There are so many example of double taxation, if I do FD with already tax paid money I am charged with TDs reducing my income, individuals not getting any ITC when they pay GST on all kind of services with the money I earned after paying all taxes. The entire direct and indirect taxation at the hands of an individual goes beyond 35-40%, which still is 2% income tax payers and they are kept squeezed rather than increasing overall base as you rightly mention by creating people with more jobs and business. 🙏

If you are having trouble in considering which one to go with, you can consider the below points in making your decision:
1. Stream choice - IIMs are mostly well suited for consulting profiles, if you wish to go in consulting field you can opt for IIM C, also IIM C is considered the best institute if you wish to make career in the field of Finance.
FMS on the other hand is best suitable for Marketing profile
2. Cohort and Alumni - both institutes have given amazing professionals to India and world but considering the batch size of IIM C (450 approx) you will be having bigger pool of Alumni to network with.
3. Location could also be one the factor which you can consider as Delhi being the capital gives more opportunities to explore the real world situations within the 2 year tenure.
4. Finally fee and ROI where no doubt FMS is the best.
