Portfolio allocation is everything.. if you have invested 2% of portfolio allocation to a stock & that stock doubles & if you allocate 5% of p/f allocation to a stock & that doubles .. how will your portfolio perform ? Think

@@manikandannair1333 not all stocks double of ur portfolio. If 1 stock doubles then 3 others go down or even anyone can go down 90% in having smallcap risky portfolio. I have my custom defined risky portfolio as per my risk taking ability, and it has microcaps, nano caps. It's 10% of my overall asset. Rest of my equity portfolio consists of index funds and ETF. The funds portfolio is my bread n butter, I have pledged it and use option hedging strategies to earn 2% per month on that portfolio besides around 15% CAGR on funds appreciation year on year as added return. Doing this since last 5 years.
Insider trading is a common practice and it's a big threat to retail investors wealth. Basant ji has rightfully raised the issue in the public interest.

Yes sir u r absolutely right The same thing I realised with schaeffler India stock, stock goes down to 2700 result came out (not good result) I sell the stock, next day stock reverse and now it is at 3200 level.
Such people should be punished harshly, that plays with our hard earned money.

You are absolutely right. Microsoft, Facebook and Oracle are more of strategic investors than innovators. I have worked with two of them. They partner or acquire with sector leaders. Google and Tesla are innovators.

Sir is inheritance tax not double taxation. As the parent would have paid tax originally on the money he/she has earned and when it's passed on to there next gen if it's taxed again does not amount to double taxation kindly explain thanks in advance for taking my question

Why does the stock price need to be adjusted on the ex-dividend date? Reducing dividends from speculative price is not fair. I understand the book value goes down with dividend payout but let the market evaluate its new value.

Considering the index has made record highs , our currency has been showing an inverse correlation against usd . I understand that it's due to CAD. We also know that the US has been on a money printing spree considering their debt in hand . Does it actually mean that USD factually is even stronger than what appears to be had this mindless printing of currency was not done .

SIR..I think the job market even for IIts is dull because of AI..I also feel there will be massive retrenchment in IT sector post elections..if Tesla enters India..other Indian manufacturers will be forced to copy Teslan manufacturing procedures there will be more job cuts..the ex Indian chief designer in Intel says that jobs like his will be redundant in 10 years

Hi Sir! a hypothetical question just for humouring the audience. If the US debt crisis spreads and leads to a meltdown, will the dollar crash? If the dollar crashes, will the rupee appreciate and inadvertently hurt our exports? There might be too many variables in this scenario but is the chain of thought in the right direction?
