam.com/video/-xJfo-0wPzE/v-deo.html You'll know that walking in alphabounce for 30,000 steps everyday gained me just a bit of fatigue but no burning sensation at the bottom of my feet at all.

I have these, still not as good for running as my asics.
there is no boost that is squishier than another all boost is made the same just sculpted differently. Boost is boost there is no variation.
+Tyler Barone adidas utilizes multiple executions of BOOST. The different design and shapes used for and around the shoe directly affect the performance. So there might not be different boost but there are definitely different comforts with different executions.
BillyVisuals I am 100% sure because I went to an Adidas boost engineering convention where they talked about what boost was. and yes, I agree, some boost feels different but that's just because of the way it is sculpted

They Do! and that changes the boost feeling. but I think what Tyler meant to say is just the material in general. Apparently according to him the boost never changes in density properties. But I think they do.

Adidas pureboost vs pureboost go in term of cushioning for walking? Presently iam using pureboost go which has soft cushioning for walking but outer sole is so thin it has been worn out in 4 months but pureboost has thick sole so I wanted to buy it give me suggestions or to go for nite jogger I cannot buy ultraboost as it is expensive
The nite jogger isn't as comfortable as the pureboost. I'd say get the newest version of pureboost as your next shoe.

Adidas zx 500 has boost exposed at the outer sole is it good to buy or boost exposed get damaged as iam using pureboost go. Boost is very delicate otherwise give me suggestion of adidas shoes for walking
If you are worried about looks, I would suggest the ZX torsion. They look like normal shoes but they have boost. So they won't dirty as easily

there are different degrees of boost...it depends on your taste...
watching this after i wear mine for few months .... i choose them over ultraboost ... pure boost is more comfy .. specialy that tongue is great .. and offset laces too ... boost is same as on my response+ and bit firmer and better than on my older ultraboost ... overall .. best boost shoes i ever have .. and they was under 70 bucks (in sale..) so i got 3 pairs ... (blue, black and tripple black ..)

i really like that stealth design with allmost invisible stripes .... but specialy i like them for how comfy they are ... and after wearing them for 2-3weeks they are bit more squishy and softer ... and for me just better :D i even end up buzing one pair for my best friend who allways wears cheapest supermarket shoes and never paid more than 20 bucks for shoes :D and he was absolutely blown out :D and now he wears them every day :D

I still have my Pure Boost 1.0 and I wear them to this day around the house. The rubber outsole is almost completely gone and the boost midsole is cracked in the forefoot, but the upper is flawless to this day.

I bought a pair of these shoes at finish line at my local mall and they look nearly identical to the Black/Burgundy colorway but the stitching is all black, and the "odd plastic bump" near the heel is black instead of burgundy red. I can't find any pictures of any other pair that look like mine online. The gluing between the boost and the outsole is a little messy but everything else is on point. If you've got an idea about how these shoes came to be, reply and tell me what you think.
I think you might have picked up a pair of the Pre-Production models. I've only seen a version of this pureboost from hypebeast when they first announced it. The versions are very different, because the heel fit counter piece is solid and not preforated. KingTiger_ The one he is referring to is just the black knit upper and heel counter pureboost colorway. The one in my video is just triple white with clear grey accents
